You don’t have to do anything. But if you sell from a CDN accout you will pay a fairly hefty currency scalp per trade. You might consider setting up a TD USD account, even if it’s a registered account, and transfer the shares into there. Then you don’t pay a scalp until you want to convert USD back into CDN if you ever want to.
Yes Avockil I remember like it was yesterday lol, but unfortunately we all have 1/10 the shares we had when that Elliot wave prediction surfaced.
Oh the good ole days. LoL
That is what I though too, why, otherwise the next procedure.....
Well if you predict 114 $ this remembers me on a time back in year 2016 where the share price was expected to reach 116 Dollars.
Pretty near prediction of yours, but I expect you are talking about USD.
Andre Tiedje an elliot wave expert predicted 116 canadian dollar, what would be round about 80 USD now.
So we are doing better now when looking in a bright future Niocorp and their investors. LOL
Here the link to the former share price encrease expected. Sorry unfortunately I can only handover it in German language.:

Yes Walter, and emphasize "best conditions." It is my understanding that the terms of the EXIM loan, assuming it is approved, will be significantly more favorable than most any other debt financing NB could arrange.
Hey Walter, that sounds encouraging …!
Well if we can wrangle out an NPV of 4 billion, and we have 35 million shares outstanding, that comes out to around $114 per share.
That’s a far cry from six dollars lol
You price at the close of trading will be converted into US dollars before the next day opening. That is solely my opinion. Best you call your brokerage house to verify.
Nothing, just contact TD. Change won't impact you at all
what does that mean ??
I would guess his shares would convert to the OTC on a currency calculation.
thanks
I will contact TD
Contact TD, you do NOT have to sell your shares if you want to continue holding. Most likely you will have to do nothing
I realize that. That's what I'm afraid of. LOL
Like exchanges of posts between Monocle and LCP77 this morning, giving me things to watch out.
The Exim loan has to pass through 3 stages of which stage 1 is the most important; We have passed the 1st stage; Not one company that has passed stage 1 has been refused;.
This is indeed not the fastest process but when succesful it gives the best conditions.
They are obligated to get the best possible price whether it goes private or public it doesn’t matter they have obligations to seek the best possible price
True. This agreement was a weirdly short-term fix. That 7 million can't last them very far into June let alone December when the final payment is due.
Walterc, I must give you and the Belgium’s a lot of credit. To do this event for around $1,300.00 is impressive. It sounded like a great event, and I wish I could have been there. The fact that jeunke22 guaranteed financing and the start of mine construction will happen in 2024 makes me excited. Do you and others at the event have as much confidence as Jeunke22??? The wait has been long but hearing the Belgium’s speak and put money where their mouth is gives me hope. Was a merger or partnership part of any discussion?
ok all Canadian investors
Being delisted on the TSX has left me baffled
so do I dump my stock or will they automatically be picked up by the US side? I bank on TD and have no clue
HELP
True. However if they tap that they will have given up a $million in fees and 600,000ish $3.35 wts for the privaledge of more toxic bid pounding convertsble debt.
Here is my guess about ExIm loan: The loan is for constructions of Elk Creek project, not for NB to be used on company operation expenses.
We might wait for ExIm loan approval longer than expected.
Hopefully at least 6usd/share so I can keep my skin and a little beer money. I shudder at the possible details of that type of deal with little voting clout left in retail and extremely low cost basis for the current voting powers.
They do still have $50million left on the original Yorkville deal, could they tap that? Interesting times indeed.
May 27 thru May 31. Niocorp needs the stock above $3.30 with volume or the debt repayment starts in June to avoid default. Will be interesting to see how they plan to pull that off.
Well Jim always did emphasize all the other companies that Mark was with were mostly private companies US vanadium US R.E.M. etc
But what is that going to get us?
Interesting. Jay and Dean would have an outsized say in any acquisition proposals. Between them, they have tons of shares, plus the ability to buy more votes through exercising warrants. Neither one of them has much skin in the game as of yet...
Maybe this is what they were angling for all along, a quick sale. Pure speculation of course, but interesting to think about.
That's why I didn't expect a big jump in prices after the weekend (answering Rader1977 comment). Big news would have changed that, but I don't think we have to wait for a conference to hear about it.
Reading about Nickel Alliance's off-take and investment deal with Stellantis is interesting.
The preliminary agreement was announced in October 2022 and the definitive final agreement in April 2023. Roughly 6 months from start to finish, Niocorp is approaching 10 months.
Encouraging for investors here, this agreement was finalized and included Stellantis buying over 9 million euros worth of stock, that is an 11% stake, and Nickel Alliance still has not completed a feasibility study. In May last year they announced it would be done by the end of 2023, still not done yet though. They announced there would be a delay in october.
