Everyone better hope these are "tin foil" hat wearers:
Do any zombie liberals ever think for themselves? Here's a bit of information for those who may be lurking and still believe that the ACA is good for the country.
1. Medicare/Medicaid patients do NOT receive the same treatment as private health care patients because Medicare/Medicaid screws doctors in what they will pay. That is a FACT.
2. Studies show that Medicaid beneficiaries tend to be less healthy than the general uninsured population . . ." -- That's not the general INSURED population, but the UN-INSURED.
3. The AFP is warning Virginians that the system “will cost Virginia taxpayers billions,” require “future tax hikes and budget cuts to vital services like schools, police and fire departments,” undermine the “doctor-patient relationship,” increase wait times and even endanger lives. -- Again, this is not made up. This is all true. Anyone who has run a business and provided insurance to their employees would know that these mandates and penalties are nothing but a new way to generate revenue for the gov't. Many have called it a new tax for this very reason.
Those pro-ACA (aka Obamacare), listen up, and learn something.
Say you are a company with 75 employees, and you currently provide a health insurance for your employees through Blue Cross. You, as the employer, pick up 75% of the premium, because you have several employees who are in the 50's , 60's, and even a few in their 70's working full time, and they have been with your company for decades. If they work full time, then Medicare cannot be their primary insurance, so having these older employees makes your premiums higher than normal. That is why you pay the 75% -- to make it affordable for your employees.
Now, the gov't steps in and sets a mandate on what they call affordable, and if you do not meet that standard, and even ONE employee qualifies for a tax subsidy on the exchanges, you, as an employer, will be subject to a $2,000-$3,000 penalty (a new type of tax) owed to the gov't. One of the consequences of the ACA are rising premiums for private insurance. It's just a FACT.
So, what if your renewal on your group plan makes it unaffordable for the company to pick up 75%, but because of the new rules on what is considered "affordable" for the employee, they (the small company) actually would be forced to pick up 85% in order to not have any employees qualify for the subsidy and force automatic penalties on the employer, who cannot afford them. The EMPLOYEES want to keep their PRIVATE Blue Cross plan, because they KNOW doctors and hospitals receive better payment than Medicaid and Medicare, and they understand that the exchange plans will be patterned after these.
What's the company now to do? They have limited choices. They could fire enough people to be able to pay 85% on the ones left, but that might place the business in a precarious spot, and it creates more unemployment. They could forget private insurance completely, pay the penalty, and let the employees fend for themselves, but they KNOW that it's not simply those at the VERY bottom of the pay scale having a difficult time affording insurance. They KNOW that the family making more than the percentages above the poverty lines that qualify for help from the gov't will not be able to afford health insurance if the company stops paying the 75% they were.
Because liberals on these board and across the country ONLY consider the BOTTOM 10% living in total, abject poverty, who might get free health insurance, instead of relying on emergency rooms, or just being unhealthy, they are willing to let health care and affordability deteriorate for the other 90%, and IT WILL. It will also lead to small company employees getting SCREWED if they are currently covered under private insurance.
Any THINKING American with real world experience running a business KNOWS this, so liberals with NO experience should just keep their mouths shut.
Here's why there were those who still voted NO for the debt ceiling. Because kicking the can down the road, which is all a bought and paid for Congress and an OWNED president will ever do, is condemning future generations. Like I said a thousand times, unless the Congress steps up and just says nothing in the federal gov't will get funded until the budget is balanced immediately, not one of these bogus 10-20 year plans of reducing how much they OVER-spend, or a President steps up and admits that the Congress is bought and paid for, and so he will go around them and oppose the bansters himself and risk life and limb, NOTHING will happen, and the course set for economic Armageddon will continue.
U.S. debt jumps a record $328 billion — tops $17 trillion for first time
U.S. debt jumped a record $328 billion on Thursday, the first day the federal government was able to borrow money under the deal President Obama and Congress sealed this week.
The debt now equals $17.075 trillion, according to figures the Treasury Department posted online on Friday.
The $328 billion increase shattered the previous high of $238 billion set two years ago.
The giant jump comes because the government was replenishing its stock of “extraordinary measures” — the federal funds it borrowed from over the last five months as it tried to avoid bumping into the debt ceiling.
Under the law, that replenishing happens as soon as there is new debt space.
In this case, the Treasury Department borrowed $400 billion from other funds beginning in May, awaiting a final deal from Congress and Mr. Obama.
Usually Congress sets a borrowing limit, or debt ceiling, that caps the total amount the government can be in the red.
But under the terms of this week’s deal, Congress set a deadline instead of a dollar cap. That means debt will rise by as much as the government spends between now and the Feb. 7 deadline.
Judging by the rate of increase over the last five months, that could end up meaning Congress just granted Mr. Obama a debt increase of $700 billion or more.
Republicans initially sought to attach strings to the debt increase, but surrendered this week, instead settling on a bill that reopened the government and included some special earmark projects, but didn’t include any spending cuts.
Democrats insisted that the debt increase be “clean,” meaning without any strings attached. They say the debt increase only allows Mr. Obama to pay for the bills he and Congress already racked up, and that it doesn’t encourage new spending.

