I added 12% to my NRO holding the other day aty $4.59/share. That translates to an effective yield of around 9.8%.
With 20 Year US Treasuries paying 2.88% with no inflation protection, why wouldn't someone want to own REITs?
I've owned NRO off and on for ~25 years. It's not been a smooth ride, but it has paid a lot of bills over that time frame. Decent yield, secondary inflation hedge and competent management keeps me owning it. I'll add again to my position should the price drop another 10%.
