COME ON JIMMMMMMBO, THIS SLOGAN IS GETTING TO OLD !!!
HOW ABOUT SOMETHING NEW !!!
BUY THE WAY, IS YOUR SHARE ACCUMULATION CROSSED THE 10 MILLION MARK ??
PEOPLE MAGAZINE NEEDS TO KNOW.
A distinction without a difference in this case.
BTW, show us where SHMP sold the millions of shrimp they allegedly grew from the millions of PLs they bought.
I think you may be conflating operating expenses with costs of goods sold.
I was driving in the Florida Everglades and saw a Buick Electra 225 with cane poles hanging out the back window. They had a bait bucket in the trunk with shrimp in it. That should be their target customer, the welfare funded leisure fishermen.
Nicole....see their description of the fresh shrimp on the Harvest Select website:
"Our fresh, heads off, shrimp ranges in sizes from 20-25 grams (including heads). Each order contains a total of 5 biodegradable trays (equalling 5lbs total) that are vacuum-sealed to preserve quality and freshness."
Maybe Billy Mumy can write a catchy tune about shrimp heads.
Hey ! We like black stained shrimp heads !! When you boil them they might turn purple or violet ! Roast those heads and smoke ‘em
Anything goes with SHMP
What a surprise! So now SHMP is processing shrimp. Hope they have a HACCP.
Funny that someone placing an order on line gets 5 pounds of shrimp…of unknown count.
Oh…and there’s no mention oh heads-on or -off. Sure…there’s a photo of heads-off shrimp…but in SHMP’s How It Works description, there’s a photo of packaged heads-on shrimp.
SHMP…still not ready for prime time.
SHMPoo. Rinse. Repeat.
PS. Who is Nicole?
How can we forget the black ink stains !!!! Remember that SHMP fiasco ?
Of course they have to remove the heads using their process
Nicole, NSI doesn't sell "heads on" any longer online. You should try and keep up. Thanks for keeping up with the property taxes owing, I appreciate it!
Add another $67,500 to each quarter’s operating expenses…
It would take a lot of buttery taste for me to enjoy shrimp that cost $4,444.00 and $6,000.00 per pound to produce
I would switch to Kobe beef
Just to be clear, the Hamilton County (Iowa) tax assessor's web site still shows that SHMP hasn't paid its real estate taxed of $129K for the first half of 2024. The payment was due in March.
https://beacon.schneidercorp.com/Application.aspx?AppID=1186&LayerID=35358&PageTypeID=4&PageID=13451&Q=461035258&KeyValue=40892532452005
So...SHMP's 2024 tax bill for the year will be ~$258K. That's almost 26,000 pounds of shrimp to be sold (at $10 a pound) just to pay the tax bill. Forget payroll, utilities, PLs....
Is there something wrong with my numbers ? I have given you the CURRENT cost per pound for SHMP TO OPERATE and sell their shrimp, calculated per pound
Ford reported $176.2 billion revenue on 4.4 million vehicles realizing an average cost of $40,045 per vehicle. Is this accurate, no Ford sells many different products and has a credit arm, but statistics says that is their 2023 avg cost per vehicle
SHMP sells for all practical purposes exactly ONE product. Chef Doobie’s sauces are not statistically relevant.
So Homegrown's processing costs are covered by the retail price. SHMP does minimal pricing and sells HEADS ON. Almost, but not quite, apples and oranges. Oh...and then there's that COUNT thing.
First, SHMP has to spend the capital to be able to process (though they might consider paying their property taxes first).
I love the twist on numbers, I truly do.😆 Unlike most SHMP shareholders I can read and understand a filing, maybe not to EQ or UF's proficiency. I'm no cheerleader pumper or agenda driven basher... I'm just a trader.
The question needs to be shifted to how Homegrown's total sales are these retail sales? And what does Homegrown get on the "wholesale" market.
Looking at half the picture is not looking at the picture.
Perhaps annual real estate taxes in excess of $232K...for starters?
Sir tries to sell at $12.50 per pound. Do you remember when shrimp was getting clearly $22. How did that work out. I can place for sale paper clips on Amazon at 30 dollars per hundred. Doesn't mean I'm getting that. I can assure you the sales are small if that.
Oh I see. Can I tell that secret to Homegrown. I have this great idea and I'm sure you do also. Sell to Asian Markets. Pure genius.
I just told them. They said good luck with that.
Based on their reported $26,000 last last quarter revenue they harvested somewhere between 1,500 and 2,500 pounds
Each quarter their total cost to operate (from their filings) is $10,000,000
Their TOTAL cost per pound is somewhere between $6,666.00 and $4,000.00 PER POUND
After 23 years of mismanagement, producing MORE shrimp doesn’t necessarily mean more profit as with SHMP, their overhead is likely to go up. With SHMP, one never knows, in my opinion
Blah blah blah....$0.0101!!!!!!! All you need to know!
I know you thought I was an insider, guess what, I'm not. I am in the SHMP dark just like everyone else (growing like a mushroom). June 30th (10K) we may get some numbers unfortunately they will be 3-6 months old by then and I suspect not very good once more.
LD, you can't reason with people who can't understand basic concepts. We've just provided 3 examples and still can't grasp the concept. Don't waste the skin of your fingers on the keyboard.
The higher price is because of the overhead and logistical costs associated with getting the shrimp from the gulf to farther away destinations
The acquisition cost to the dealer/wholesaler is exactly the same at the point of origin
What is SHMP’s cost per pound ? How many pounds did they sell last month or last 3 months ?
