Absurd amounts of wash trading continue. But I'm impressed with how high these folks can manipulate this stock! Good luck for whoever is doing it that nobody is watching for this sort of abuse.

This one has not run up nearly as much as the other EV related stocks, some of the others are up over sixty percent, this could turn into a big gapper Monday, that numb nut fliptards would miss out on.
Wow. Nearly hit $4 on the strength of some industrial strength wash trading.
I need to get this wash-trader involved with all the rest of my small-caps!
Yep, understand. Though it is doing what I need to do. Almost to my target of 3.21. Maybe their 16th ER can help them a bit as well.
This is an extremely manipulated stock these days. Sometimes the volume is 10 or more times the total number of shares available to trade, suggesting there is a considerable amount of wash trading.
Caveat emptor.
That random pop to 3.03 pre-market?
When the folks who are manipulating this aren't wash trading the living daylights out of it, the price sinks like a stone.
The average share in the float traded 25 times yesterday. My guess is that probably half of the shares didn't trade at all and the rest changed hands (or went from one account to a different account) maybe 50 times.
Why I can see this and the SEC cannot is a mystery. But anyone buying into this company based on all of these wash trades should brace themselves for watching half of their investment disappear.
Strong afternoon and close and even afterhours. Came back to nearly flat just before after market trading ended at 7 PM CST

Fair enough. So, let's say that every shareholder of POLA got up this morning and sold their shares. How do you explain the other 46M in volume?
The buyers must have then sold. And then the buyers of those shares much have sold.
Even if there are zero long-term holders left, with every single last share in the float being in play today, there is still the question of how each share has been traded an average of 10 times.
Institutional players and long term holders trade stocks, too! You can't find reality while being dismissive of extremely important players on the field of stocks. We are all in this to make money!
Have you looked at the number of trades occurring? Not even stocks like Microsoft trade this fast. They've done 44M or whatever and many of the trades are odd lots -- 33, 41, 70, 100, 100, 200, 15, 72, 100, 100. All separated by fractions of a second.
This is not right.
Best of luck.
POLA was a pretty big position for me. Then they really struggled. Then I averaged down. And then this group started doing this stuff and I emerged with a small profit. I've very thankful that they broke the law in a way that helped me. But...
No kidding!! I just bought MORE at $3.06.....
and it's RUNNING again!!!!
WooooHoooo
What I want to know is who is doing this -- because I want to get in on the ground floor for the next stock they manipulate!
And now the volume has doubled again just since my reply to your post.
WTF???
It has now traded nearly TEN TIMES THE FLOAT.
If this was a rumor, then some people who know the rumor would be buying and others would be selling. But here we have the buyers immediately turning around to sell back to the sellers, back and forth and back and forth.
Realistically, there probably are only about 2M shares of POLA that are at play -- the rest being held by institutions or longer-term investors.
So, how does a stock with 2M shares that trade do 42M in volume?
Something isn't right here.
Know You prolly seen this...
BUT it FITS my theory of charging stations:
Description
Polar Power, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells direct current (DC), power generators, renewable energy, and cooling systems in the United States and internationally. It offers DC base power systems, DC hybrid power systems, and DC solar hybrid power systems. The company serves telecommunications, military, electric vehicle charging, cogeneration, distributed power, and uninterruptable power supply markets It sells its products through direct sales force, and a network of independent service providers and dealers. The company was formerly known as Polar Products, Inc. and changed its name to Polar Power, Inc. in October 1991. Polar Power, Inc. was founded in 1979 and is based in Gardena, California.
Been hearing about the installs of "Charging Stations" across America for EVs.
Could be POLA is one of them.....
THAT would be SO COOL!!!
Hope it pumps to $10 bucks today, Some sort of Government Contract that’s the word I believe
POLA has now traded FIVE TIMES ITS ENTIRE FLOAT.
Take care. This sort of bizarre trading started back when POLA issued a bunch of shares. This is not normal. It is illegal manipulation and I suspect that the goal is to pump up the price to unload those shares.
The PPS should probably be a good bit lower -- more like under $2. Company has interesting products, but cannot manage to produce and sell them.
So, there is reason for extreme caution here.
IN POLA....WOW the Vol. is NUTTS!!!
POLA has traded 400% of its float already today.
Wash sale. Someone with 2 accounts is trading back and forth between them at a pace that indicates the use of computer algorithms.

POLA trades 4.7 MILLION. No way there are that many to trade. This is wash trading, and they ran it up over $4 before closing at $3.70.
Amazing situation. No way this is real. Great product, but no sales and no volume. Tiny company trying to make 10 or 20 different products, and they are just too small to earn a profit. But some people got shares and with some manipulation they can price it wherever they want.
I’m out since yesterday $1,200 flip and that’s it GL
You said you were in to the tune of "$$$". I hope you scaled that back a couple dollar signs, at least.
This has become a strange, manipulated, pump and dump stock. It used to hardly trade, with people holding for long-term growth. Now any given share might trade hands 30-100 times in a day. That's just not right.
Yep today was insane for sure.
Caveat emptor. They are a long way from making a profit. And it is a wee bit fishy when the volume so vastly exceeds the number of shares in the float.
Good point. Thanks.
The thing is that POLA pin action doesn't explain a stock trading 4X or 5X its float in one day. Plus, I sort of doubt that the trading involved institutional holders or some of the long-term folks. So what you have is probably 500K or 1M shares getting wash-traded back and forth 20+ times per day.
That's manipulation, albeit perhaps driven by pin action as you indicate.
SPI went crazy yesterday. Looks like POLA and SUNW are the pin action.
I keep watching POLA. Not sure why, since I'm entirely out of it. But I find it sort of amazing that it routinely trades multiples of its float. And now whoever is wash-trading the daylights out of this has it jacked all the way up to $5 again (pre-market).
Any thoughts?
4M shares in the POLA float, and today it has traded 22M.
I wonder what percentage of those trades are illegal wash trades? I'm guessing well over 95%.
I guess the regulators have other things to worry about today. By tomorrow, this will be old news.
POLA going to see another 1M in wash trading today?
The stock barely trades 10K for years and then all of a sudden volumes spike up to crazy levels.
Good think markets aren't rigged!
Volume here remains artificially high. No way there is really 200K worth of actual people buying and selling. Wash trading.
The question I have is whether we can depend on manipulation to run this back up at some point. Maybe try to buy at $1.30 and then sell when it doubles?
Wadi
The folks who bought POLA's recently-issued shares seem desperate to unload them. I know that I would be.
No reason this isn't trading down near $1. Company was headed there prior to the pandemic, and the pandemic certainly hasn't helped. Only a raft of promotion and wash-trading is keeping this up at these levels.

No carlos slim lol better yet warren buffet
Think Carl Icahn might be loading up here
Sub dollar coming here in a week glad I sold months back near 5 bucks
The only reason it is still at this level is that there's a lot of manipulative wash trading going on. POLA does not normally trade 200K shares -- much less the many millions it traded that one glorious day.
The power play is over this one is done till next pump
No reason whatsoever why POLA wouldn't hit new lows. CEO Sams will eventually decide that he needs to sell the company to a larger enterprise that has the scale to really bring Sam's dreams to fruition. Until then, this will be a story of a tremendous product, a massive addressable market, and a puny order book. Or, Sams doesn't need to sell the whole thing -- maybe co-brand one of the products. But do something other than just bang his head into the same wall day after day. I admire his grit, but I realized a long time ago that POLA was going to need a whole lot more than that.
