I am not in BTC ... only the alt coins at the moment which don’t seem as much effected. However my only issue with BTC is when transferring back into USD.

Yes, Ripple serves mainly banks, but imagine that over a trillion dollars is exchange across borders.

Ripple handles transactions 1500 times faster than the BTC platform and faster than ethereum as well.
The argument is a security one. I think that that is not a deal breaker, Japan and S. Korea in trial implementation, the price of Ripple could easily go 10 times higher. IMO

Same as if you use a linked bank account I believe. A % of what you buy. It will tell you the fee off to the right.

In order to trade Ripple first You have to open a coinbase account then bittrex or Binance. Buy bitcoin from coinbase then deposit to bittrex or binance and you are good to go. Hope this helps.

I have all but given up on buying Ripple...I have not traded any crypto currency and its been 3 weeks on waiting to get verified on Bitstamp...i am so frustrated with the process...any other ideas...all other platforms are not taking new accounts...missing out on opportunity

If correct the date I saw is Jan 8th ... I have yet to see a picture showing the web address of where that screen shot was taken yet though. But Ripple is sending out its own waves ... even with the news today. IMO the Ripples started when Amex got on board. if it gets put on Coinbase though then this will be $10 in my opinion in no time.

You need to first buy bitcoin from say Coinbase then transfer over to one of those exchanges. Myself I use Bittrex but many others I hear also use Binance.

Last night I transferred LTC directly from Coinbase to Bittrex and then sold for USDT and then bought Ripple from that. Very easy ... only reason it took me so long was I waited for my price targets to hit on what I wanted to buy and sell at. The transfer was smooth though. (About 5-15 min to transfer.)