My solution to being eligible for welfare is to require a birth control shot each time you apply and reapply, but I like this better, because this guy is correct -- for 99.9% of these people, no matter their color, nothing will ever change. They spawn generation after generation of criminals and welfare recipients, so limiting this specific population is good for the most people. The liberal argument of "you can't legislate what people do with their bodies" is pure crap. Sure you can, especially when it negatively affects the population. They do it all the time, or all drugs would be legal, if you only did it to yourself, etc.

I worked for a government contractor and there was always a G man with a gov credit card that could bypass all the red tape to purchase things we needed right now. I sexpect there are expeditors in every government organization around the world.

This may inflame some folks, but for others I hope it jogs our brain cells to ask, how did we get to this spot, and why are we of this prepper mindset?
Think back to the early sixties (if you can), 6th grade in sunny California, and unlike my folks who suffered through the Great Depression, life was good. NY Yankees' Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris were hitting away, trying to break the Babe's home run record. Every kid in my school played ball, at every opportunity, and you carried your glove with you, everywhere...it was a mark of boyhood. The school janitor was our ump, and recess went by all to fast. Girls did their own thing, and to be honest I don't remember what it was. Even the teachers were "betting" on Mantle, but the principal held out for Maris. America invented baseball, along with the Colt .45 peacemaker and 1911, flying saucers, the muscle car, the movies, Rock and Roll, NASA, the transistor radio, drive-in theaters, cowboys and the wild west, and countless scores of other things. We were a nation of heroes and legends who won the World War against fascism and evil. We even won at the Alamo even when we lost, because of men like Crockett and Bowie and Travis. Sports figures were heroes, not thugs, they were paid well but not rich, and they spent time with kids, not like today's sports celebrities, who spend more time using performance enhancers to cheat. Kids played outside, with no fear.
Eisenhower, the commanding General of "the Allies" in WWII, was President. Kennedy and Nixon were running for President, and the girls all wanted Kennedy because he was the better looking and younger of the two. We all felt a sense of strength in Kennedy, whether or not that was true. He was perceived as a just man who would not be slapped around, who knew right from wrong, and had proven himself in battle. John and Jackie Kennedy were the darlings of the era. Nobody disliked them. When we look back at those times, now-liberal agendas were simply not on the table and not debated as today. And Kennedy was not mocked for his frequent mentions of the Almighty. BHO would have never been elected during this time, regardless of skin color or attitudes then, but because of his socialist views, his associates, and his lack of proven leadership qualities.
Most boys were in Scouts, and most went through hunter safety. I still remember that nobody caught any flak for walking down the street with your .22. We all had a warrior mindset, but not a mindset of violence or evil to our fellow Americans, but rather, respect. The NRA was not involved in politics like today, because there was no need to protect peoples' 2nd Amendment rights...everyone just had them - this was America!. Kids could go into Joe Agueda's gas station and buy .22 rounds for very little money. There were no background checks of course.
Most things were based on horse sense. There were not a lot of "WSM's" (whining, sniveling malcontents) who showed themselves back then. Men married women. Homosexual people did not join up in the military and if found out they were booted out. Women did not serve on board ships in the Navy with men. Duh. People refrained from certain locker-room talk in front of women and kids, flipped the bird only to your worst enemy, and the "F" bomb was not dropped in public, especially by young people, and never on the silver screen. People helped others who were in need or in trouble. People who acted like jerks were shunned, and those who were honorable were respected.
Certain things were never done. Nobody, not even nuts, not even suicidal nuts, walked into a school full of children or into a movie theater or a military installation or a church, and opened fire. There was always a general, overall sense that this country was one of real manhood, whose people were warriors, who would protect us all from harmful people, from mentally deranged people. There were far less threats because those of that bent were not allowed to just go about in society doing as they wished. There were consequences, not like today. There was far more respectful treatment among us. Life was sometimes harsh, sometimes "unfair", and sometimes folks' "rights" were violated...but we were far, far safer than today, and without "political correctness". There were winners and losers, and that was not considered a detriment to our society. People just dealt with it. Like Clint Eastwood's character in "Heartbreak Ridge" said, "Adapt, improvise, overcome".
While people were different in many ways, and there were always the criminal types ("hoodlums" Granny called them) ...it seemed like most Americans were on the same page. Yes there was still problems with segregation in those days, especially in the South - a scar, a blight, and a curse on our country ever since the inclusion of slavery on our shores. Native Americans and Japanese citizens were also treated poorly in our history. In spite of our weaknesses and failures and differences, we seemed to be more of a nation of patriots, even black men (called "negroes" then) rose above the racial inequalities and fought their hearts out or competed their hearts out when called; As did our Native Americans, as did our Japanese people...persecuted and oft times ridiculed, but fought anyway, because we were a nation of patriots. Adults were also hard working patriots, with a sense of dignity and loathing for handouts. We all come from pioneers and fighters, most of whom were from foreign shores. Our whole culture is one based on survival in the face of hardships.
