Thanks Walter, I do remover that announcement
As I recall they also stated that they believed they might get around 94% once they had the process optimized. I don’t recall any announcements on separation and purity for the REEs. I am hopeful we will see that next week.
Nice! Thats over a million shares pre-split days!
Today’s trading is not light. 15 minutes to close and volume is above 10-day average.
I agree. And additionally, there is a big difference as well between a great project and great management. I still believe we have the first, I highly doubt that we have the second. I am done with all those ‘potential’ improvements. A higher yield of zero is still zero. In this since 2017 already, no step further than theory since then. I would have been better off investing in my cousin’s local lemonade company.
Yup “ Dark Horse” lol … Titanium jumped on the ‘ bandwagon ‘…congratulations team NioCorp!
Scandium is next with a DOD and/or DOE, stockpile offtake! …
Well the picture that is on my profile is March 20 and is different than the numbers you gave me. (no bid and ask) Elk Creek and GX I I so obviously US denomination
I don’t know how they figured that out but obviously It came from somewhere.
My other this other picture is in Canadian Funds
That picture shows March 21
previous close C$11.30
Current price C$1.13
Down $10.17
percent change -90%
I assume that is the reverse split amount
I’m sure we’re never going to figure it out because we don’t know what the exchange rate is for that day or both days etc. if it’s relevant.
It’s above my pay grade lol
You’re the numbers guy I’ll trust you if you can tell me why my two pictures have the information that I just told you.
Like they say a picture is worth 1000 words and I have two pictures that I just told you about.
I see LWLG is on the move — (up 52% in the past month!) …!

Come on NioCorp!
Fingers’xd
LM.
Construction is estimated to take 3 years; so I guess no production in 2026
I don't understand Putz. There is only one price for NioCorp - Stock price. What is Consummation price? Is that referring to the fixed exchange ratio of 11 for 1 that Mark touted for gxii at .89?
The recovery rate on scandium and rare earths are the same . 92 percent. That was announced a few weeks ago
Thanks grunt23....Have a great Memorial Weekend!!
I am guessing the Sc data
will be included with the REE news. I talked with Scott about this at that mine tour last fall. I asked him about these new processing techniques and the possibility of extracting more Sc. He said the steps for extracting and refining Sc would remain pretty similar to what we have done all along which means the results would be similar. He felt that Sc processing was already optimized and there was little room for improvement. He also said that the processing and separating REEs would be very similar to what is done for Sc. He anticipated that the % extractions would be similar. He concluded with that is opinion right now. The purpose of the demo plant is to prove we can do it and to provide the data we need to finalize the design.
This is my recollection of a conversation more than 6 months ago. I think I have come close to what he said but I may not be dead on.
Nah. Just forming a base of support IMO
C$7.00 , Next week and next month,(which is next week), we should be trending higher. I don’t think the markets going to move until they’re assured of a solid base and a trend.
I could be wrong, but I won’t know that until next week. I thought it would go past a 50 day moving average today but I was wrong.

Yes, PC, 3 PRs this week, and nary a move in the SP! It appears to me that the market may just be done reacting positively to positive news on improved processes, waiting, instead, to see: 1) confirmation of the actual, financial impact in confirmed and calculated dollars as they are positively impacted by such operational improvements, reflected, hopefully, in a new FS, and/or 2) a GENUINE financing plan via EXIM, the German Guarantee, and/or some other non-smoke and mirrors (read, GXII?) financing plan. I remain hopeful (neither optimistic nor pessimistic) that: 1) this management team can pull it off and 2) that it can be done in my lifetime. Finally, let me just note something that is absolutely true but possibly being missed by many on the MB: There is a big difference between a great company and a great stock.
AIMHO and GLTALs.
It looks they are doing it one by one
3 PR's this week Growth, including 2 major positive updates from the demo plant results.

Aren't we on the clock to have an update here shortly? I have been watching this board periodically lately and can't seem to remember where we are at with this development.
So no production until at least 2026?

