CERP In addition to increased consumer awareness concerning the environment, demand in the U.S. and Europe for Cereplast bioplastic resin continues to grow as a result of legislation banning the sale of plastic bags in various regions on both continents. European manufacturers are increasingly seeking out plastic alternatives to comply with legislation.

One of the most touted philosophies in this game is "keep emotions out of it". It's also one of the hardest philosophies to master, unless you're a complete sociopath, which I'm still learning myself. But, practicing that philosophy, I'm learning more and more, is paramount to effective trading.
This is called trading. It's not called holding forever. Everyone is a flipper. Wether they do it daily or after they ride a play out for 3 years. Or from a short position.
Being emotional about it, will only hurt your ability to make smart trades.

As a basher, you have NO skills my friend.
My advice is to let it run it's course. I've actually seen the hardest, most effective bashers become the most staunch supporters of the same play, once they've covered their position.
Making it personal is a recipe for disaster.
Ofcourse I know that. But I've also learned the hard way, not to engage the negativity. I'm not trying to sound smug. And I also happen to like that FB guru. I mean no disrespect when I say that. It's merely a reflection of what others call him.
When you see the bashing, know there is shorting. I've learned to cut my position in half when I see it, and when it ends, I increase. Maybe they need .03/.04 to cover. After that EWSI will be wide open unless people get emotional and personal. Then you'll lose everything.
she's not critizing ewsi, she is publishing slander and making up allegations against the company. there is a massive "intellectual" difference. she doesn't believe a word she writes negatively about them and has said she is shorting and where she began shorting from and the same day started making up allegations against the company.
that isn't criticism. everyone has asked her to back up her posts with some shred of evidence and there has been ZERO response.
you can't claim intellectual honesty there.
shorting can be an extremely effective trading strategy and nobody will argue against that, especially here.
the only argument you are hearing is the one against publishing outright lies and blatant slander against companies in order to manipulate a share price downward for personal gain and then inviting a crowd to join a board that will specialize in doing the same.
you can short without doing something illegal and slimy.
you seem good with charts. therefore you personally know you can short without doing something illegal and slimy and still do very very well, especially with low OS and low float stocks that bounce around like they do.
Furthermore, let's be intellectually honest here. The people threatening this board with SEC sanctions would have no interest in it, if not for it's moderator criticizing EWSI.
Is that really "rising above it"?
You're all just asking to lose your investment.
I've been on EWSI urging investors to just ignore it. Responding only invites more criticism. Nobody listens. This moral high ground you're claiming is without merit.
First of all, I'm not threatening anyone, and I resent the implication. This is a chicken or the egg scenario. If a certain FB guru, which I'm not naming, populated a list of people that they openly called out on FB, it's only natural to expect retaliation.
It was irresponsible to the best interest of investors and the play to do something like that. That's my opinion. I can only assume recent criticisms of certain plays are due in part to what has transpired on FB. The rest I assume is a byproduct of some having short positions.
It's arguable that "standing up" to shorts is doing the right thing. It's also a contradiction to "rising above it" by calling suspected shorts out on FB. So, who threw that gauntlet down first? Again, if someone is going to do something like that, they should expect retaliation, and perhaps be prepared that they may have to answer attacks on their plays with attacks on other plays. If they're not prepared to do that, maybe they shouldn't open a can of worms by calling people out in the first place.
If I were currently invested in EWSI or any other related plays, I would have resented someone on FB doing that. Because they've put my interest at risk of retaliation. I still think it was a stupid move from an observational perspective. Which is all I'm offering up, are my observations.
Shorting is just a trading strategy. I don't prefer it but, that's all it is. It's not always some nefarious plot. I'm sure from the perspective of shorts they see pumpers as a bunch crack slingers. Selling garbage stocks to the masses. It's all a matter of perspective.
My advice is, waging a board war is the fastest way to lose your investment. I urge diplomacy and ignoring opposition from the start. So you can leave my "mama" out of it.
