Can't wait till we here more about the concert this week!!
Spanish River and PhoneGuard, has been working with various companies, groups, communities, sports figures, politicians, musicians, and entertainers who have been anxious to lend their support and time to this important cause, and be on hand championing the event.
There are numerous celebrities that will be doing shout-out’s for the public service announcement that will play during the event. Students, their parents, and everyone involved, will be asked to visit www.takethepledge.tv to join major recording artists, sports figures, politicians, and celebrities, in support of this cause, and be a part of the launching of the first ever PPV music festival, Rock for Life, a new national Student-Sponsored Music Festival, with the goal of supporting major life-changing causes
Thanks Al and also very important in that PR;
No school can afford not to be a part, not only for the awareness of students and parents, but to receive a future benefit of the proceeds for the school.
Tragic video but hanks for posting tutter.
RE:
I dont know if you guys got this on the news over there or not. An Ozzie long haul truck driver decided to take distracted driving to a new level. When police stopped the driver, to find out why he was weaving back and forth across the road, they found he had a 32" monitor attached to his dash.
Now theres a guy that really needs to consider downloading PhoneGuard.
DM it was in an email I recieved take the Video the way you want, Go OPMG!!!!! Tut
Please provide a link that has evidence that this horrific accident was caused by distracted drive. If you can't, the video should be removed. Based on what I saw on the video, the driver lost control on the snowy, icy road.
You provide no proof that the driver took their eye off the road for a split second. The likelihood is that OPMG/PhoneGuard would not have prevented this accident at all....IMO.
What you think the HS kids put this concert together without any help?
Sure they did!
Per your pm yes I agree with you CJ I just ran out of posts last night. That feeling you are getting is virtue as our patience is finally going to pay off very very soon!!
Thanks for spreading the PG word in your industry! Nice job

The student leadership by sponsoring an event that brings together thousands of schools and millions of students across the nation, in one combined voice to save lives of their classmates.
Our goal is to raise awareness about the dangers of texting and driving among teens, parents, and all drivers,
as well as, offer a solution to help curb the habit.
Spanish River and PhoneGuard, has been working with various companies, groups, communities, sports figures, politicians, musicians, and entertainers who have been anxious to lend their support and time to this important cause, and be on hand championing the event.

expect any donations raised from this event will aid Jr. and High Schools, and will provide much needed funds to raise awareness, support recently cut programs, and help reduce financial shortfalls.
We are grateful to PhoneGuard and all our supporters for their incredible contribution and partnerships. We will use every available means at our disposal to send our shared message across the country,
Justin Bieber is in full support of ?No Texting While Driving? and continues to campaign with PhoneGuard and Remember Alex Brown Foundation (www.RememberAlexBrownFoundation.org) via interviews with local and national media, and news outlets…? stated event founder, Ross Brenner.
The Festival and the cause has the full support of Boca Raton Mayor Susan Whelchel and City Council, Boca Raton Police Department, U.S. Congressman Ted Deutch, State Representative Irv Slosberg,
The National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB), The Alex Brown Foundation, and regional Anti-texting groups in various parts of the country, including STANDD, TADD, SADD, amongst others. Various national and international businesses are supporting the cause and event, and will send out press releases as they come on board.

What is cooperative national radio? Do we know what station(s) to listen to?
Canceled my premium but yes CJ I agree 100% as it pertains to OPMG.
Your 100% right.
I can certainly wait until Monday to get more acurate concert information!!
Phoneguard will be at the head of the Class for this Epidemic..IMHO
WRONG... that is the CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT PAGE.. NOT THE STUDENT "I WON'T TEXT and DRIVE PLEDGE PAGE the pledge page is for student's .. WAIT UNTIL THEY GET "THE ROCK TO LIVE" [dead link 3rd from left..] PAGE DONE... PHONEGUARD and sponsors WILL BE THERE on THAT PAGE! as its the concert promo page.. LOL ...OPMG imho we roll
Bieber was never the face of "texting and driving" he is the face of "PhoneGuard".
Would you want your face on a billboard depicting a problem that kills 14 people a day?
Again Bieber is the face of the solution "PhoneGuard". I don't know who these other kids are but they are probably supposed to represent your average teenager that freely admits to texting and driving.
Do you really think they are going to bring all these kids together, educate them on them on this problem and not offer any solutions?
Which way does the wind blow. This is what OPMG investors want. For one of our Marketing avenues with highschool, it is a beautiful thing to see them as the face of this FUNDRAISER. It shows its real, with real problems and real kids. Bieber will play his roll, which is to bring more attention and keep it and get them to download. PhoneGuard being involved with such an event is, POWER. And power can be tricky, 4 stickies show that too. A movement is happening with kids in schools and Law Makers on the Hill. Throw PhoneGuard smack dab in the middle and Marketing will prevail. Money will be flowing into us, if not yet already.

