Goldex Resources Gains Permit Approval for Drill Program at El Arco, Mexico
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 23, 2011) - Goldex Resources Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GDX) ("Goldex" or the "Company") today reported receipt of permit approval for a 15,000m, 50 hole drill program consisting of both Core and RC drilling.
Management issued a press release in July of 2011 announcing a phase one 4000m RC drill program at EL Arco as permits were initially thought to be in hand. After a company led review of the process the company discovered that an environmental permit would be required from the relevant governmental agency, SEMARNAT. The application was filed in September and after a site visit by SEMARNAT on the 22nd of October and the subsequent processing period authorities in Mexico granted the requisite permits which pave the way to a commencement of drill operations at EL Arco.
In the meantime company management has been in constant contact with prospective drill companies with the intention of signing a contract as soon as permit approval was granted. As such a drill contract and the subsequent commencement of activities at EL Arco are expected to be announced shortly.
"We can now look forward to the commencement of our planned drill program. We intend to push forward with our exploration of El Arco and uncover the value of this exciting target", stated Goldex President Chuck Ross.
The EL Arco property is located in the Mexican State of Durango which is host to a number of illustrious neighbors and mines including Great Panther Silver, with its 'Topia' Property and Fresnillo PLC's 'La Cienega' mine, previously one of the largest producing gold mines in Mexico. Goldex VP of exploration, Larry Kornze, formally the regional manager of Mexico and Central America for Barrick Gold has called EL Arco "The best undrilled property in the America's" and was part of the geology team responsible for the planning of the upcoming drill program.

Bard drills 214.7 m of 70.49 g/t Ag at Lone Pine
2011-09-09 12:37 ET - News Release
Mr. Eugene Beukman reports
BARD VENTURES LTD.: DRILLING RESULTS
Bard Ventures Ltd. has released significant drill hole results from its 2011 phase one drill program in the Quartz Breccia zone on its Lone Pine property. The company is very pleased and encouraged by the positive results received from drill hole BD-11-69 demonstrating the continuity of high-grade molybdenum (Mo), copper (Cu) and silver (Ag) mineralization over a horizontal distance of 131 metres from drill hole BDQ-08-03 through BD-11-69 to BDQ-08-04. Mineralization identified by these drill holes remains open in all directions and requires additional drilling. The property is located 15 kilometres north-northwest of Houston, B.C., and is situated in the Omineca mining division.
A summary of significant drill hole intercepts from BD-11-69 is highlighted in the associated table. All intervals are reported as drill core widths and may not represent true width as there has not been enough drilling to delineate the shape of the mineralization at this early stage of wide-spaced exploration drilling.

There have been no low or high assay cut-offs applied to any analytical results as the project is still in the exploration phase. The only interval that had non-detectable silver (less than 0.5 gram per tonne (g/t)) in the interval from 18.6 metres to 233.3 metres reported above was from 55.4 metres to 58.4 metres, a drilled width of three metres.
Drill hole BD-11-69 intersected extensive intervals of copper, silver and molybdenum mineralization from 18.6 metres to a vertical depth of 450.8 metres through a broad zone of quartz-healed volcanic breccia from 18.6 metres to 392.6 metres and underlying basalt and narrow alaskite dikes to 481.3 metres. Alaskite was intersected from 481.3 metres to 544.3 metres. The drill hole terminated in a fine-grained magnetic mafic dike from 544.3 metres to the end of hole at 602.59 metres. Molybdenum and chalcopyrite mineralization is vein hosted, while silver mineralization occurs as both vein hosted and disseminated. High-grade-vein-hosted copper, silver and zinc mineralization was intersected within a 6.3-metre interval from 142.5 metres to 148.8 metres as outlined in the associated table.
Significant NQ drill core assay results have been received from the first of three drill holes completed in the Quartz Breccia zone located one kilometre north of the Alaskite zone's molybdenum-copper-silver resource. In 2007 and 2008 the company completed seven drill holes in the Quartz Breccia zone. A review of those results in March, 2011 (news release March 28, 2011), identified extensive intervals of copper, silver and molybdenum mineralization including 0.052 per cent Mo over 142.0 metres (BDQ-08-03), 0.086 per cent Cu over 147 metres (BDQ-08-03) and 19.05 grams per tonne Ag over 176.0 metres (BDQ-08-04). Drill hole BDQ-08-04 terminated in copper-silver mineralization at the end of the hole and remains open to extension at depth. Vertical drill hole BD-11-69 is located along the western margin of the Quartz Breccia zone and is bounded by 2008 vertical drill holes BDQ-08-03, located approximately 57 metres to the north, and BDQ-08-04, located approximately 74 metres to the south.
The company awaits the results of additional assays for rhenium (Re) and gold (Au) from drill hole BD-11-69.
The company has completed a National Instrument 43-101 positive preliminary economic assessment on the Alaskite zone (see news release March 11, 2011). This PEA does not include any resource from the Quartz Breccia zone. Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. A copy of the report is available on SEDAR.
The property has an ideal location for operations with established infrastructure including:
* Highway 16;
* A natural gas pipeline;
* A major hydro power transmission line and transformer substation;
* Is located only 15 kilometres from the CN rail line in Houston, B.C.
Bard is earning a 100-per-cent interest in the property under the terms of an option agreement (news release dated Sept. 15, 2006). The Lone Pine exploration is being conducted under the supervision of qualified person Rick Kemp, PGeo, vice-president, exploration. Drill core samples from BD-11-69 were analyzed by ACME Analytical Laboratories in Vancouver utilizing a 31-element ICP-ES geochemical analysis, overlimit ICP base and precious metal results were assayed.
Following gold, oil and dollar mostly shorting it through ETFs
CDN banks got hammered last week and had very small rebound that died quickly today. My intended short of gold would have been a disaster as well as an ETF for natural gas.
I am sticking to blue chips that have no reason to fall and still distribute dividends yet think they are of the catfish species.
Markets falling today -- banks hit hard -- gld still up up
cls fall continues to 52 week low -- almost! Short may still be on big time.
Celestica or cls is on my radar. Heavily shorted stock but seems to be on verge of recovery.
ENA.tsx getting destroyed today and last few days
VAV.tsx traded 4M shares today on news
How can you beat dividends!!? Income trust yields can also be quite tasty!
Covalon is back at its lowest but that story is far from over as it has a real product with real partners and potential.
I follow only 5 stocks now and COV is one of them.
Cheers!
Happy New Year right back at you.I see you are still following covalon.Ithink I saw it as a top pick a while back but never followed up.Checked your guy in Van. and never got into that way of thinking either.Told my financial guy I'm going on my own(to save the MERS) and followed BNN and bought 5 div. stocks and all are up.I think I'll keep going like this,it's interesting and love beating mutual funds.All for now,2011 looking good?