I don't follow HomeGrown, I have no CPF shares, why would I care. If you point is a higher than commodity price point isn't attainable, I beg to differ, it's obvious the further away from the Gulf that one gets the higher the price point is. It's not a hard concept.
Yes I can read, can you ? how many restaurants, hotels, and institutional customers (that purchase in bulk) does Homegrown have ? Answer - none or damn near none
Can you read? HomeGrown! NSI is about $14.66 per ib online, tails only + shipping so almost the same price in the end.
And how many wholesale customers to they have ??? Hotels, restaurants, etc ? Answer none or damn near none. How many local wholesale customers do they have ? Zero. The market is $4-$5 ( plus S&H ) and $2.50 - $3.25 if you drive to the dock and buy from the boat
How much does a restaurant have to charge for a pound of shrimp that cost them $15.00 ?
Good presentation. I take exception to the "lucky if we can get five dollars per lb". Robins clearly gets $12.50 per lb online. https://homegrownshrimp-usa.com/shop/
DefamationsUFlash, I haven’t seen shrimp grading “B or C or select” but see the standard for the industry as 10-15 count ( per pound) 20-24 16-20 etc, but have seen the B or C rating given for prawns.
Are you suggesting SHMP products should be compared to prawns ?
I've asked before and no one answered seriously, what COGS are different for NSI than a biofloc RAS Shrimp farmer?
Let me help you out. Made a quick call to the company. Pricing: Asian Markets (Chicago and Minneapolis) is $10.50/LB. Harvest Select (B to C) is $17.80/LB., under the Sun shrimp delivered price. Go back to you dirt pond shrimp farmer for more of that $3/LB Bird shit eating stuff.
You will never understand, because your bias will never allow it.
Very good job addressing the elephant in the room. Hard time getting $5 a pound. By the way, no secret who the other PL suppliers who are. However, you are buying from Homegrown. If your cost Is over $5 or even $4.50, you don't have a business.
Maybe SHMP Loses money selling shrimp because COGS is too high? Thatd explain why theyre afraid of selling to anyone who isn't a food court visitor!!
An angry little bird today. They are one of three suppliers BTW.
Here is your issue. When you spew garbage to people that know the facts, it's still garbage. Allow me to give you some FACTS that are verifiable if you choose to make a call. Anyone can also make the call.
Please watch this video. This is who SHMP buys their PL's from.
JIMBO...COME ON BUDDY.....TELL US HAW MANY SHARES YOU'VE LOADED UP ON ???
ARE YOU GONNA CHALLENFE NVDA'S TAKEOVER WITH YOUR OWN ???
WE ALL SUPPORT YOU !! GO FOR IT !!
$10,000,000 For F&T (which turned out to be $7,000,000)
$12,500,000 for Hydrenesis aquaculture assets
Fair enough, I'm not arguing against it being more efficient than biofloc: It does seem to have good results in the trials (seem doing a lot of work in that sentence, as we haven't gotten much in terms of any trial results)
At this point though, given all the tests conducted, it would seem like some business would be interested in buying your equipment, if it was indeed more efficient than biofloc.
I would like to believe you but this doesn't seem to add up.
You and your B team brother just don't get it. Never will due to your agenda. Can't explain it any better. Keep twisting .....
Oh, so this $12,500,000 asset purchase can be found on exactly what line under ASSETS in SHMP’s very own officially filed financial statements ?
Please help me, I can’t see to find it.
Go ahead take your time…
In chess I would call this “check mate”
Good luck finding that $12,500,000 asset
Whatever happened, it looks like $12,500,000 in the beginning of November 2021 quickly became $10,492,000 some 45 days later. Where did $2 million vanish to ?
Another question, how does and why does SHMP carry a $6,000,000 asset value on their patent that doesn’t seem to work…and definitely does not work without Hydrenesis and or a Chinese off the shelf wastewater treatment plant available to anyone with a credit card deliverable to anywhere on earth within 24 hours utilizing the DHL system like Peteygrams and Luke Timmons did, as documented.
Why can’t anyone else do it ?

SHMP’s $10M “tech” worked so well…they had to go out and LICENSE more “tech”. SHMP has reported zero revenue from licensing EC or leasing out Hydrenesis’ “tech”.
You really can't read can you? The asset is the WORLDWIDE LICENSE. Sheesh....
Utah my good friend, only you could attempt to spin these words from SHMP, whereas purchasing the assets one day turned out to be an equipment rights the very next day.
A distinction without a difference. WY has still nailed down SHMP to a T.
Patience. Millions of dollars invested in Biofloc, including Natural Shrimp prior to their change out. Why do you think there are so many bashers here. EVERY Biofloc operator will go out of business using Biofloc. Already happening. Simple reason: Cannot get density levels high enough to generate profitability. NSI gets 4X density level. Simplest explanation available.

NaturalShrimp, Inc. (OTCQB: SHMP) announced today that it completed testing its patented technology to grow shrimp indoors with onsite Shrimp Lot 180.
“The method worked extremely well and maintained the water control parameters within acceptable limits through the grow-out period,” said Bill G. Williams,
Chairman and CEO. With the results and the hard data now recorded, the acquisition of additional new systems will allow NaturalShrimp to facilitate roll-out
and expansion by adding additional harvests to present capability. This new equipment will enable NaturalShrimp to increase operations, while at the same
time providing additional R&D development for continuous innovation. The Company said it anticipates issuing additional news about its partial harvest soon.
The Company said it was cleared to harvest shrimp on February 21, 2019 by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). The TPWD is a Texas State
Agency. The TPWD also conducted an onsite inspection of the shrimp and the Company’s production facility on February 22, 2019. (Article is linked above)