RE:
I guess you didn't realize it was just from the pledge site page which was posted a while ago.
It's actually old.
Keep up the good work Knuckles, the new stuff will all be out Monday.
Gotta love it. One’s best success comes after their greatest disappointments.
— Henry Ward Beecher
It's in the PR
Yup just the pledge page...the buttons don't even work yet.
I'm sure they will be working by Monday. IMHO
NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ANY..THIS IS ONLY THE PLEDGE PAGE the old one has no PROMOTERS/PARTNERS either!..notice there is NO OTHER NAMES THERE EITHER?.... LOL..WOW!....OPMG imho WE ROLL
Did you notice at all that JBieber OR PhoneGuard is not being used by Spanish River in this link?
PhoneGuard was not there either!!!!!!!!! OMG.......I checked every link on that website, neither were to be found ANYWHERE!!!!!
It looks like the NEW FACE against texting and driving is Spanish River High School Students....and NOT the golden boy. I guess Spanish River was upset because after all their hard work they got dissed by the golden boy, he has been REMOVED from all their web pages......as well as PhoneGuard. I wonder if that is why OPMG stated the Spanish River Press Release was "Premature"????? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM
http://rock2livefest.com/theCause.aspx
http://www.takethepledge.tv/
Find Phoneguard OR JBieber anywhere on the 2 above links folks?????
THAT AINT GOOD!!!!! (for OPMG) or the PPS.....I think next week will be UGLYYYYYYYYYYY
The "NEW FACES" of the Movement Against Texting and Driving
(It used to be this)........
I read most posts, and maybe I have missed tnis one, but who owns tne option on Bieber's contract, Bieber of Phonegard?
great post juicer. The company owes us all communication and transparency. Like you said, we are funding this company, virtually all of us are at a loss. People love posting about saving lives everyday and such, but whose lives are being saved when there is no product being put out, not being actively promoted? Our great excitement is all from a high school inspired concert right now. Luckily they chose phoneguard. We need something from the Biebs and the BOD to get us moving and restore some faith in the management.
The key to being a successful OPMG investor is:
Assuming you are not day trading this... and wound up holding the bag like many of us here who bought in at 0.045 when the Bieber hype was in full swing... The key to being successful here is to hold the management responsible.
It's very simple, when you give someone your money, unless it's a gift, you want to know what they will do with it? i didn't give frohman and St Claire a gift. I gave them money to run their company. That being said, i want to know what is happening.
All i care about is product, promotion, sales and earnings!
Communication about P P S & E is mandatory or I get ansey which makes me cranky.
I appreciate your post. If I wanted to save lives I'd be a fireman!
SJ
"Happy juicing!"
Yo Stockjuicer ... Thanks for the juiceing, my day has been uneventful until you decided to turn my thoughts into pulp. Got to love it. Everything I stated in my post was gleamed from posts substantiated and unsubstantiated here on this board. All of my comments are my own opinion based on what I think I know and what I don't know, which is a lot. Unfortunately for you and me and everyone else on this board, I can't and would'nt even try to answer your questions because no one knows the answers to your questions and I think you already knew that did'nt you? Forgive me for my optimisim because I do believe that we have a chance at making some serious returns in the near future. I'm very much aware of all the negatives associated with OPMG, acutely aware of it because I'm reminded of what I already knew day after day. I do need to tell you that we're on the same page with something regarding the outcome.
"I wish you the best in saving lives... Personally I would liek to double my money so i can save my own life and continue eating and pay my mortgage".
SJ
Well maybe not 100% agreement. I think I might be quite a bit more greedy than you. I won't be happy untill I see 1000% return on my money.
Good luck to you and all of us, especially OPMG
Yeah! I would not get too excited about Channel 1.
The reality is that after the "Pledge of Allegiance" most students are either socializing or copying homework. No one is looking at the TV.
The concert might work though, I hope.
Channel 1 is just a fart in the wind!
And we wait until Monday, then consider storming the offices at OPMG!
GLTA
Or pay the 10 bucks I think for PPV.
So basically Phoneguard is sponsoring a concert that is getting beamed to schools only and PPV (We will approach PPV discussion in a bit)
As it is being beamed, the kids in school learn not to text and drive.
I AM CONVINCED that no kid will buy an upgraded version of phoneguard, and more than likely not install it...unless the parent makes it a condition to use the phone. Enough said. This IN MY OPINION will not move PPS on OPMG or lead to monster sales...we need more... I hope we get more... I want to make a profit like everyone else.
Channel One only gets broadcast two ways that I am aware of. It gets broadcast weekday to the 8000 schools that have signed up for it or you can view it on the web at their website.
http://www.channelone.com/
You can go to their website and create a username and password and then view the daily clips. It is about 12 minutes long each day.
Also, I did some checking and if you are interested, Channel One is owned by Alloy Media which does a phenominal job marketing to teens, tweens, and young adults (these are the folks who do the most texting). Check them out.
http://www.alloymarketing.com/about_us.html
http://www.alloyentertainment.com/
How do i view this channelone?
I don't see it anywhere on my local LV cable provider: Thought it was national?
http://ww2.cox.com/residential/lasvegas/tv/channel-lineup.cox
So this can only be viewed inside a school? That wouldn't be right.. for many reasons.... Once you confirm that, I will then post why teens watching channel one inside a school building will not lead to Phoneguard sales that will move the PPS enough. Please confirm where I can view this channel one?
Thanks
channel 1 news team reporters

