PURE Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) is focused on developing efficient ways to book lodging accommodations in high-end luxury units at a relatively low cost. The company is able to accomplish this by focusing a large part of its operations on the development and acquisition of condominium apartments in rapidly up-and-coming tourist destinations like Costa Rica.

Operating a successful bi-lateral business model, PURE has four objectives:

The company initially began growing its operations primarily in the United States. However, major opportunities in Central America have emerged, giving PURE the ability to retool its business model. The company is now positioned to acquire, own and operate its own properties marketed under the new brand with occupancies handled its Central American-Caribbean region specific online travel agent (OTA), Oveedia.

PURE is a member of the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica, which provides the company immediate opportunity to deploy, market and expand the reach of Oveedia throughout the country.

Ultimately, PURE intends to become a top-tier hotel brand operator and Internet booking and marketing service provider, qualifying as a preferred supplier to lending institutions. PURE Projects

Bahia Encantada has long been considered one of the most high-end residences in Playa Jaco, Costa Rica. Bahia Encantada was completed in late 2007 and was designated the Best Costa Rican Condominium Project of 2007 by La Nación (Biggest Costa Rica NewsPaper).

Just a little over an hour from the Juan Santamaria International Airport in the capital of San Jose, Bahia Encantada offers ocean views over a series of infinity pools from what is widely considered Jaco’s most beautiful beachfront estate. The complex is comprised of 48 units and numerous terraces, including private rooftop terraces atop all penthouse suites.

The condominium complex also features a large central courtyard with entertainment areas; separate kids’ pool; tri-level swimming pool with swim-up bar; and direct access to the beach. Each condo is fully furnish and features amenities such as a washer and dryer, flat panel LCD TV, DVD player, air conditioning, wireless Internet, cable TV and more. Property services include housekeeping, 24/7 security, multi-lingual management, executive concierge services and shuttle services.

PURE also has exclusive property located inside the Nativa Resort. Situated in the Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica and only 45 minutes from San José, Nativa is the closest beach resort from the capital city.

Nestled in the heart of a tropical forest, Nativa is considered to be a premier resort with luxurious homes and condominiums just steps away from Carara National Park, which is one of the most protected areas in the world.

Offering true splendor in the grass, the resort is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and natural beauty at all corners. The area abounds in wonder with mountains, rivers, reptiles and a pallet of marvel in flowers and exotic birds.

 


Oveedia

The primary source of PURE’s potential stems from its proprietary, user friendly online booking engine technology solution called FROL (Friendly Reservations Online). FROL is undergoing an overhaul for its upcoming re-launch, at which time it will operate under the brand name Oveedia as an online travel agent (OTA) focusing on the Central American-Caribbean region.

Oveedia will ultimately incorporate new mobile apps, give travelers the newest electronic payment options, provide hotel operators and condominium owners with back-end technology services, and will operate as a standalone online hospitality search and reservation booking system.

Oveedia signed its first hotel, Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas, in the first quarter of 2015.

The Tango Mar property is a 4-star, 30-room hotel located directly on the beach, within 25 km of Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve, El Carmen Beach and Curu National Wildlife Refuge. Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas has a vast array of amenities, including a terrace, fitness facility, a private beach with umbrellas, towels, and sun loungers; a meeting room, airport transportation, two full-service restaurants, computer stations, conference center, outdoor tennis courts, and a top of the line golf course on site. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and four beautiful outdoor pools, on top of a swim-up bar, to ensure a fun and relaxing stay. Tango Mar has award winning spa and yoga programs, equipped with massage and treatment rooms for individuals and couples.

As the dominant travel hub and OTA platform for Central America and the Caribbean, Oveedia will also become the “social media” hub, utilizing and integrating the most popular social media platforms available.

Additionally, Oveedia’s Photo Sharing platform will allow users to not only upload pictures of their destinations, but allow others direct access to booking their trips, purely by clicking a photo. The company’s intention is to build a database of professional grade pictures of hotels largely for the benefit and enjoyment of travelers. Fundamentally however, this integration is expected to greatly increase the appeal and value proposition of the Oveedia online hospitality booking platform.

 


Industry

Technological advancements have rapidly changed the travel booking industry. eMarketer estimates that U.S. digital travel sales, including leisure and unmanaged business travel purchased online and via mobile devices, is on pace for slow but steady growth between 2013 and 2017, achieving a 5.36% compound annual growth rate (CAGR).

The eMarketer report, entitled, “US Digital Travel Sales: Mobile Drives Changes in a Mature Marketplace,” forecasts that total U.S. digital travel sales will reach $136.4 billion in 2013, an 8% increase from 2012.

Digital travel as a percentage of total travel is expected to remain high, and accounted for more than 40% of total travel sales in 2012, according to research from PhoCusWright.

Specific to the Latin American region, eMarketer forecasts 2015 and 2016 online travel sales of $29 billion and $34 billion, respectively.

Description of the business operations

The primary source of Pure’s potential stems from its proprietary, user friendly online booking engine technology solution, FROL (Friendly Reservations Online). The FROL system gives travelers an online hospitality search engine which offers a wider range and variety of options to choose from; including independent boutique properties, “by PURE” branded hotels and condominiums, as well as other hospitality venues (i.e. restaurants, sports arenas, etc.).

Currently, FROL is undergoing an overhaul for its upcoming re-launch. The re-launch was slated to accommodate a pending merger/acquisition of projects located in Costa Rica. The re-launch of FROL will be in phases. The new FROL will ultimately incorporate new mobile apps, give travelers the newest electronic payment options, provide hotel operators and condominium owners with back-end technology services, and, will operate as a standalone online hospitality search and reservation booking system.

Pure will launch and operate the new “by PURE” brand. The “by PURE” brand, will provide boutique hoteliers and condominium owners, with the necessary tools to successfully operate properties worldwide. The “by PURE” brand, will be contracted by hotel operators and condominium owners, to provide brand identity – which ultimately increases occupancy levels. The “by PURE” brand will also provides online technologies, marketing solutions and other infrastructure tools to increase operational profits.

Hotel operators and condominium owners contracting with the “by PURE” brand will receive the registered trademarked brand name, proprietary online central reservation and payment processing engine, integrated GDS distribution and e-Marketing. With the implementation of the FROL technology and other infrastructure offerings, a property can experience international exposure and recognition as well as increased occupancy and revenue.

Pure business model leverages four (4) sources of revenue:

1. Initial Membership fees charged to each new hotel and condominium properties joining the “by PURE” lodging brand;

Internet hotel search and reservation sites (Expedia, Orbitz, etc.) generally charge about 25% of the total reservation amount with the exception of Booking.com (12.5%).  These Online Travel Agents (“OTAs”) are essentially third party travel websites offering virtual billboards to hotels and condominiums looking to market their properties to online travel shoppers.  Due of the high volume of traffic to a limited number of billboards, these OTAs are in a position to command higher commission rates.

What Pure will do, is leverage the OTAs’ billboard effect.  This will be accomplished by conveying the story of Pure’s corporate properties and “by PURE” members to online travel shoppers through OTAs’ sites.   Following the “Ten Commandments for Hotels,” according to Benu Aggarwal (founder of Milestone Internet marketing, Inc.), this will ensure that travelers see and visit Pure’s property websites.
To be competitive Pure will offer its hospitality reservation services, utilizing its booking engine, at 8% of the reservation amount.
