actually - it does automatically adjust cost basis in Gainskeepr, but, it will not change the trade price per share.

(for any TD users) - if having issues just use the Think or Swim mobile app and chat with one of the support techs- they will give a pretty good explanation and also tell you where to look in the account.

TD wont do that for you automatically. get out your calculator and figure it old skool. at tax time use the adjusted price (or not, depending on situation).

I hear what you're saying. But the people who tell you that the stock will go down by the same amount are the same people who can't tell the difference between companies trading higher or lower than book value.

I own many companies that are trading below book value. And if they return capital then that doesn't mean the stock will go down by the same amount.
Alas, the market is stupid.

they said another couple days.. they also said the dividend as "return of capital" reduces the PPS by the dividend amount.. explaining the price drop... so in fact it WAS too good to be true

more than likely was a market sell order. MMs price it in where it will move. MMs don't care about price drop, only the ability to move the shares.

You nailed it, been watching all day and it has been one seller consistently.

I've seen crazy manipulation but this one takes the cake. Once this fool gets out of the way, this will be back at .50 in a heartbeat with very little resistance.
