JBI losing +$1.5 MILLION/month.
SEC suing JBI for securities and accounting fraud.
Borydnuiks story about having a magic catalyst that can convert plastic to fuel for a total cost of $10.00/bbl appears to be a fraudulent lie.
Only way JBI goes cash flow positive is if they hire a competent CEO who doesn't commit fraud, and change their business plan from a stock-printing scam to a legitimate business that can do something (anything) profitably.
Once JBI goes cash flow positive the shares will start zooming up.
It is getting closer every day, FEED THE BEASTS!!!!
How can a daily show have 1000 shows in a year?
JBI aired on a daily show (with 1,000 shows likely this year alone)
Excellent video. Thanx for link guys. Longer than I imagined. Just the beginning of media.
And that's the last of the positive media coming, right?
Uh huh.
Get ready for all heaven to break loose. :)
Yes, we've established that the one segment on JBI aired on a daily show (with 1,000 shows likely this year alone) which aired only on a Canadian (eh) cable station which is only connected to the U.S. cable network through minority ownership.
There has been a greater positive response to some blog articles on JBI, eh. Too funny.
Appearing in Daily Planet is a non-event for JBI.
The Market agrees.
That's why the PPS of JBII is continuing to plummet.
ROFL!!!! SEC IS part of the Federal Government.
They use the Federal Courts to prosecute companies and individuals for STOCK FRAUD. Furthermore the JBI Litigation was first announced January 4th, 2012.
ROFL!!!! The Daily Planet IS part of the Discovery Channel all day long. They are broadcast from "Discovery Studios" which is OWNED by the Discovery Channel. Furthermore....
"Daily Planet first aired on January 1, 1995, the same day as the premiere of Discovery Channel Canada, under the name @discovery.ca...."
Nothing to do with each other? ROFL!!! Not only did they both launch at the same exact date, but the original name of the show was the Discovery Channel Canada'a WEB ADDRESS lol
"Riskin hails from Edmonton, and is delighted to be returning home to Canada from the U.S. to work on DAILY PLANET and for Discovery Channel Canada."

As well as disgorge ill gotten gains. It seems to me that creating a P2O machine from scratch would cost money. It implies that JB took the cash and pocketed it. Highly unlikely. Could you imagine have many times you would assemble P2O. Then say...this could be better. Disassemble the processor...add a new part or process....assemble....test...and repeat.
Disgorged I'll gotten gains...please. The money clearly went into creating and modifying processor number#1.
I do think Martin Healy needs to visit the plant and speak with the pipe holders.
Right on the money, Steady......It's all a lot of silliness and speculation, between now and the point at which the Q numbers are released.....I know where my bet is.....Just bettin'.....
5dollars
I also noticed the word "purported". It suggests that the SEC does dot adopt a neutral stance.
Well the reason we all love the Discover Channel segment on JBI is because we were all told that mainstream media would NEVER air anything about a "fake" company like JBI.
And now that camera's were inside the "fake" plant and indeed DID air a segment on JBI we're hearing this.
"who cares about an appearance on a daily Canadian show...."
Thats rich.
wow....just wow.
Absolutely and completely dead wrong.
Don't forget that it was also covered on PBS both web and Radio broadcasting. That is aired across the US of A.
Many other blogs and web sites pick up content from PBS as well.
So many more people are aware of the technology now, I guess if I heard the radio I may not remember the company name but marketing has to start somewhere and this was agreat week and great timing as they are in 24x7 production now.
you have to start somewhere, discovery channel will have to do for now. more will come just because converting plastic to fuel with low emissions is a pretty big deal.
its kind of like saying i cant believe you guys are making a big deal that jbi is selling fuel to a fortune 100 company when it should have been the top ten.
The issue is audience. Discovery Channel is a cable network with a limited audience to begin with, except for some of their specialty shows like "World's Deadliest".
DC Canada is even smaller and separate from the US operation.
The show JBI had a segment on is a daily show and JBI was one segment,
Viewership is likely to be very small and clearly has not driven in the hordes of new investors envisioned by some.