The UN was still an infant back then, and heralded by many as a new, ground-breaking way to have peace on Earth (okay so that didn't work so bueno.) All of us in grade school had to know who Dag Hamerskjold was, the 2nd secretary general of the UN...he died in a plane crash while in office, and President Kennedy called him "the greatest statesman of this century". At about the same time, Fidel Castro had stormed Cuba and we were all taught that he was a no-good, a "red" (communist) who murdered his own people and enslaved many, like Stalin or Hitler. In spite of the celeb's today who want us to believe Cuba is wrongfully persecuted by the USA, talk to those who risked their lives to get out of there, to be here.
The 50's and early 60's were lazy, blissful days. Saturday matinees, and Little League. Weekly ball games on TV called by legends Pee Wee Reese and Dizzy Dean, and heavyweight boxing matches on "the boob tube" as my Dad called it (to him there would never be another Rocky Marciano - and Cassius Clay was no Marciano, he would say). Push manual lawn mowers, record stores, rotary dial phones and party lines, hot cars, cheap gas, "Bonanza" (yay!) and Lawrence Welk (yech!) It seemed like everybody smoked cigarettes except a few of the old timers who stuck with their pipes. There were no microwaves, bottled water, smart phones, the internet, video games, iPods or pads, Kindles, methamphetamine labs or crack houses (although there were "dope fiends"), rock concerts, gyms, espresso coffee, pizza or fast food joints. There was also no Super Bowl much less "tailgate parties", nor were there any "R" rated movies or any other rating for that matter..."Ben Hur" and "Ol' Yeller" were the hit movies. And there were definitely no terrorists. Still, there were lots of mistakes made in those days, from abusing our lands and wildlife to unwise medical practices to liberal parenting models (thanks to Dr. Benjamin Spock)..we are, after all, fallen, imperfect human beings in constant need of a Savior!
Most importantly, there were no preppers as we know it today. Folks just modestly put away here and there for emergencies, or disasters, not counting the "fall out shelter" craze that went on for awhile during the Cold War. But Mom's knew more back then about making things, and all Mom's cooked like crazy back then. Government and/or economic collapse was hardly ever talked about, pandemics and natural disasters were mentioned occasionally, there were no movies about these themes. And climate change was not on the table at all. Catch this: Nobody would have ever dreamed that just owning a gun and ammo would be a big deal, or that .22 LR would ever be in short supply.
When we were stopped and questioned by the local gendarme's back then, it was always "yes sir" and "no sir"...or you suffered the consequences. Same applied to teachers and neighbors. In those days the male teachers wore coats and ties and were well-groomed, and used those long yellow chalk board erasers on sassy boys, with reckless abandon. The female teachers wore dresses in class, and were equally well known for their lightening fast disciplinary techniques, again, mostly with the boys. Parents used corporal punishment on children as well, with no fear of child abuse charges because somebody's bottom got a spanking...it was just...common sense! Try that today. Respect.
Little did we realize, but there were hard and confusing times shortly ahead, much different than the challenges of WWII and Korea. There were also insidious forces at work behind the scenes, on the attack from the inside to change our way of life as we knew it. Nothing like Pearl Harbor mind you, but attacks nonetheless. Many of us remember watching little Nikita Khrushchev pound his shoe on the podium at the UN and warning us that communism would take us over...from within!
As just one example, most of us did not realize that the number of attorneys would explode over the next few decades, litigating the USA into a society of fear and loathing where anyone could get sued for anything. The ACLU, founded by a card carrying communist, would become extremely powerful and give birth to many like organizations, such as the National Lawyers Guild. These organizations have put a serious dent in legal fairness, common sense, and Americanism, and continue to do so, unabated. They have warped our judicial system and have made a mockery of criminal justice.
What has taken it's toll on America? The killing of the Kennedy's and MLK, Viet Nam, the drug culture, abortion, segregation unrest, bigger and more abusive government, taxes, crime, liberal prison reforms, powerful labor unions, the growth of gangs, "alternative" lifestyles, Hollywood, the MTV culture, environmental hazards and disasters, the entitlement lifestyle, porous borders, ill health and obesity, and most importantly, the rejection of our Christian heritage. We are a nation divided. There are now many Americans who have zero respect for parents, teachers or elders, for our laws and our Constitution, our heritage, or for our military protectors.
Like the frog in the hot water, we are now close to the boiling point, and we are complacent, choosing to boil to death rather than jump out of the cauldron. This is very dangerous for our society.
An example: Who would have thought years ago that it is "normal" to hear a Hollywood talking head on the radio, advertising tax specialist assistance in order to keep the IRS from seizing our bank accounts and homes because of "back taxes"?. Why are we standing for this nonsense? We are taxed to death already, and nobody's homes or paychecks should be seized by anyone in this country much less our own government!. Yet we ignore the advertisement and think about getting a latte instead.
So we prepare for the worst because we can't rely on our leaders in Washington to do right by us. Instead, we fear our own government, and with good reason. With each passing year, the government shows itself to be a heartless and really dumb entity that exists to victimize it's own citizens. To add insult to injury, our government and the Central Bank are bedfellows, and between the two, have managed to drive us to financial Armageddon. The American dream is a little hard to come by when everyone ends up broke.
