$MITQ should have ER coming soon. This one is getting a bigger pre-ER run than the last few. The last few have been slightly smaller runs, with the big run post ER. Maybe if this one can get the same post ER run it will finally get back up in the $2-$3 range. Float is low enough that it could pop, but everyone is quick to sell these days once up a large percentage.

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 9, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Mill City Ventures III, Ltd. (NasdaqCM: MCVT) (Mill City or the "Company") a non-bank lender and specialty finance company, today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 1,250,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $4.00 per share, for aggregate gross proceeds of $5,000,000, before underwriting discounts and commissions. In addition, the Company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 187,500 additional shares of common stock at the offering price, less the underwriting discount. The Company expects to commence trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market ("Nasdaq") tomorrow.

In connection with the Nasdaq listing, the Company will implement a reverse split of its issued and outstanding shares of common stock at a ratio of 1 for 2.25. The reverse stock split will be effective as of the open of trading on August 9, 2022. The share numbers and pricing information in this release are adjusted to reflect the reverse stock split. The offering is expected to close on August 11, 2022, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering primarily for general corporate purposes, including working capital, expanded sales and marketing activities, and providing additional specialty short-term loans.

Shares of GigaCloud Technology Inc. rocketed again it their sophomore session on Nasdaq, to trade at more than four-times the initial public offering price. The Hong Kong-based business-to-business (B2B) ecommerce platform for large parcel merchandise went public on the Nasdaq on Thursday, after the company raised about $36 million by selling 2.94 million shares at an IPO price of $12.25 a share. The stock opened Thursday at $19.20, or 56.7% above the IPO price, then traded within a intraday range of $12.51 to $21.22 before closing at $15.69, on volume of 11.5 million shares. On Friday, the stock gapped 69.8% higher at the open, starting the day at $26.64, before the rally accelerated to 144.0% to $38.28 (312.5% above the IPO price), on volume of 7.7 million shares in about the first 20 minutes after the opening bell. The stock has already been halted twice for volatility. The stock's rally comes while the Renaissance IPO ETF dropped 3.2% in morning trading and the S&P 500 slumped 1.0%.
