NSBK only lost 33K for the 2nd quarter of 2014.
I'm surprised that this little bank is still around. Their assets have fallen to just over 20 million. I assume their doors will be slammed shut any day now.
I'm very happy with it too and expect the pps to rise further over the coming weeks.
I'm happy with NHLD. Considering the PE multiple, it's holding up pretty good.
I never hopped on this one either. I wish the bank well but things just don't look too good.
I never jumped in on this one for three reasons: losing money, troubled asset ratio over 100 and non-SEC reporting.
My assumption is that NSBK might be the next bank on the FDIC chopping block. This little financial institution just lost over 400K for the fourth quarter.
I was hoping NSBK's quarterly would pack a punch. Instead, it appears the bank was punched in the gut. Unless there is a drastic turnaround next quarter, I think Northern Star's days are numbered.
My call was just returned. They do not owe TARP.
I just called the bank and the lady I spoke with said that she didn't think the bank owed TARP money. She transferred me to a bank honcho but he wasn't there. I left a message. I assume he'll get back in touch with me as soon as he can, hopefully today.
Yeah, that's what I looked at.
Bank tracker doesn't report them as owing TARP. I'll probably call the bank at some point this week and see what they have to say. I think there might be some potential here.
Any TARP money? I can't find any, but always good to ask others.
I think this little bank could be packing a big punch in their 2nd quarterly.