Discovery Channel Canada, and Discovery Channel, are two different entities with different ownership. Best not to confuse the two.
Regarding opinions about the clip, who cares about an appearance on a daily Canadian show that's aimed at entertaining the lay public about techy things?
The SEC's opinion that Bordynuik is a liar and a crook, based on a lengthy and thorough investigation of all JBI's business and accounting details, should give potential investors far more pause than anything to do with Bordynuik's appearance on a hokey Canadian-content program.
I've seen this sentiment twice now.
Why is is that there is a stigma attached to Discovery Channel Canada? Can you explain that to me? How does that make it less viable? Or what would Discovery Channel USA bring that Canada doesn't? Some type of fact-checkers that Canada can't afford? I'm dead serious, I guess I just don't get the issue with it being Discovery Channel Canada.
Anyhow, last post of the day. I'd definitely appreciate something other than a scoff and laugh. You definitely bring up some good points at times.
What time was it when it aired in the Middle East?
Who cares? But it aired in Canada in PRIME TIME and was viewed by millions.
Yes, only once. We don't care, the segment isn't going to do anything for the stock, increasing rev's will do that.
tic toc....
EDIT: Well actually it will replay who knows how many times. They always replay everything numerous times on mainstream cable these days.
WOW! MAINSTREAM!! And they said it would never happen.
YEP. I agree with you JBI was featured on the Discovery Channel....was a great show to boot....here's the video to it....very informative...just informin'
So? You are saying this is a bad thing?
Discovery Channel CANADA. ROFLMAO.
And one segment in a daily show.
What time was it when it aired in the Middle East? Too funny.
the numbers are coming... there has been plenty of evidence from the company and from posters that tankers have been going in and out of the p2o facility. numbers are next up imo
JBII on Discovery Channel
Anyhow ...
I just learned of the clip. Just watched it. And the thing I like most of all is when they brought in the consultant from the Plastics industry. Here’s some quotes:
"the platic's industry is paying very close attention to what JBI is doing"
"this is a big deal. this could be the final piece for the sustainability puzzle for plastics"
I love that big money ("plastics industry") has their eye on this.
I'm actually interested in some non-pumped opinions.
Link just for haha's: http://watch.discoverychannel.ca/#clip641572
An example from my super-skeptical friend:
You are correct they WERE on the Daily Planet show featured on the Discovery Channel. I just watched it again. SIMPLY AMAZING!
We sure have come a long way from the table top model of a few years ago.
I strongly suggest anyone that hasn't seen the segment to give it a watch.
I'm going to add more shares.
I'm beginning to see a pattern here. Is it just me?
No. I can confirm the same pattern.
Absurd. JBII's process was featured on THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL! If you turned your tv to THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL, JBII's process was on there.
Case closed.
Naw, the segment was featured on "Daily Planet" a one hour daily magazine television show. Daily Planet is featured on the "Discovery Channel" in Canada only.
It's a bit like claiming that Ted's Gardening Show is featured on NBC, when it's only featured on a local NBC affiliate channel. Then gardener-Ted has guest-gardener "Jim Jones" on for a 5 min segment on how to spread manure.
You are correct that JBI was featured on the Discovery Channel. And what an amazing segment it was too.
When the volume is low, JBI is called an illiquid stock. When the volume starts to go up someone is dumping JBI stock.
When the share price goes up, there is a pumping operation at work.
When the share price goes down, the end is near and the price will be a penny next week.
I'm beginning to see a pattern here. Is it just me?
What I see is a stock with increasing volume on a month over month basis. A stock trading in a range with slight drift downward with upward spikes in volume and price as accumulation takes place according to the charts.
JBI is a news driven stock until there are substantial increases in revenues. Of course that increase in revenues will be big news.
1st quarter Q is due in about 6 weeks.
Tic Tok
"...the only thing holding us back is numbers..."
Thats what its all about. The only thing holding any company back are the numbers.