We prep because we can't trust the rest of the world to leave us in peace and worry about their own countries.
We prep because we want to take care of our families and give our little ones a fighting chance.
We prep because we don't want to be boiled frogs.
Those who take the necessary precautions, those who are the willing, will be able to take our heritage back from those who are stealing it and destroying it. Because we have respect for our country. But if we continue to thumb our noses at the Creator of the universe and all mankind, it won't matter. Time to realize that Jesus is coming back, and now is not the time to be goofing off!

WOW, I am rural NH, but the liberals still outnumber us. Great job with the kids, it is a learning experience for their future if their parents allow it to be.
NH
Fortunately we are in a rural area and the Liberals are way outnumbered. We do get a few and those are the ones that think Soccer is a non-contact sport. We don't tolerate misbehavior by coaches, parents or kids much at all. This is recreational soccer, unfortunately some parents can't seem to understand that the idea is to have fun. We don't even keep score till they get into the over 9 to 10 yr. old brackets.
Likewise, have I. I helped a few, got screwed. BUT, I took a second look and found that I was not looking at the right folks. There are those that you can help and keep helping and they never improve. There are also those that only need a helping hand to get started. They continue to run with it and go on to make something of themselves.
NH
How do you put up with the parents, many being liberals? I have seen some of the "games", it is not pretty.
NH
You THINK???????
NH
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
How many progressives acan recite that?
NH
Progress moving forward, two steps up one step back?
Seems like its going in a circle... Sure, raise the debt ceiling now but how long until the next stale mate? Raise, pause, raise, pause.... Do something significant, please...#POLYMON
Nothing left to say!
Go competent gov't!
THE WORLD CENTRAL BANK (1948 - Present)
In Washington, the headquarters of both the World Bank and the IMF (International Monetary Fund) face each other on the same street. What are these organisations, and who controls them?
To find out we need to look back to just after WWI. At this point the money changers were attempting to consolidate the central banks under the guise of peacemaking. To stop future wars they put forward the formation of a world central bank named the Bank of International Settlements, a world court called the World Court in the Hague, and a world executive for legislation called the League of Nations.
In his 1966 book entitled Tragedy and Hope, president Clinton's mentor Carroll Quigley writes about this.
"The powers of financial capitalism had [a] far-reaching [plan], nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole.
This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences.
The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations.
Each central bank... Sought to dominate its government by its ability to control treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."
Carroll Quigley, Professor, Georgetown University
They got 2 out of 3. The league of nations failed largely owing to the suspicions of the people and while opposition concentrated on this, the other two proposals snuck their way through.
It would take another war to wear the public resistance down. Wall street invested heavily to rebuild Germany, as the Chase bank had propped up the Russian revolution.
Now the Chase merged with the Warburg's Manhattan Bank to form the Chase Manhattan which would later merge with the Chemical Bank to become the largest bank on Wall Street.
In 1944 the US approved its full participation in the IMF and the World Bank. By 1945 the second League of Nations was approved under the new name 'The United Nations'. The war had dissolved all opposition. The methods used in the National Banking Act of 1864 and the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 were now simply used on a Global scale.
The Federal Reserve Act allowing the creation of Federal Reserve notes is mirrored by the IMF's authority to produce money called Special Drawing Rights (SDR's). It is estimated the IMF has produced $30 billion dollars worth of SDR's so far. In the United States SDR's are already accepted as legal money, and all other member nations are being pressured to follow suit. With SDR's being partially backed by gold, a world gold standard is sneaking its way in through the back door, which comes with no objection from the money changers who now hold two-thirds of the worlds gold and can use this to structure the worlds economy to their further advantage.
We have gone from the goldsmith's fraud being reproduced on a national scale through the Bank of England and the Federal Reserve, to a Global level with the IMF and the World Bank. Unless we together stop giving these exchange units their power by our collective faith in them, the future will probably see the Intergalactic Bank and the Federation of Planets Reserve set up in much the same way.
This radical transfer of power has taken place with absolutely no mandate from the people.
Nations borrow Special Drawing Right from the International Monetary Fund in order to pay interest on their mounting debts. With these SDR's produced at no cost, the IMF charges more interest. This contrary to bold claims does not alleviate poverty or further any development. It just creates a steady flow of wealth from borrowing nations to the money changers who now control the IMF and the World Bank.
The permanent debt of Third World Countries is constantly being increased to provide temporary relief from the poverty being caused by previous borrowing.
These repayments already exceed the amount of new loans. By 1992 Africa's debt had reached $290 billion dollars, which is two and a half times greater than it was in 1980. A noble attempt to repay it has caused increased infant mortality and unemployment, plus deteriorating schools, and general health and welfare problems.
As world resources continue to be sucked into this insatiable black hole of greed, if allowed to continue the entire world will face a simular fate.
As one prominent Brazilian politician, Luis Ignacio Silva put it.