Maybe this delay is why Stellantis is hesitating here? Once bitten twice shy?
I do agree with you ge11, that things seem to look pretty neat and tidy.
$$$
Just strikes me as odd, that they would send the TSX hiking to save a few dollars(comparably), when they just made rancid decisions that lost tens of millions for the company and shareholders.
Such a decision to oust the TSX has to come down to NioCorp being acquired(a good thing). Otherwise it just doesn’t make sense to me as a sound corporate decision.
But what do I know,, (I think to much)
Shrug.
Sorry to say this, but a 10-year low is hardly a buy signal, it's that simple.
Hoping grunt23 can update and share his new projections....Go NioCorp!!
Thanks jeunke22 for your post #111016 4/20/24 5:08am
I hope he posters who post some financial estimates catch this post ... about the investor event in Antwerp
You can also look at it the other way around: The fact that participants did not run home to sell their shares immediately shows that they continue to trust the management board!
Financing is still open, and planning remains good. No other facts were presented. So why should investors buy more shares?
Hi ont, yep I remember you. I've been out for awhile too, still find the story compelling though. Don't worry message board pitch forks don't hurt lol
Why are you calculating reverse split prices? Those companies have not done a reverse split, they still trade OTC.
Interest from Stellantis and the letter from EXIM weren't announced until well after the merger was announced in Sept 2022. Niocorp first applied to EXIM in February 2023 and reached their preliminary agreement with Stellantis in July. Niocorp merged because they were desperate for cash. Even they knew the high redemption rate was a strong possibility. That's why the toxic agreement with Yorkville was so big, up to $65million. I think that large number, and the fact that the only used 1/5 of it, might show that they badly underestimated how damaging Yorkville would be.
And why do you respond to my posts without reading them?
Super busy at work Tuesday so not sure I can post too much but no guarantee I can’t. Your comment “Who needs a third world exchange” was really funny!l good one Putz.
That crossed my mind that folks overseas already have enough shares but I would expect a greater uptick on NASDAQ against the background of Yorkville selling which is why I asked yesterday what trading platforms do most folks in Europe use. Anyways, I’m glad the conference went well and attendees and the organizer are so organized and for the most part on the same page. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the PP Presentation. If you have a recorded version of the conference you would be willing to share, I think that would benefit all shareholders and the share price as the shareholder base as a whole is thirsty for a live or virtual update from mgt.. Thanks again.
I know Walter. You put out a lot of time, effort and money to put these events on without compensation. A good alternative would be if MS does a Zoom shareholder conference update for US and Canada but if NioCorp is close to financing (hopefully) there probably is no time to put that together but if NioCorp is months away, I welcome it.
because we organized a presentation event in total for 300 positive shareholders at a cost of 1225 euros for Niocorp.
If Demolition man can do the same Mark will gladly come .
Hi
people do not rush out of the room to buy shares; All these 300 people that attended the meetings on Friday and Saturday have a lot of shares already and are happy that they invested in the right stock. and make sure they keep their shares as they expect BIG wins .
I am one of these idiots that is never paid by the companies that he is invested in but expects BIG wins on Niocorp and can wait for that to happen , does enormous amount of dd and is not reading the crap on this message board anymore every day; ( with crap I am referring to the bashers, naysayers and people who sold but find it pleasant to annoy the positive posters; I have most of them on ignore and that sleeps better) I will be in Denver in May for the ASM of my other big investment and will hopefully meet management of Niocorp that is about 2 km away from my other meeting.
Yes and that was Nasdaq only.
100,000 Nasdaq
30,000 TSX —- = 30% bye bye TSX
Who needs a third world exchange.
***********
Right DOA?
You win LoL
Imo it is so there won’t be 4 decimal points in the Nasdaq share price. LoL
Lame
******
Waiting for the AO show to start again.
If the Belgium presentations were as good as people say, why didn't all the attendees rush home and call their brokers to buy more shares?
Monday volume was <100,000. A normal trading day.
NCT, love how everyone characterizes someone who doesn’t bash mgt as defending mgt. Never said a thing about mgt. just know what I know, which is 2008-2012 was a horrible recession. It started with the collapse of Washington Mutual, World Savings, tumbled Lehman Brothers, AIG and the economy and caused massive foreclosures and lay offs. If you had been through that, you would be wary too to see a crescendo of banks starting with SVB to collapse like dominoes. Again, First Republic Bank was the 2nd largest bank to fail in the history of the US with about 82 branches in 8 states. If I was head of one of those banks on the list that Ski Funds/Ski Luc posted, I wouldn’t convert my shares either. I would opt for capital preservation and redeem which is what most of them did. Nobody knows for sure why each company decided to convert or redeem and unless each one of these companies was interviewed as to the reason why they converted or redeemed, we can only speculate and hold on to our opinion as to why. It’s a subject horse that’s been beaten down to a midget sized emaciated mule so hope we can all move on. “Nothing to see hear folks. Keep moving down the road!” As for financing, yes, let’s bring on the Belgian gypsy fortune tellers wearing De Beers diamond jewelry carrying pocket sized Quija Boards and munching on Neuhaus Belgian chocolate and make this financing a REALITY!
