Thanks for your advice
BUT!
I will go with what Ken told me under the advice of his legal team
I think to-day's dump on both Stead stocks was a die-hard bagholder jumping ship finally and bailing out. Look for more to come now - once it starts. Like a stampede !!! You will witness the power of fear.
Not much point to keep posting very much now. Both the Stead Companies are currently dead in the water and almost everything has been written and hashed over many times. Until there is news it is a waste of time to post and debate.
Message Board CEOs

Looks Like They are Screwing it up Again !!!!!!!!!!
Lolzzzzzzzzzzzz
Yes, Accurate reporting and opinions are very important ;)
And the four claims we added (One at KATX and three for BVIG) (Oh wait we have no money)
How did we make additional claims?
KATX is fine - doing what exploration companies do - adding claims and canceling no goes!
Over forty times we have added and canceled claims - Its normal in exploration (for newbies)
Also the canceling of claims shows KATX's continued operations - KATX is not a shell company!
To me Alan it is very clear
I am not confused
The report was as clear as it could be. I think they may have run into problems in giving too much information also. Giving information to shareholders and not sharing with the overall market. I have not dealt with the SEC in a while, but friends are always complaining about all of the Quirks. I am thankful I am away from the scum bags. It seems that one can violate a rule by trying to comply with another. My last public venture was approx half way through the Ronald Reagan term. I sold it to a bigger and was glad to ride out on the freedom train. I take that back. I think Bush was in office. It has been a while though.
The responsibility of any Company is to report all things with clarity. This avoids any misunderstandings like now exist here over the Record Date and the Ex-div Date.
I will agree that some folks that dont want to see it clearly will not until it is here. My contention is it is not the responsibility of any company to teach classes on SEC rules. If it looks to possibly be to my benefit at the specific time on my calendar I will be placing a bet on being right.
Some of your own buddies, shaw, do not agree with you. How can you say it is clear ? If it was clear we would all be on the same song sheet .. and we most definitely are not. I say - the KATX shares that are trading right now carry the rights to participate in the spin-off if it ever happens. Some here say that is not true. If you buy some tomorrow you will get the KATG shares that go with them as part of the spin-off.
gump, really? "To conclude to-day's big debate over the spin off I would say the whole thing is not clear ". I think it is very clear. As I said before, it is not the responsibility of any company to give courses in SEC rules. Do you truly think it is? Maybe they can start the KATX/BVIG University of the SEC. There surely would be a fortune to be made there?
We all have our own opinions about BVIG/KATX, and while I dont own either at the moment, I do not agree with your statement about it being a P&d. We shall see. Oh and by the way, did you notice BVIG is up 20% on the day?? Katx is up 7.14% on the day. What is negative about that?
carefully word..Katx/Bvig Is Pure Pump And Dump..
Just a New round after using up Katx
I agree Shaw
Know What you own

If one believes a position is a P&D it is suggestible that one plays it accordingly.

Point Being..Beware Of The Previous,,It Leads to This..
Questionable Press Releases
Fraudsters often issue press releases that contain exaggerations or lies about the microcap company's sales, acquisitions, revenue projections, or new products or services. These fraudulent press releases are then disseminated through legitimate financial news portals on the Internet

Nah, the assays on the drilling at HC looked pretty promising.
Eliminate all analyses from “grab” or “dump” samples, unless the sample is of a substantial and disclosed weight.bap,

Really? Tell us all about how they do all of the wrong things. I will carefully word this post. How do you know the drilling on Rusty was poor? Do you have insider information on hole #2? Adding and dropping claims is fairly normal in Exploration. Never explore? I thought you just mentioned something about drilling? The Handcamp assays looked fine to me.
To conclude to-day's big debate over the spin off I would say the whole thing is not clear and it is the fault of the 2 KAT Companies that it has not been explained better. If I was a long time KATX bagholder I would certainly like to know just what IS the truth about Record Dates, ex-div dates and the whole thing. They should pressure King Ken to put out some official clarification. Try using the website more. That's what it's for. As for the dropping of one of the H C claims to-day it proves the Company is still short of money.
You got me there, That was my post.
lack of clarity.....I see you Agree Shaw