Niocorp has been a mixed bag since the merger. Two solid releases today with more to come coupled with a few negatives to balance it out. Trading will be slow this afternoon with a long holiday weekend.
Thanks for that but we have our wires crossed. I’m talking insiders. You institutions.
No one said COVID was an "excuse." It was merely the reality of the situation. That was brought up in direct response to the post which mentioned that there was discussion at the NioCorp Annual meeting in late 2019 that we appeared very close to a funding deal, perhaps with a European lender. Of course, COVID hit 2 months later and created a totally risk-off environment where no lenders were doing anything and everything shut down. Personally, I always believed TechMet was going to be involved but they backed away from everything once COVID hit. Again, just the reality of the situation
They are obviously
crunching numbers on the data from L3. They are putting out PRs as results become available. Some of this has come as a pleasant surprise to me. I was expecting REE results, both % extraction and purity. I thought that would be the next big PR and expect we will see that soon. I was not expecting major Nb news. I was hopeful that we could produce Nb oxide, but oxide AND a 4% increase in product never crossed my mind. I have never paid much attention to Ti. I always figured there is quite a bit of it in the ore, we can extract and sell some if it. It is not real valuable and does not contribute a lot to the bottom line. If you extract a bit more or a bit less, that is not real important. But extracting twice as much is quite amazing.
No , and …..
Please don’t make me do this for another tenure of yours.
You’re a smart man, do it yourself.

I swear, being on the fence is so exhausting.
Our government will probably be needing some titanium, as they can not keep track of anything... pathetic!

LMFAOOOOOOO yep and serious investors know that Covid is nothing more than another of Nioturds excuses.
I was thinking the same thing
Pigment grade Ti for the paint industry is a basic commodity. Aerospace grade Ti is completely different: more valuable, in shorter supply, and with limited sources. The Covid pandemic made companies rethink using China as their principal supplier for many items. The same thing is now happening with Russia. I suspect American aerospace industries would much prefer domestic sources of Ti.
Why is it important? Everyone remembers the huge spike up in share price from the .70 range to .822 late in the day on March 20th in anticipation, the day before everything took effect and NB started trading on the NASDAQ, all of which is of no import at this point. Expecting more daily PR's next week on Scandium and the REE's, given that the Niobium results came late yesterday, with the Titanium PR coming out this am, indicating that the PR's will come over several days.
LMFAOOOOOOOO!! Serious investors and traders understand that production does not occur until a mine is built and up and running with full production. SMFH
thx walter. will be great to get feedback on the conference.

