I guess Spanish River was upset because after all their hard work they got dissed by the golden boy, he has been REMOVED from all their web pages......as well as PhoneGuard. great post juicer. The company owes us all communication and transparency. Like you said, we are funding this company, virtually all of us are at a loss. People love posting about saving lives everyday and such, but whose lives are being saved when there is no product being put out, not being actively promoted? Our great excitement is all from a high school inspired concert right now. Luckily they chose phoneguard. We need something from the Biebs and the BOD to get us moving and restore some faith in the management.

It's very simple, when you give someone your money, unless it's a gift, you want to know what they will do with it? i didn't give frohman and St Claire a gift. I gave them money to run their company. That being said, i want to know what is happening.

Yo Stockjuicer ... Thanks for the juiceing, my day has been uneventful until you decided to turn my thoughts into pulp. Got to love it. Everything I stated in my post was gleamed from posts substantiated and unsubstantiated here on this board. All of my comments are my own opinion based on what I think I know and what I don't know, which is a lot. Unfortunately for you and me and everyone else on this board, I can't and would'nt even try to answer your questions because no one knows the answers to your questions and I think you already knew that did'nt you? Forgive me for my optimisim because I do believe that we have a chance at making some serious returns in the near future. I'm very much aware of all the negatives associated with OPMG, acutely aware of it because I'm reminded of what I already knew day after day. I do need to tell you that we're on the same page with something regarding the outcome.

The reality is that after the "Pledge of Allegiance" most students are either socializing or copying homework. No one is looking at the TV.
The concert might work though, I hope.

So basically Phoneguard is sponsoring a concert that is getting beamed to schools only and PPV (We will approach PPV discussion in a bit)
As it is being beamed, the kids in school learn not to text and drive.
I AM CONVINCED that no kid will buy an upgraded version of phoneguard, and more than likely not install it...unless the parent makes it a condition to use the phone. Enough said. This IN MY OPINION will not move PPS on OPMG or lead to monster sales...we need more... I hope we get more... I want to make a profit like everyone else.
Channel One only gets broadcast two ways that I am aware of. It gets broadcast weekday to the 8000 schools that have signed up for it or you can view it on the web at their website.

You can go to their website and create a username and password and then view the daily clips. It is about 12 minutes long each day.
Also, I did some checking and if you are interested, Channel One is owned by Alloy Media which does a phenominal job marketing to teens, tweens, and young adults (these are the folks who do the most texting). Check them out.

I haven't watched Tosh.o but heard he's funny - I personally like Chelsea Lately but of course we aren't scheduling the line up....we will get who they can get, for now. At least I know who Eddie Murphy is but it's not about me, it's about reaching kids to stop texting and driving period. PhoneGuard is just a "tag along" here because the kids asked them to be a sponsor, we got lucky there!
There may be another concert at some point if this goes well and then perhaps some bigger names will jump on board....and it will bode well for OPMG PPS....we'll see as We Wait!

Text free zone: OSHA’s distracted driving initiative kicks into gear
According to OSHA, sending and reading text or email messages is a workplace safety hazard that employers are legally obligated to prevent under the OSH Act’s General Duty Clause. For instance, OSHA finds that workers are exposed to a hazard when an incoming text from a supervisor or an urgent email request from a client draws their focus away from the road. Notably, formal or informal incentive programs (i.e., monetary bonuses for making a certain number of deliveries per hour or day) are the heart of OSHA’s Distracted Driving Initiative. The agency believes the root cause of texting while driving is employers’ policies that leave employees no option but to text or email on the go. Accordingly, employers violate the General Duty Clause when their policies or practices:
1. Require texting/emailing while driving;
2. Create incentives that encourage or condone texting/emailing while driving; or
3. Structured in such a way that texting is a practical necessity for workers to carry out their job duties.
When OSHA determines that employers’ policies contribute to cell-phone related accidents, it will issue General Duty Clause citations, which carry maximum penalties of $70,000 per Willful or Repeat violation or $7,000 per Serious violation. As a result of the Distracted Driving Initiative, employers should implement a workplace safety culture that explicitly prohibits texting while driving on the job or in company-owned vehicles. Indeed, employers should draft or revise cell-phone usage policies to declare all vehicles “text-free zones,” including posting of such signage in company vehicles.
Effective policies should alert managers, supervisors, and employees that the company neither requires nor tolerates sending or reading text/email messages while driving. The policies should also stress safe communication practices and incorporate procedures that eliminate financial or other incentive programs that encourage or require texting while driving in order to carry out job duties. Additionally, employers should review such policies during training, education sessions, and new hire orientation programs.
OSHA has promised swift action upon learning of distracted driving accidents or receiving credible complaints from employees that their employers require or organize work so that texting while driving is a practical necessity. OSHA is forthright in its position on distracted driving, and it will not hesitate to issue citations and penalties where necessary. Given OSHA’s aggressive enforcement record over the past three years, we expect the agency to be on the lookout for a poster-child employer to use as an example for others under the new Distracted Driving Initiative.