AO- I gotta give it to you man....... working a job and fighting with everyone on the board in defense of mangle-ment...... Oh and in the interest of full disclosure and transparency, i am squarely in the camp that does not believe that the SVB and other regional bank spooked the entire nation and adversely affected financial activity, tho. like Covid, it was a good excuse for shit that didn't work out financially for companies during that flash in time, but many of the SPAC investors were bailing before that event..... and knew they could still get in with warrants to get a piece of the pie (they probably had TH on speed dial).... let's face it, the GX SPAC was in desperate straights, ready to fold up with no merger target coming into the 11th hour... and they saw NB coming' (imo)....... somebody probly knew somebody who went skiing in Vail or sailing in the Bahamas with one of the SPAC'ler folks and over a few drinks and a few more drinks and maybe some smoke..... well, we all know the 'REST of the story'.... But hey..... let's look ahead, don't look at the carnage in the rear view mirror...... this GLASS is HALF FULL DAMMMIT!!! let's go NB, let's finish this quarter with some 'Belgium Magic' dammmit!! ENGAGE ALREADY!!! (chico reference)...
Yaddda Yadddda and BLAH BLAH.........
Another week.... another month...... another QUARTER..... what's a few more months/years...... these mines take time don't ya know!!
NCT
I wouldn’t read too much in to why Mark went to Belgium not Elk Creek. First off, my guess is NioCorp didn’t pay to rent the venue, didn’t provide meals to the attendees, didn’t fly 5 or 6 employees out to set up the conference hall or present (SH and JS), pay for 5-6 hotel rooms, didn’t have Scott Honan there, Jim Sims, Neil Shah, Jeff Mason, caterers, a televised or recorded session or souvenirs (hats, mugs etc). All those things occur when NioCorp presents in Elk Creek or Tecumseh. It’s a big production and very expensive. Elk Creek will get their presentation as soon as NioCorp gets financed. Hopefully soon!

NioCorp Developments Ltd. is a U.S.-based mineral development company focused on developing several superalloy metals from the proposed Elk Creek, Nebraska Critical Minerals Mine. NioCorp plans to produce three commercial mineral products — Niobium, Scandium, and Titanium — from a single ore body in the Midwestern United States. NioCorp's Elk Creek Project is highly unique. It is North America's only niobium / scandium / titanium project. It is the highest grade niobium project in North America. It is one of the largest prospective producers of scandium in the world. Once in production, it will initiate the first production in the U.S. in decades of Niobium and Scandium. All three of the Project's proposed superalloy metals have been designed as "Critical Minerals" by the U.S. Government.
NioCorp is a publicly company that is listed on both the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "NB" and on the U.S.-based OTCQX exchange under the symbol "NIOBF." Shares are also traded on the Frankfurt Exchange, under the ticker symbol "BR3."

Overview of the Elk Creek Project: http://www.niocorp.com/elk-creek-project/
U.S. Geological Society description of Elk Creek Carbonatite
"The Elk Creek carbonatite, located south of Lincoln, has the potential to be one of the largest global resources of niobium and rare-earth elements (REE). These REE's have many important applications in industry, including petroleum-cracking catalysis, steel alloying, and glass polishing, and as sources of permanent magnets and phosphorus for television and lighting.
The Elk Creek carbonatite is buried beneath about 500 feet of overlying rock and is known only from drill cores, which, until recently, have remained proprietary. Scientists from the USGS and the Conservation and Survey Division (CSD) of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln have studied drill cores."

About NioCorp
NioCorp is developing a superalloy materials project in Southeast Nebraska that will produce niobium, scandium, and titanium. Niobium is used to produce superalloys as well as High Strength, Low Alloy ("HSLA") steel, which is a lighter, stronger steel used in automotive, structural, and pipeline applications. Scandium can be combined with Aluminum to make super-high-performance alloys with increased strength and improved corrosion resistance. Scandium also is a critical component of advanced solid oxide fuel cells. Titanium is used in various superalloys and has extensive uses in aerospace, defense, transportation, medical, and other applications. It also is a key component of pigments used in paper, paint and plastics.
