Northern Technologies trading at 18% discount to Fair Value before earnings Thursday
Intrinsic Value
I only got a small amount in the 10s, since it never hit my big load up point in the 9s......but up is up!!!
It would've been nice to get in at $9. I just bought at a little under $11. I think that NTIC looks like a good buy at that price level. The PE is reasonable and the projected EPS growth looks to be about 30% next year. The Petrol Brasil contract should bump EPS a little more than that too.
time for another flip coming.....looking to get back in around 9 or so as it drifts down on low volume.....
3rd quarter results look decent........

You may be right - especially since JBI has units in the U.S.A.!!
I think JBII's P2O is gonna blow them out of the water...........et z
Doing research on different alternate fuel companies. NTIC sells machines for Polymer Energy? PE website isn't very informative. How many machines have they sold? Different from the plastic recycling machines others have? Plas2fuel, Blest, P2O?
nice PPS performance, but still light on volume...but a 60% gain over the months is nothing to sneeze at!!!
14 from 9. had to let have go in the 13s.
not a trader for sure. great buy and hold and then sell issue. unlike jb......
lol
wow, talk about thin volume!!!!
back over 14 again...:))
yes, this one is going to hit my sell price faster than i thought. very nice.
up another 10% today!!!!
just here to make money wherever i can. this one was easy. my days of holding a penny stock month after month while reading endless excuses and pumps are long over.
its only money...:)
congrats on your gain.....much better than being stuck in a penny stock doghouse at an .80 PP attractor.......
up 50% again. easy money. eom

started a position today.
with profits taken and more.
investing in nasdaq stocks with a PROVEN track record is a no brainer.
Pump and Dump? Seriously? The plan allows selling up to 5000 shares per quarter. OMG, that's an avalanche! Please review the filing.
Looks like the pump is being dumped on the news? You were doing such a good job promoting this. Insiders seemed to appreciate it. Are you averaging down?
Shortin time..........et z
14.00 week for ntic - excellent. eom
unlike jbiie.pk - no false promises from the ceo.
ntic is a proven leader in green technology.
the company that you refer to as all in?
a wannabe, just yet - but good luck!
Make sure Sykes et al are in the loop there........From what I can tell, shorters love new highs.....z

It would be like a horse (NTIC) racing a three legged donkey (scamotcstock).
Time will tell won't it.......ntic been around for ages.....JBII just coming out of the gate.....guess we'll see which horse is faster down the home stretch huh?.......I'm all in on JBII....z
ntic short interest
http://shortsqueeze.com/?symbol=ntic
at a 52 week high - a short play should always be a consideration as a trader.
ntic is so thinly traded i would be very careful -
given the last q and past history - short might not be the best play here.
Are you really trying to say that a scam OTC company that just posted a big fat loss is superior to a nasdaq company that just posted a gain?
That's cute.
that would be stealing - i don't do that.
seriously how many 20 dollar issues trade on the otcbb?
lolololololol
ntic is a NASDAQ traded issue and will trade over twenty dollars by eoy.
mark this post.
New high today....time to short the living bejeezus out of ntic huh?.......I wonder who's gonna go first....lol.......z
ntic isn't even in the plastic to oil business.......they're in the solvent/whatever business........they just sell those overpriced 'hot lead' death traps to unsuspecting third world countries.....yes, I'd say JBII is of a WAY higher Class........z
JBII and NTIC arent even in the same ballpark. JBII is a scam. NTIC is a real company.
that was a good call......took a bit longer than expected, but no pullback yet after a decent run......
what "pollution"????
The Polymer Energy System
Polymer Energy® offers a viable, economical and environmentally responsible alternative to current methods of recycling and disposal of plastic waste. The Polymer Energy system uses catalytic pyrolysis to efficiently convert plastics (primarily polyolefins) into crude oil.
The Polymer Energy system is modular in design. A single module can produce up to 775 litres of crude oil for every ton of typical plastic waste processed. System capacity can range from 200 tons to 400 tons of plastic wastes processed per month. Overall plant capacity can be easily scaled up by adding additional modules.
The Polymer Energy system is very robust by design, and can easily handle plastic that is contaminated with other kinds of waste such as metals, glass, dirt, water, etc. The system can tolerate up to 25% of other waste in the input plastic waste stream. As a result, a key advantage of this process is that the plastic wastes do not need to be pre-sorted, cleaned or dried prior to processing, which in turn significantly reduces the overall cost of operation.
The output crude oil is high-grade and can be further processed in a refinery or used to power low-rpm machines such as electric generation turbines.
We also provide consulting services for recycling polymeric materials into fuels for use in the generation of power or energy, including converting plastic waste into fuels and other value added products.

wow, the trend continues.......
another nice write up for ntic:)
You've Got to Check out These 3 Sleeper Stocks
Ian Wyatt, On Friday July 9, 2010, 9:42 am EDT
In yesterday's letter, Making the Microcap Index Adds Cache, I wrote that "Several of the companies that have been selected to join the [Russell] microcap index have the potential to make significant gains over the second half of this year - but just making the index alone doesn't guarantee share price appreciation. The companies need to perform - and we only want to get in on the best ones."
Today I'm introducing you to three of the best. These are three tiny companies that have to potential for eye popping gains. Of course, they are risky investments as well simply because of their miniscule size - but it's much more likely that a sub-$100 million market cap company will triple, or more, in size than a company worth $5 billion. ...
Sleeper Stock #1: Northern Technologies International Corporation (NasdaqGM:NTIC - News)
Northern Technology International Corporation makes protective coatings and eco-friendly polymer resin compounds. It's a tiny company, the market cap is only $42 million, and it trades on very thin volume of only around 2,000 shares a day - so be aware that share price volatility is the norm. Despite its tiny size, the company has international exposure - in the last quarter 20 percent of sales came from outside of the U.S.
Northern Technology's stock price has been strong over the last year. After hitting a low of $5 last June it has risen nearly 100% to close at $9.85 yesterday. The stock is trading in a nice upward channel, and has recently pulled back to a level that suggests now is a great time to buy.
Analysts are forecasting strong earnings growth of 156 percent this year and 70 percent in 2011. And I'm not talking just pennies in earnings either like many micro-caps report - Northern Tech is expected to earn $0.50 per share this year. What's more, income growth isn't just about cutting costs. Revenue growth is projected to be 42 percent this year, and 36 percent in 2011.
The company has no long-term debt, but also doesn't have a ton of cash on hand - so cash flow is absolutely critical. With a forward PE of just 11.6 and a PEG ratio of .79, Northern Technologies is a sleeper stock worth your attention if you can handle the nightmarish liquidity.
