The CEO has emptied 94% of his position and made over $240m among which $160m was made after the publication of the first paper on the blinded results of p3 DCVax-L clinical trial on May 29 2018. Take a specific look at what he did after the JAMA paper was published on November 17, 2022. Did he sense something? Does it look like he still holds confidence in the company?

Clearly TTF + SOC delivered the results even worse than SOC. Likewise for the case of TTF + ICI and TTF + DTX except the case PD-L1 expression less than 1%.

This abstract was published five years ago on DCVax-L + Poly-ICLC. Five out of nine patients are still alive over ten years after three doses of the combination. This is extraordinary considering the fact that maturated dendritic cells can only live one week after reaching lymph nodes. After one month, all the original dendritic cells loaded with tumor antigens were gone. But because of the involvement of MHC Class 2, the anti-tumor immune response keeps going and there is why there is no recurrence.

Dendritic cells after be activated and maturated by poly-iclc have maximum seven days life after migrating to lymph nodes. Three doses will be administered within 28 days. After 35 days, all the primed dendritic cells loaded tumor antigen are gone. Yet the anti-tumor response continues. How is that? Dr. Bosch said the following.

It presents peptides from both known GBM-associated tumor antigens, and tumor antigens which have not been reported in GBM before. Like Dr. Bala suggested before, you need to update your knowledge structure. English is your native language. Right? Read carefully what Dr. Stupp wrote. Where did Dr. Stupp explicitly mention that FDA should not grant approval to DCVax-L? As a matter of fact, in the past two years, Dr. Stupp has been helping NWBO to get the approval.

The results are intriguing; yet, it remains to be demonstrated that the effect observed is truly due to DCVax rather than a mere reflection of patient selection. There is a strong movement to allow for synthetic controls to replace randomized trials and limit the number of patients to be treated as controls, particularly in diseases like glioblastoma, where better treatments are urgently needed and progress has been slow. But, what magnitude of an effect do we want to see by accepting historical external controls in lieu of randomized trials for proof of efficacy? Being too stringent carries the risk of rejecting a potentially effective treatment strategy that could ultimately unfold its full potential if used in an optimized context or in combination, whereas criteria that are too relaxed will expose patients to ineffective treatments, toxicity, and costs and will ultimately hamper the development of more effective innovative therapies. Timely and appropriate trial design with meaningful and reproducible endpoints, efficient enrollment, and adequate funding remain the most efficient way to provide patients access to better treatments with proven efficacy, approved and reimbursed.

He was one of many experts who have written about NWBO's trial. Also, patients were randomised to either SOC (adjuvant chemo) plus placebo or SOC plus -L.

Take a look at the type of research he is doing. Will any GBM patients try the treatment he was researching if DCVax-L is available?

Those given a placebo had a better PFS, as well as OS, which means -L failed.

Have you even read Dr. Bosch's presentation? Read it carefully. 600 GBM patients received DCVax-L treatment. Play simple math and remind yourself how many patients receiving DCVax-L through compassionate use program. GBM Patients in compassionate use program most likely would received new batch of the vaccine from the recurrent tumor tissue as indicated in the presentation, which means the results are much better than those of p3 trial.

I haven't mentioned about of tens of patients with other types of tumors yet.

The vaccine is an expensive placebo.

The randomised and placebo controlled trial they ran was a failure:

mPFS: 7.6 months for placebo; 6.2 months for DCVax-L. Hazard ratio 1.1

mOS: 23.1 months for placebo; 22.4 months for DCVax-L. Hazard ratio so bad they wouldn't tell us.

But as long as you completely ignore that, along with many other things, and allow them to use a cherry-picked control instead, then there is a ''benefit"!

Comments about the publication are not peer reviewed and are not part of the medical literature.

So, identification for that and other reasons is very important.

DCVax-L can trigger immune memory which prevents recurrence.

The vaccine is an expensive placebo.

The clinical results from mRNA are mediocre as indicated by the Moderna SP.

Your information is incorrect about the DCVax-L cell-based platform technology.

No, it is not.

You need to seek better sources.

We know from the company itself and the clinical trials registry history that the trial was randomised and placebo controlled. Also, that the primary endpoint was PFS and the secondary endpoint was OS.

Last year Dr. Mulholland presented at the New York Academy of Sciences. For PFS, the hazard ratio was 1.1. So those in the vaccine arm did worse than placebo. They did not report the hazard ratio for OS, but the blended mOS was 23.1 months for placebo, while for the vaccine arm it was 22.4 months. This means the vaccine did worse than placebo. So, the trend was to harm, not benefit.

As for the JAMA Oncology paper, you should read the comments left.