"Without being radical or overly bold, I will tell you that the Third World War has already started - a silent war, not for that reason any the less sinister. This war is tearing down Brazil, Latin America and practically all the Third World. Instead of soldiers dying there are children, instead of millions of wounded there are millions of unemployed; instead of destruction of bridges there is the tearing down of factories, schools, hospitals, and entire economies . . . It is a war by the United States against the Latin American continent and the Third World. It is a war over the foreign debt, one which has as its main weapon interest, a weapon more deadly than the atom bomb, more shattering than a laser beam . ."1
If a group or organisation had used its hard earned money to help these developing nations, then we might sympathise that there should be a real effort to repay these loans. But the money used was created from fractional reserve banking. The money loaned to the Third World came from the 90% the banks allow themselves to loan on the 10% they actually held. It didn't exist, it was created from nothing, and now people are suffering and dying in an effort to pay it back.
This has gone beyond clever financing, it's whole sale murder and it's time we stopped it. We can!
1. Luis Ignacio Silva, at the Havana Debt Conference in August 1985, quoted by Susan George, A Fate Worse Than Death p 238
Some progressivists say we are all just one health emergency away from financial disaster.
But they never bother to ask themselves, "Why?"
"If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth programme, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of super-rich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead, it becomes logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs.
Communism or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite."

How can you POSSIBLY think they'd be correct? Inflation is adding up DAILY!
Do you not see how it has diminished you,... year after year after year???
That is a constant. Your buying power is NOT what it was, nor is it going up. Americans are worse off at 2013 than 2003, than 1993, than 1983, than 1973, than 1963! Just extrapolate. Look at the price changes vs wages. That is the true rate of inflation.
Don't buy the BULLSHIT!
The run up to going over the edge is the run up to GOING over the edge. Once you're over, you aren't taking it back.

That's what I've been preaching for the past 20 years, yet no real "collapse" has come, as many "experts" who think like I do keep saying is inevitable.
Maybe we are correct, but it will take another 200 years (although my own logic says it should have come in the past 2-3 years and certainly will in the next 5), so being angry and fighting it every day might be a waste of our lives, and in the final analysis, we will accomplish nothing to help our children and grandchildren.
Just discouraging to see the evil have so much control with a simple printing press!
It's a perplexing place to be mentally to hate evil and want to see it punished, and justice and logic served, while knowing that for this to happen to the fullest extent, we must have chaos, partial martial law, and then survival of the fittest.
Really? So that's why inflation since 1913 averages 45+% a year? That why one can't just save, but must INVEST to try and outpace the decrease in annual buying power? That's why spendable wages are not keeping up anywhere with the cost of living? That's why 4000-6000% of American's wealth has been off-shored to via the IMF/UN international development funds? That's why America is going down the proverbial tubes?
Don't buy that BULLSHIT!
Americans have been USED for 100 years to make the whole WORLD a bunch of helpless, loser consumers dependent on an oil based economy.
That's why we are going in exactly to OPPOSITE direction here. They'll get little from us in our lifetime.
Perhaps we worry for no good reasons? Perhaps our definition of "rational" no longer applies in economics? If the US controls the board in the world currency game, can nothing touch them? Logically, this makes no sense to believe that the Fed can push an extra TRILLION dollars, or more, into circulation every year, and have no consequences, but that seems to be the reality for now.
Can anyone find a credible economist who addresses EXACTLY why the Fed and the US cannot just print dollars forever? Even if unemployment goes to 50%, why can't they simply put everyone on welfare programs and print more dollars? Does it matter what the NUMBER is for how much the US is IN DEBT -- 17 trillion, 25 trillion, 50 trillion, 1,000 trillion? Does it even matter?
I know it SOUNDS ludicrous, but those holding the purse strings seem to believe this IS possible. They FEEL untouchable as long as they have that pesky monopoly printing machine. And as irritating as it is, it seems to be working pretty well for the KINGS in DC, doesn't it?
Is this guy 100% right?

When someone asks, "How can the gov't continue to let the country go down the tubes?" or "How can they bicker and let bad things keep happening?" -- I simply keep reminding people that "our elected officials" in the House EACH get a $1.2 - $1.6 MILLION stipend of taxpayer money to help them do their job, and EACH one in the Senate dips their sociopath hand in the same taxpayer bucket for $2.6 - $4.9 MILLION EACH! If you had that much GUARANTEED, tax-free income, plus your $170,000+ salary and only God knows the perks from big business on top of all of this, would you be worried about ANYTHING happening to the sheeple?
The love of money is the root of all evil, and power corrupts. It's been the perfect storm for creating sociopaths and psychopaths in DC since they figured out they could rig the system in their favor many years ago.
Think about it. If you had a cook, a personal trainer (if you wanted one), a dog trainer, a housekeeper, a chauffeur, a bill reader, a speech writer, a bodyguard or two, important people calling constantly wanting favors and willing to give you all sorts of crap to get them, and a dozen interns, most 30-50 years younger than you and willing to rub your feet and any other body parts you designate just to keep their jobs, what would your state of mind be? Would you begin to think you were a king above all of the small people in the country? Would you live in your head in another realm?