I thought I was quite clear on my opinion. Let's try it again. The company has already looked into ad's being deleted by the phone and if they thought it was a problem or actually happening they wouldn't be attaching ad's to the software. I really can't imagine if ad's are being deleted by the phone as you suggest then why would management be attaching ad's to the software. hmmm. I know management has made some blunder decision but I don't think they are that stupid to be attaching ad's to the software knowing they are going to be deleted by the phone. If your opinion is different then I guess we will have live with that. JMO..
actually Sang k I have thought since Scooter has JB and his dad is on the BOD; JB is such a coup the Braun's are driving this thing. Scooter made JB who he is via youtube in sort of a "grass roots" style and keeps him in tune with fans with daily tweets. It seems Scooter has his finger on the pulse of how to reach kids on their turf so the Times Square was "too much too soon" and fell flat. Maybe Scooters approach will eventually work some magic for OPMG as well.
Would I rather see Bieber doing his own Dont Text and Drive concert with a song saying 'buyyyy PhonneGuaarrddd"? Yes, but what do I know? That may not be the way to build a foundation of annual users AND we don't have that so I am trusting this concert gets OPMG jump started.
We shareholders have been kept in the dark, we dont know why some people left or why, why, why? But it is what it is - the PPS is what it is as well. Frustrating as hell, YES!
That run up on Bieber hype alone to .0975 did more damage than good actually because we all have goals of that happening 100x more... but this is a fledgling company and a PINK sheet stock. I put too much into OPMG based on JB and that pre-mature run when that run was a typical response in Pinkyland to some incredible news with flippers having fun pumping and running.
I'm trying to focus on Now - with the mind frame of this still is a "early stage" company with great potential that so far has not been tapped into like "I" wanted but I think we begin a slow move upward and I will re-evaluate in May after the concert.
All I do know is PhoneGuard will have some sort of presence at this concert and will be better exposure than we have now.

I never stated that a Marketing/PR firm are required, I stated we dont currently have one because either Zimmerman quit, or were let go. Surely it must be one of those two (I think they quit)
The fact that OPMG hired the ZIMMERMAN Agency, and was the subject of many many posts praising the company for hiring such a prestigious firm to represent the PhoneGuard brand...The company chose them out of thousands of agencies, and obviously felt the need for their product to be professionally marketed, but now we have NO marketing firm
at least to me it is very disturbing that right before the "National Day of Awareness Against Texting and Driving" which OPMG is a sponsor, we dont have "professionals" marketing the brand....But sure, we can probably have somebody making minimum wage printing out brochures in one of OPMG's back offices and handing them out at local events like flea markets to raise awareness. But somehow I think to investors that own millions of shares, they would WANT a "Professional Marketing/PR firm" guaranteeing them a return on their investment by sucessfully marketing the PhoneGuard brand and making OPMG a household name. But maybe you are right, they should just get some kid to spit out brochures on an inkjet printer, and save a few bucks,......*sigh*
Yes, it will be great to hear from GMP. It is supposed to be announced by their cooperative radio, so I don't know how we hear that. I have an email in to Mr. James to see if there will be PR out as well. He told me that announcements will be made when all paperwork is signed and all details are completely finalized because they want to send out a "hard" release. "hard" release is being able to name the artists. So, when t's are crossed and i's are dotted and all commitments are finalazied is when we hear.

Wow.. woke up, got out of bed started speculating in my own head. hint hint.. anyway was thinking Bieber or no Bieber this thing is going to be promoted like crazy. I thought Entertainment tonight and the rest of these entertainment shows pander to kids, teens and causes. I can't tell fact from fiction when I read some of these postings but common sence tells me that once they start with the official anouncements "MONDAY?" the cats going to be out of the bag and OPMG will be getting all the exposure a company neeeds and more to get a product out there. This company good or bad, planned or not, posts fact or fiction, beiber believers or beiber non believers won't mean a thing. This product will be in every ones face and nothing else will matter because my little piece of the action will be going ballistic
Entertainment Tonight is an example and not a fact. I'm not trying to start rumors. I'm trying to pry sleepy eyes open to see the possibilitys of what I think will be happening in the very near future. Since when is there some sort of Marketing 101 statement that all small companies, especially OTC like OPMG need to hire a large marketing/PR firm in order to be successful. If you have ever run a small business you know that much of the marketing and pr materials are done inhouse. It would be responsible for OPMG management to cut costs where it makes sense. I don't know if you have heard, but many companies have computers inhouse that allow for publicatons, brochures, and graphics.