Re: gump90 post# 9188 Post # of 9245
While I agree it would have been better for them to have explained it, they had no obligation to do so and who knows, that in its self may have violated some SEC rule. Not saying it would have, but who knows.
A Ploy Property Tink..Like Rusty 102 Lolzzzz
Poor Drilling on Rusty
Add more Claims,,Keep the Interest Going
Never Explore,,,Cancel Later
HC Add After Soil Samples
Never Explore...Cancel Later
A Ploy of The Mining Industry
Handcamp, just a Pump That worked
But left a History of Company Intentions
B402, "lack of clarity"?? So are we thinking we should school folks on the SEC rules? There are many very smart people that dont even understand them. The KATX college for SEC lawyers? LOL
All Ceos should be aware of
The actions They take
That,,Is what leagal council is for...
I am sure Kenny is aware of the Lack of Clarity
Shell Game
Thanks. I am about wore out with the links thing.
B402, in fairness, it is not his job to know them. It is the legal councils job. He however should not comment if he does not know them.
Got your PM. I concur with your posts 100% so no need for the links.
TinkeBelle, I have always liked the HC claims. The money to further them seems to be the question. I have doubts about the 24 acres producing the cash flow to do it.
Alan, one question. Has the Xdate been announced as the December date? If not, why? My contention is that the Xdate has not yet been fixed because of the SEC rules. The day after the actual distribution. You are free to believe as you wish though.
Two licenses with 97 claims....looks like that area is large enough for the additional Targets shown in this map...and much more.
http://gis.geosurv.gov.nl.ca/mrinquiry/License.asp?License=011745M 11 claims
http://gis.geosurv.gov.nl.ca/mrinquiry/License.asp?License=017308M 86 claims
Total ~ 35 sq. km.
B402, Link to what? If you want to see the assays, look them up. I am not your maid.
So the CEO is wrong, but others not in the loop, communicating with our Legal Team are correct?
Hmmmmmmmmmm??
That just does not seem believable.
I think the ex date would be the 23 of Dec 2011, since the CEO when asked said holders at Christmas
(As in a Christmas gift to ShareHolders) Sounds Good
The only date left in question is the execution/delivery date!
Link Please.....
Unless your a mining expert
Opinions are just that
Money Spoke
Paid Pumps Spoke
New Property The Same
OTC BS
You are correct TinkerBelle. Good post.
The Pump is a possibility, but the Silver assays were not a joke. They were not bad at all.
No, But You Got some Truth On Handcamp..
Past that
You can figure out why Good companies looked at HC
Drilled it
And Walked
Of course Maybe these companies are stupid
Only Katx Knew
Or Perhaps Jacobson and Stead Pulled off a Pump
Previous Exploration
The area in which Handcamp is located has had a sporadic history of exploration and development since discovery of the Handcamp gold and base metal prospect in 1928. Trenching was carried out on the prospect in 1930 and six short drill holes were completed in 1941. Orenada Mines Ltd. conducted a short 14-hole drilling program on the prospect in 1956. Geophysical surveys including magnetic and electromagnetic surveys were conducted on Handcamp between 1956 and 1977. From 1977 to 1979 Falconbridge Ltd. carried out geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys in the prospect area followed up by trenching and a nine-hole diamond drilling program. During 1982, US Borax Ltd. and Pacific Coast Mines Inc. carried out an induced polarization geophysical survey and subsequently a seven drill hole approximately 684 m drilling program.

They were indeed Partners as was Matheson before that and

dating up to 2009,well after Stead said the association ended
Jacobson was convicted of Stock Charges
As recent as May 31, 2009, KATX issued William Jacobson convertible debenture for $500,000

Some guys really like to distort, I guess lack of facts and attitude. Kat was incorporated in 2005 and at a mining show in Vancouver that year an acquaintance put us in touch with Atlas Mining who we knew nothing about and being a private company we were supporting the company with personal funds which wasn't going to take us to far. A 1 year deal was struck with Atlas Mining for grubstaking Kat with an option to continue funding if so desired. However, after the 1 year was up Atlas decided not to fund Kat any longer. So that deal was finished and we had nothing to do with Atlas since. Yet a year or so later Atlas came in to some legal problem that we had no knowledge of and still don't.
This left us on our own for a few more years using our own funds once again and yes just scraping along and doing just enough on our properties to keep them in good standing without pay checks. I went 23 months before I got my first paycheck last time around. We continued to keep discovering new areas and eventually came up with enough money stake new properties and now it seems to have paid off and hopefully we'll be good from here on in.

Jacobson Conviction
Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Associated Press
BOISE, Idaho —
A northern Idaho mining company's former chief executive must pay $50,000 to settle allegations he financed his company's struggling operations by illegally distributing millions of dollars worth of stock to investors.
William Jacobson, former CEO of Atlas Mining Co., is also barred from serving as an officer or director of any issuer for five years, the Securities and Exchange Commission said in a statement Tuesday.
Atlas Mining is now known as Applied Minerals Inc.
The SEC alleged Jacobson from 2002 to 2005 tried to keep Atlas afloat by orchestrating illegal stock schemes, then fabricated documents and made false statements in public filings to cover his tracks.
The company, based in Osburn, Idaho, in July settled a class action lawsuit when it agreed to pay $1.25 million to investors who claimed the company artificially inflated stock prices through false financial statements.

PR about Atlas/Katx/Handcamp Purchase
Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Atlas Mining (OTCBB:ALMI) and partner Kat Exploration earlier this month bought acquisition rights to the Handcamp Gold Property in Newfoundland. Atlas also announced that DURTEC GmbH of Neubrandenburg, Germany would distribute its halloysite clay in Europe. Atlas mines a pure white halloysite at its Dragon Mine in Juab County, Utah, which it says is the only commercial source outside New Zealand. (Halloysite is used in porcelain, china and a growing number of high-tech ceramic applications.)
From a low under 80 cents last winter, stock of the Osburn outfit has jumped up to about $1.80 now.

That's right usafa, this cancelled claim was never drilled...
The Kat Business Summary details the plan for Handcamp 2nd Phase. And it did not include this claim that has been cancelled. (see maps below)

The Message Board CEO...
Are you sure he even Knows The Rules
Care to Post it
He Had many posted in the 2010 pump
Most were half truths to cover up
Really? A joke? Please supply a link fro the financiers that proves that statement up. It is obvious that KATX lost financing. It could be for other reasons than the "JOKE" scenario. I actually liked the silver assays there.
Handcamp Drilling was a Joke to Financiers
And the Market...
The financiers left
None took their place
and 2 yrs has past
It was a Pump Property from the begining
Just an 80yr old property bought from a crook
who Also got 500k in Convertable Debentures
Ked Denied it
Later Filings showed
Ken Lied Lied
It was part of the Handcamp area package of 3 licenses. Now it's only 2. Generally unless you are pinched for money you don't drop huge chunks out of your claim package. This is another NEGATIVE hit no matter how you wish to spin it !!!
Handcamp:

Gump, I was not all that disappointed with the HC drill program. Lets not get back into the no matter what negative mode?
Not sure what you are talking about. This one wasn't even drilled.
One of the rich ha ha ha Handcamp ones !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know -- the Fab Flagship Property with all that gold and silver. This is a true buffoon show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