Televangelist Asks God For Military Takeover Of The U.S. Government (VIDEO)
http://newsone.com/2736044/rick-joyner-military-takeover/
I know the adage goes “let him who is without sin, cast the first stone,” but some people deserve to be written a ticket to damnation…with the greatest sin being utter stupidity. Meet televangelist Rick Joyner (pictured), who recently made headlines for openly praying to God for a military takeover of the U.S. government. While appearing on ”Prophetic Perspective on Current Events,” Joyner claimed that democracy in America has failed and that the nation might not last even to the end of President Barack Obama‘s term.
Why not?
Well, according to Rev. Crazy Town, America is teetering toward tyranny. You know, that rascally Black in the White House won’t let go of power because he’s like Hitler or something.
Enter Joyner’s prayer, which pleads to God to save us — or well, those who look like him – from dark ”forces” that are “at work right now to undermine and destroy the republic.” If you let him tell it, ”our only hope is a military takeover; martial law.”
I’ve wasted God’s time praying for many a silly thing. Say, that one day Beyoncé and I will sit in a hotel suite, eat Popeye’s, and sip wealthy people’s liquor as we discuss her starring in a movie of my creation. I imagine God gives me a side-eye whenever this prayer enters the universe, but thanks to Joyner, I now realize there are far more annoying heathens.
What exactly is going on that is so terrible in Washington that you pray to God for a government takeover? A health care plan that looks like one drafted by Republicans more than a decade ago?

I mean, I could see forming a prayer circle to send Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to the Spike Channel and out of the Senate, but other than that, I’m a bit lost.
The initial clip was taken down from YouTube, but things on the Internet never truly go away. So Joyner was forced to address his controversial statements, “I did not plan for that program to be aired just as a government shutdown began.” Still, he claims, America is now sailing deeper and deeper in to these most-treacherous seas. “Also, after his prayers are answered, “Not only will our Republic be restored, but even more importantly, America will turn back to the Lord and fulfill our destiny and purpose.”
Exploiting indigenous people and African slaves in the name of greed and power? Can Rick Joyner get an amen? No? Okay, let’s move on.
Joyner ended the statement by repeating the declaration that caused all of the drama to begin with:
That being said, without a soon and very radical turn back to what we were called to be as a nation, we are going to pass through a time of martial law in America. The crucial issue is who the martial [sic] is going to be. This could be a very difficult time, much darker than we can probably imagine, or it could be a time when peace and stability is restored, and the Republic is restored to its Constitutional moorings. That choice is up to Americans.
As much as I’d love to dismiss the likes of Rick Joyner as some kooky, overly religious, fringe element of the Christian right, the reality is there are plenty of people in the Republican Party who share the fears that President Obama won’t let go of power. In fact, they are the majority.
From an October 2013 Public Policy Polling report:
One in four Americans say that President Obama is secretly trying to figure out a way to stay in office beyond 2017 – including almost half of Republicans (44 percent). And 26 percent of Americans think that Muslims are covertly implementing Sharia Law in American court systems, while 55 percent don’t think so and another 19 percent aren’t sure. There’s a huge partisan breakdown on this one as well – 42 percent of Republicans fear Sharia Law making its way into America’s courts while just 12 percent of Democrats agree.
Looks like I’ll be praying for the nation too.

QUESTION OF THE YEAR?
If the Fed needs to keep printing $1 extra Trillion a year to keep everything held up, why do they not simply print enough to pay off ALL the debt at one time? This way, the country basically owes itself, and they would not have to pay any interest on the debt or worry about rising interest rates and having to manipulate to keep them so low? Wouldn't this allow them to mess with interest rates in certain areas to stimulate things, without the worry of having to meet higher interest payments? They have already printed several extra Trillion, so what's a bit more to just end the debt?
Obviously, this plan would only work if they stop spending more than they take in, but what's the flaw in this plan? I'm feeling my age on this one and may be slipping a bit. What are the upsides and downsides of this plan, and why has no one thought of it previously?

Yea, basic money 101....debits got to equal credits! ALORE...
The new IHUB format sucks! But not as badly as the ball-LESS wimps in the Republican Party! They KNOW that Barry will REFUSE to negotiate on ANY spending cuts that are actual cuts, so giving in 1 inch makes them all pu$$%#$ (pardon my language, but no other word fits what they act like).
These psychopaths actually believe that reducing the amount they OVER-spend is a cut! How ludicrous is this? It's like a guy makes $5,000 a month at his job, and the first month he spends $10,000. His wife says, "Honey, we have to make some drastic cuts in our budget and spending, or our children we will be screwing BADLY!" To which he replies, because he THINKS like a President or a Congressman, "Okay, next month, I will cut $1,000 out of my budget and spending, even though that is a drastic cut for me, I'll only spend $9,000! But I love my children, so I am willing to sacrifice!"
This is exactly what Barry and Congress have been doing for years, but it's even worse, because they actually call a reduction in the INCREASES they spend, to compensate for inflation, CUTS as well! It bears repeating how they are sociopaths and psychopaths, much less MORONS!
Barry actually brags about reducing his OVER-spending from a TRILLION something to about 800 BILLION. It's STILL FREAKING OVER-spending!!!! What is wrong with these morons???