these reporters/team will be at the concert/ppv

"Rock With The Docs"....How cool would that be! It is Right Up OPMG's alley! We should suggest to St. Clair, our CEO they also put up a link to Ihub on one of those Jumbo-Trons to bring some investor awareness.(just a thought)
THE SPIN DOCTORS~It's truly a perfect fit for the "National Day of Awareness Against Texting and Driving" which OPMG is a sponsor! It would compliment the company so well I think Randall James should call them right NOW!
PhoneGuard is making it's own luck. Hard work. OPMG
I haven't watched Tosh.o but heard he's funny - I personally like Chelsea Lately but of course we aren't scheduling the line up....we will get who they can get, for now. At least I know who Eddie Murphy is but it's not about me, it's about reaching kids to stop texting and driving period. PhoneGuard is just a "tag along" here because the kids asked them to be a sponsor, we got lucky there!
There may be another concert at some point if this goes well and then perhaps some bigger names will jump on board....and it will bode well for OPMG PPS....we'll see as We Wait!
imo
Creative imagination brainstorming, with strong efforts and actions starts to bring in backup troops for the purpose of bringing PhoneGuard to a successful position of protecting the safety of the roadway. T-shirts, Wallmart, keeping up the actions and the efforts from all active perspectives are amazing. OPMG
Text free zone: OSHA’s distracted driving initiative kicks into gear
According to OSHA, sending and reading text or email messages is a workplace safety hazard that employers are legally obligated to prevent under the OSH Act’s General Duty Clause. For instance, OSHA finds that workers are exposed to a hazard when an incoming text from a supervisor or an urgent email request from a client draws their focus away from the road. Notably, formal or informal incentive programs (i.e., monetary bonuses for making a certain number of deliveries per hour or day) are the heart of OSHA’s Distracted Driving Initiative. The agency believes the root cause of texting while driving is employers’ policies that leave employees no option but to text or email on the go. Accordingly, employers violate the General Duty Clause when their policies or practices:
1. Require texting/emailing while driving;
2. Create incentives that encourage or condone texting/emailing while driving; or
3. Structured in such a way that texting is a practical necessity for workers to carry out their job duties.
When OSHA determines that employers’ policies contribute to cell-phone related accidents, it will issue General Duty Clause citations, which carry maximum penalties of $70,000 per Willful or Repeat violation or $7,000 per Serious violation. As a result of the Distracted Driving Initiative, employers should implement a workplace safety culture that explicitly prohibits texting while driving on the job or in company-owned vehicles. Indeed, employers should draft or revise cell-phone usage policies to declare all vehicles “text-free zones,” including posting of such signage in company vehicles.
Effective policies should alert managers, supervisors, and employees that the company neither requires nor tolerates sending or reading text/email messages while driving. The policies should also stress safe communication practices and incorporate procedures that eliminate financial or other incentive programs that encourage or require texting while driving in order to carry out job duties. Additionally, employers should review such policies during training, education sessions, and new hire orientation programs.
OSHA has promised swift action upon learning of distracted driving accidents or receiving credible complaints from employees that their employers require or organize work so that texting while driving is a practical necessity. OSHA is forthright in its position on distracted driving, and it will not hesitate to issue citations and penalties where necessary. Given OSHA’s aggressive enforcement record over the past three years, we expect the agency to be on the lookout for a poster-child employer to use as an example for others under the new Distracted Driving Initiative.

Eddie Murphy??
Tosh.0 would be a better candidate to reach the target market.
Doesn't matter what we think or who we would like to see, I believe they will use performers with much less appeal than we would all like to see. Quite apparent in the following link.
http://myglobalmaximus.com/images/confirmation.png
If they had bigger names appearing they would surly be using their faces in the promotions :(
comedians included
The mixed genre of talent is also intended to create diverse interest from the general public towards the interactive event in support of the cause offering all types of music, comedy and well known actors serving the students as ambassadors to the cause.

**thanks Car
**also heard about eddie murphy concerning comedy and tom hanks, harrison ford concerning actors involved
"zimmerman who"
HEy Car - where'd you learn that tidbit of a comedian - or just usual for opening act ???
That's great news though, and Eddie Murphy would seem like a good choice due to his children and all.
I'll go with that instead of Zimmerman for sure!!!!!!
I thought I was quite clear on my opinion. Let's try it again. The company has already looked into ad's being deleted by the phone and if they thought it was a problem or actually happening they wouldn't be attaching ad's to the software. I really can't imagine if ad's are being deleted by the phone as you suggest then why would management be attaching ad's to the software. hmmm. I know management has made some blunder decision but I don't think they are that stupid to be attaching ad's to the software knowing they are going to be deleted by the phone. If your opinion is different then I guess we will have live with that. JMO..