LMFAOOOOOOO--More lipschtick!
We've got one more critical mineral of the group of 3 to hear about (scandium). Although it is partially related to the REEs group, especially concerning processing via separation from the rare earths. I wonder if they will report it alone or with the REEs. Hoping that news will get out next week.
News releases like these historically haven't done much for the share price.
This sounds like a lengthy process, I'm guessing 2024 for new feasibility study.
Final determination of planned titanium production can be made only after work related to a mineral reserve update, additional engineering, updated project capital and operating cost estimates, and other required information is produced for publication in a new feasibility study.
Grunt, thanks for crunching #'s. Its been a good week for PR's: 4% increase in Niobium, Double production for Titanium and joining the Russell 3000.
Walter, remind us what dates the Belgium NioCorp Conference is taking place. Thanks
I’m sure the kool-aid will be served up thick as the rose colored glasses are passed out.
As I’ve said, Nioturd is nothing more than an OTC with lipstick. (NASDAQ)
Clock is ticking on NIOTURDS recent missed filing date.
Hopefully REE's.
Thank You Grunt for updates. Those potential dollars boggle my mind, and it's hard to understand the pps at this level when I can see what we have on that little 60 acre parcel is just the tip of the iceberg. I suspect the best is yet to come.
Shaping operation for tomorrow’s big presentation. Should be interesting to hear the fanboy’s spin on it. I think Yorkville will want volume and to keep the vwap stable or lowering.
The recent news, which really amounts to the news of April 3rd, rehashed with lipstick added should make for a pump frenzy………
Good Morning:
I guess is time to put some dollar number to previously posted titanium data.
Will use the previous post as reference:
The June 2022 technical study reports 4,221 kilotons of titanium. Or 111 kilotons of titanium per year (using the 38-year life expectancy of the mine). Increasing the recovery rate by 50%, would give us 166 kilotons of titanium per year, for our purpose we need to convert to KG, so that becomes 166,000,000 KG per year.
By increasing the purity of the titanium, it could be sold as titanium oxide, which sells in the neighborhood of $4 to $5 per KG.
So instead of the reported 88 cents per KG we would obtain $4.00 per KG. Very simply, our little gem would provide $664,000,0000.00 of revenue annually. (Instead of the $146 million used in the current technical study).
So now we have $1,336,500,000.00 (post # 96117) from the improved niobium production and the $664,000,000 revenue from the titanium.
In the past I have posted potential profits from the REE's. It is much simpler to arrive at revenues from them. That could very well be past $200 million revenue from the REE's alone. Then of course we have the Scandium. Need to work on that at a later time.
Just wanted show the gigantic possibilities form the Elk Creek mine. For the hell of it, I will say it again, only 60 acres are included on this report.
Expression of my opinion and calculations.
Have a great day!
Wondering if we see a titanium offtake agreement soon?
I look forward to Grunts estimate in profit improvement from the recent announcement about Ti.
I don’t want to expect too much but…… Two good PRs in 2 days? Wow! I got the feeling, NioCorp has legs today!! Show is on!
Good news, still only one step towards the FS with the $$$ in it
Thanks for your estimate Grunt. I may not agree with your estimate of a 50-50 split. Even a 75%(FeNb)-25%(NbO) would be a substantial boost in the project's profit.

NioCorp Developments Ltd. is a U.S.-based mineral development company focused on developing several superalloy metals from the proposed Elk Creek, Nebraska Critical Minerals Mine. NioCorp plans to produce three commercial mineral products — Niobium, Scandium, and Titanium — from a single ore body in the Midwestern United States. NioCorp's Elk Creek Project is highly unique. It is North America's only niobium / scandium / titanium project. It is the highest grade niobium project in North America. It is one of the largest prospective producers of scandium in the world. Once in production, it will initiate the first production in the U.S. in decades of Niobium and Scandium. All three of the Project's proposed superalloy metals have been designed as "Critical Minerals" by the U.S. Government.
NioCorp is a publicly company that is listed on both the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "NB" and on the U.S.-based OTCQX exchange under the symbol "NIOBF." Shares are also traded on the Frankfurt Exchange, under the ticker symbol "BR3."

Overview of the Elk Creek Project: http://www.niocorp.com/elk-creek-project/
U.S. Geological Society description of Elk Creek Carbonatite
"The Elk Creek carbonatite, located south of Lincoln, has the potential to be one of the largest global resources of niobium and rare-earth elements (REE). These REE's have many important applications in industry, including petroleum-cracking catalysis, steel alloying, and glass polishing, and as sources of permanent magnets and phosphorus for television and lighting.
The Elk Creek carbonatite is buried beneath about 500 feet of overlying rock and is known only from drill cores, which, until recently, have remained proprietary. Scientists from the USGS and the Conservation and Survey Division (CSD) of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln have studied drill cores."

About NioCorp
NioCorp is developing a superalloy materials project in Southeast Nebraska that will produce niobium, scandium, and titanium. Niobium is used to produce superalloys as well as High Strength, Low Alloy ("HSLA") steel, which is a lighter, stronger steel used in automotive, structural, and pipeline applications. Scandium can be combined with Aluminum to make super-high-performance alloys with increased strength and improved corrosion resistance. Scandium also is a critical component of advanced solid oxide fuel cells. Titanium is used in various superalloys and has extensive uses in aerospace, defense, transportation, medical, and other applications. It also is a key component of pigments used in paper, paint and plastics.