If the spineless Republicans had any balls at all, they would say, "Since you refuse to negotiate unless a crisis is at hand, then as badly as we hate it, we will force you to negotiate down to where we are only spending what we take in! And we will NOT approve ANY portion of the Federal Gov't to be paid until YOU come to the table seriously ready to CUT -- and not just reduce INCREASES! That means police, firemen, schools, medicare, and everything will go UNPAID until YOU step up and act like a leader with a brain that thinks and cares for the future generations!"
I guarantee you, that with no one getting paid, they would reach a balanced budget in 7 days, and that 7-day delay would not hurt the country or any person at all.
But we will never see it, because when it comes right down to it, they ALL fear losing their BILLIONAIRE lifestyle job, courtesy of the American taxpayer, so they will keep OVER-spending until the country implodes.
I'll go puke now.
http://johngaltfla.com/wordpress/2013/10/09/americas-night-of-the-long-knives/
In 5 years, there will be such a doctor shortage that healthcare in the country, for the 80% who DID have health insurance and great care, will go to TOTAL CRAP, while the 20% that Barry and Congress used as the EXCUSE for this monstrosity -- because THEY (the slime in DC) have wavers to OPT OUT of this total garbage -- will see perhaps a bit more CONVENIENCE by not having to go to the emergency room for everything. BUT, even the 20%'s care will DROP to CRAP as doctors are forced out of this business.
There will still be a group of great doctors and hospitals, unfortunately for 99% of Americans, they will all be located in DC for the ruling elite who convinced the moron sheeple to champion this TOTAL CRAP OF A SYSTEM for HEALTHCARE.
This is as smart as saying the debt ceiling is off the table and must always be raised. It ONLY makes sense to those who don't give a tinker's damn for the people who will inherit what the sociopaths and psychopaths leave behind . . . oh, and MORONS as well, which now make up, based on IQ, about 53% of the population.
Obama Stumbles Despite Friendly Press
This afternoon President Obama gave a brief statement on the government shutdown, said nothing new, and received a warm collective embrace from the press, who made sure not to ask him about the disastrous ObamaCare rollout. And yet, perhaps out of exhaustion or a case of the second-term blues, Obama managed to accidentally say something worth quoting at the tail end of the Q and A.
The president was asked if he had any regrets about his 2011 budget deal with House Speaker John Boehner, and how the present political dynamics would have to change going forward. In his response, Obama actually touched on a popular critique Republicans have deployed recently, which is Obama’s hypocrisy for his past opposition to raising the debt ceiling, a tactic he and his allies now consider arson and hostage-taking when used by Republicans.
After first saying that he learned from the 2011 standoff that the country cannot come that close to “default” again, the president said this:
And by the way, you know, I often hear people say, well, in the past it’s been dealt with all the time. The truth of the matter is, if you look at the history, people posture about the debt ceiling frequently, but the way the debt ceiling often got passed was, you’d stick the debt ceiling onto a budget negotiation once it was completed because people figured, well, I don’t want to take a bunch of tough votes to cut programs or raise taxes and then also have to take a debt ceiling vote; let me do it all at once.
But it wasn’t a situation in which, you know what, if I don’t get what I want, then I’m going to let us default. That’s what’s changed. And that’s what we learned in 2011.
When Obama opposed raising the debt ceiling, he was just posturing the way people do “frequently.” In other words, when Obama makes a speech on policy he doesn’t actually believe what he’s saying; he just thinks enough of the voters will like his message. Obama is not, Obama says, to be taken literally. They are just words.
The other interesting nugget in that paragraph was the part where Obama said that in the past the debt ceiling was easier to sneak through without the public noticing until it was decoupled from omnibus spending bills. The thought process of America’s elected politicians, Obama explained approvingly, was: “I don’t want to take a bunch of tough votes to cut programs or raise taxes and then also have to take a debt ceiling vote.”
The Obama campaign seems to have calculated correctly that “Obama: Change we can believe in” would make a snappier bumper sticker slogan than “Obama: I don’t want to take a bunch of tough votes.” (The latter would also draw attention to his predilection as senator to vote “present.”)
This exchange took place after CBS’s Mark Knoller asked the president why he doesn’t support passing bills to fund important priorities while these non-negotiations drag on. Aren’t you tempted, Knoller asked Obama, to sign bipartisan bills that fund programs you support? “Of course I’m tempted,” Obama responded, “because you’d like to think that you could solve at least some of the problem if you couldn’t solve all of it.” Well yes, that does seem to be the point. This may seem reasonable, Obama said, but don’t be fooled. It’s a trap:
But here’s the problem. What you’ve seen are bills that come up where wherever Republicans are feeling political pressure, they put a bill forward. And if there’s no political heat, if there’s no television story on it, then nothing happens. And if we do some sort of shotgun approach like that, then you’ll have some programs that are highly visible get funded and reopened, like national monuments, but things that don’t get a lot of attention, like those SBA loans, not being funded.
You see, by funding uncontroversial and broadly popular programs while not automatically funding everything else, the Republicans are trying to trick the government into setting priorities, building bipartisan coalitions, and engaging the public in how to spend their tax money. Obama seemed to think this was self-evidently foolish, which tells you much about what the president thinks of the taxpayers.