so are you saying that Big Investments LLC is being harassed/threatened by a group of traders from ihub who intentionally bash all his picks as retaliation for him doing the right thing and standing up to folks who short stocks and then slander companies? (forgive me {sort of} if it isn't Big's FB page you are referring to but you are instead threatening some other person)
but, seriously? is that what you are implying?
and you are arguing that is what will happen when folks complain about WC's board?
seriously?
and you are saying that is okay?
the reason some people may not be comfortable with the advice you gave here "to not complain but just retaliate against WC by slandering one of her picks" is because most folks are good people and just don't swim in that muck and most folks see the consequence of lying and bullying is hurting actual hard-working people.
They prefer to rise above it. They prefer to stand up and call folks out when they do something illegal, or unethical rather than play the same game. Just because you can get away with it, doesn't make it okay and that seems to be your argument here. There are a lot of things "they won't go after you" for, but once again that doesn't make it okay.
I actually appreciate your trading skills jaylin. I watched the way you got yipi some interest over the months when there was nothing from the company to justify it and I am pretty sure you made a killing doing so and you did it by not being low, but by being clever. It is okay to be clever, but it isn't okay to hurt people. I would hope your mama would tell you the same.
Good luck. These are the same guys that create the ability to naked short sell from offshore accounts. How many bankers went to jail during the crash? The SEC is a bunch of gangsters. Plus, I don't see the problem. Somebody saying, hey let's start a pool to trade the daily picks doesn't seem illegal to me. People do lottery pools, football pools, etc.
I know you guys are upset about the hit that EWSI is taking. But you need to see it for what it is. Someone going after a play negatively is an indication they have a short position in it. Their investment is as important to them as yours is.
In this case there could be other factors too. There's a so called guru that runs a FB page for an investment group that has been calling a lot of people out and slandering them. It doesn't seem a coincidence to me that all the plays he's alerting are being attacked.
If it were me, I might appeal to this FB guru to shut up before he destroys every play he's alerting by badmouthing people.
The SEC reply:
Thank you for submitting your online contact to the Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of Investor Education and Advocacy. A representative of the Office of Investor Education and Advocacy will respond to you shortly.
I'm just saying, I wouldn't put much faith in the SEC. They create the loopholes to control the markets. You may not approve of this page, but when people don't approve of someone "bashing" a stock, the usual answer is "if you don't like it, move along". If you think someone is unjustly attacking a play you're in, you always have the right to attack a play they're in too.
You're probably right .. unless there is 'self' professed implications of illegal activity regard stock price manipulation ...
Market manipulation is a deliberate attempt to interfere with the free and fair operation of the market and create artificial, false or misleading appearances with respect to the price of, or market for, a security, commodity or currency. Market manipulation is prohibited in the United States under Section 9(a)(2)[1] of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Act defines market manipulation as transactions which create an artificial price or maintain an artificial price for a tradeable security. Market manipulation is also prohibited for wholesale electricity markets under Section 222 of the Federal Power Act[2] and wholesale natural gas markets under Section 4A of the Natural Gas Act.[3]
May I also add that there has been ample opportunity afforded WC to provide back-up and support to her lies, mis-representations, and completely false accusations on the EWSI board (in response) ... yet she continues to spread slanderous accusations that should indeed be brought to the SEC's attention.
I've done very well with PTAH several times.

In the United States, over-the-counter trading in stock is carried out by market makers using inter-dealer quotation services such as OTC Link (a service offered by OTC Markets Group) and the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB, operated by FINRA). The OTCBB licenses the services of OTC Link for their OTCBB securities. Although exchange-listed stocks can be traded OTC on the third market, it is rarely the case. Usually OTC stocks are not listed nor traded on exchanges, and vice versa. Although stocks quoted on the OTCBB must comply with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements, other OTC stocks have alternative disclosure guidelines (for example, OTCQX stocks through OTC Market Group Inc), and others have no reporting requirements, for example Pink Sheets securities.