Some of the numbers holding this back are:
A number between $1.2-$1.5 million a month in losses
A miniscule number of barrels of fuel / emulsion / goo prduced in an entire year
A number of charges leveled by the SEC in Federal Court
A pervasive number of uncertainties in the company books and internal controls that resulted in an adverse opinion by the auditor in the last 10K
Uncertainties in the numbers of processors and when and if more will ever be built
The unknown number of dollars in disgorgement and penalties the SEC will get
The number of years that JB may be barred from a director position
The variable total number of shares that will be issued in PIPE deals
You are correct that JBI was featured on the Discovery Channel. And what an amazing segment it was too.
Here's a link to it in case anyone hasn't watched it yet. Thanks again for reminding me to post it.
http://watch.discoverychannel.ca/daily-planet/march-2012/daily-planet---march-20-2012/#clip641572
Wrong. JBI was on Discovery Channel Canada . That's a different entity than Discovery Channel. Furthermore, JBI's appearance was in a show that appears only in Canada, and Canadian networks are required to include Canadian content.
"Although much of Discovery's programming is shared with its American counterpart, the Canadian channel has separate ownership and produces much of its own programming as well. Most notably, the channel produces a daily science news program, Daily Planet. "
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discovery_Channel_%28Canada%29
here is my take...
i have been buying the crap out of this for about 17 months with an average cost of todays current price. if i would have known i could wait for all the verification since my first purchase and still be able to buy at my average cost i would have waited. alot of proof out there that this company could eventually be a monster. the only thing holding us back is numbers and they are next up imo
That CE will be there until the JBI and the SEC settle.
Share dilution will be coming to a halt as the company becomes CFP in the near future.
The transition from a development stage company to a production stage company is happening at this very moment.
I suspect this applies to many people here.
Is this analysis explaining the recent share dumping?
I confess, I have a lot of trouble following the narrative
I don't have a source - I was merely going off Rawnoc's post that had a mention of 3 tankers a week.
So really we don't have any data on how much product is being shipped other than making assumptions about how often they are running 24x7 based on the 10-K.
Still not enough meat here for me to bite on. I'll probably end up paying $2+ a share - but I'd rather do that than have dead money sitting around waiting for more permits, machines shut down to build more machines, etc...
And then the Beasts can feed at cruising speed of 400lb ph. Niagara falls site 12,000 lbs ph minus the %25 downtime. $$$$
here are some observations on your math, perhpas you will review your numbers:
3 tankers a week - what source do you have for that? - hearing from eye witnesses of multiple per day and who knows how many at night?
Multiple per day means say 15 per week x 8800 x 3.75 (more realistic price per gallon) = $500k per week, (I guess should really do for #6 oil per barrel but I get so frustrated by an industry that cannt settle on one unit of measure.)
As for 24x7 that is what they are running at - did you not read the 10K? explained there exactly what the running was - 24x7 with 36 hours downtime for maintenance a month - that includes cool down (16 hours) and warm up (8 hours).
So so long as there are multiple tankers a day AS REPORTED they are making $500k a week or $20m year allowing for downtime. from 2 processors or $10m per year from one.
oh that was *smooth*

Rawnoc is correct as usual....JBI has 2 machines up and running in full commercial production with the 3rd one being assembled....i don't need my Mensa card to figure out what this is going to do to the bottom line....just mensain'
Answered a hundred times over......happening NOW.....and increasing NOW....and will show on the Q 1 and Q 2......clear enough...?????
Whats taking the New York DEC so long to issue a new SOLID WASTE permit???
First, JBI would have to apply for the amendment. As we've seen before, when a new application is made, it is posted on the NYS DEC's site, usually the same day.
So far, no posting of an amended SWP application.

MASSIVE FUEL SALES -- TELL ME WHEN
These massive fuel sales will show up as P2O revenue on a company filing
Its really a simple question that should have a very somple direct answer.
"From non-recycled plastics to liquid gold, it's a beautiful thing. Plastics industry is paying very close attention to what JBI is doing."
"This is a big deal. This could be the final piece of the sustainability puzzle for plastics."
~~Greg Wilkenson, Plastic Industry Consultant
Yes , you are correct, Whats taking the New York DEC so long to issue a new SOLID WASTE permit???
Do you mean the NYDEC?