Then the president added, almost as an afterthought: “And you know, we don’t get to select which programs we implement or not.” Since Obama chooses which parts of which laws he wants to implement and enforce at will, as if Congress were a supercommittee brainstorming ideas rather than a coequal branch passing laws, I’m guessing he would explain that he is again being take too literally when he’s obviously just posturing. Now he tells us.

IMPORTANT
Read this part again, and ask yourself why you would support a man/party who blatantly thinks it FOOLISH to "engage the public in how to spend their tax money?" It's FOOLISH because they don't look at the money they STEAL from you as YOURS, but it is THEIRS, and you OWE THEM! They are NOT public SERVANTS but rather public dictators and thieves!
"You see, by funding uncontroversial and broadly popular programs while not automatically funding everything else, the Republicans are trying to trick the government into setting priorities, building bipartisan coalitions, and engaging the public in how to spend their tax money. Obama seemed to think this was self-evidently foolish, which tells you much about what the president thinks of the taxpayers."
Here it is again, for those not familiar with the robbery. You think these sociopaths only receive a taxpayer-provided salary of $174,000 (more for "leaders")???? Nooooo. EACH one sucks another $1.2 MILLION to $4.6 MILLION from taxpayers EACH! Let that sink in! EACH! Do the math on how much money you would have to have in a bank, at current, guaranteed interest rates of .01-.05% to RECEIVE this much in SPENDING money. Hint -- they live like BILLIONAIRES on the backs of the taxpayers. They think themselves so far above the sheeple, it's not even funny. 7 of the 10 wealthiest counties in the country are in DC! Now you know why. Congress is made up of sultans and sheiks living like they have BILLIONS in the bank . . . and THEY DO, but it's YOUR money! These clowns truly believe, like Rush Limbaugh, that they have "talent on loan from God," and it's disgusting.
In the House of Representatives, each person receives a Members' Representational Allowance (MRA).
In 2012, individual representatives received MRA allowances ranging from $1,270,129 to $1,564,613, with an average of $1,353,205.13.
Most of each member's annual MRA allowance is used to pay their office personnel. In 2012, for example, the office personnel allowance for each member was $944,671.
Each member is allowed to use their MRA to employ up to18 full time, permanent employees and up to four part time or temporary employees. The annual salary of any employee of a member of the House of Representatives is currently limited to $168,411 (in 2013).
The Senate is EVEN WORSE. They call their slush fund the Senators' Official Personnel and Office Expense Account (SOPOEA).
In the fiscal year 2013 legislative branch appropriations bill, the size of the average Senate SOPOEA allowance is $3,209,103, with individual accounts ranging from $2,960,716 to $4,685,632, depending on the population of the senators' states.
Nice article...."death and taxes" come to mind. Politicians are a joke; nothing but a slimly double standard. Maybe they'll enjoy another week off?
Side note: Still amazing the NFL is a non-profit and tax payers fund buildings... unreal.
THE TRUTH -- WHY DON'T AMERICANS ELECT ALL NEW CONGRESS?

Current Internet version, which adds additional truth, although not all Reese's words:
Be sure to read the Tax List at the end.
This is about as clear and easy to understand as it can be. The article below is completely neutral, neither anti-republican or democrat. Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel, has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day. It's a short but good read. Worth the time. Worth remembering!
545 vs. 300,000,000 People
-By Charlie Reese
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.. ( The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.)
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House?( John Boehner. He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. ) If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. [The House has passed a budget but the Senate has not approved a budget in over three years. The President's proposed budgets have gotten almost unanimous rejections in the Senate in that time. ]
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ...
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.
Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses. Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees... We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What in the heck happened? Can you spell 'politicians?'
I hope this goes around THE USA at least 545 times!!! YOU can help it get there!!!

ObamaCare website crashes day #1... still down. Wonder why no one even thought they would have a significant amount of web traffic, even just to check it out... What a solid plan they have created...
Typical liberal. They refuse to answer questions they CAN'T answer, and they interrupt and act like mindless babies when they are cornered. This is how they will ALL act if the question is put to them over and over about WHY DO THEY EXEMPT THE PRESIDENT AND THEMSELVES IF OBAMACARE IS SO GREAT?

Welcome! Read, and learn something while you are here -- PLEASE!
This psychopathic and sociopath group in DC began the healthcare issue with ONE goal -- a federally run, SINGLE payer system. They KNOW that the under 40, healthy will pay the stupid penalty. The sickly will get their almost free healthcare and instead of using the emergency rooms rarely, will now use their Obamacard and Obamaphone to make doctor's appointments almost daily. This influx will break private insurance at some point, and then we have 100% socialized, BS, crappy, veterinarian medicine in the USSA -- for everyone, that is, EXCEPT those at the very top and those in DC. They are SPECIAL and born of gods, unlike the peon sheeple, who they enjoy manipulating, controlling, spying on, and eventually deciding when they live and die. It stinks, but that's the reality. Get used to living in AmeriKa, because it's here. The FED keeps pumping the stock market through everything, because those calling the shots -- the .01% -- MUST stay in control and MUST keep living the billionaire lifestyle while they laugh at the inferior sheeple. Disgusting.
Government shut down; pay checks still on.
