Everyone was warned years ago about old Ward. If you bought, that is your own fault
I wonder what the SEC is going to be looking for... Those who had constant conversations with CMW might be concerned. Does anyone think they traded on rumors? HMMMMM. My gut says the investigation broadens...
I always posted about MRGE and power up..I was belittled by many..unfortunately, I hope and pray MRGE gets brought into this...MW and his family legacy has always been about taking shareholders money... I'll take a pipeline or oil well deal, but my heart says hang this guy... Consistent late filings delivering huge riches to the financer and Ward, needs investigation... and yes I too filed an query with the SEC..I hate lying cheating scumbags.. It really Sucks still being a huge shareholder, and original believer, but WARD is a bad person..
Be interesting to see how many companies were hit with failure to remain current penalties and mirage always was. I for one hope the SEC digs into this.
And MW not taking phone calls or answering texts. Hmmmm, must be busy at his new job.
I'm surprised MRGE wasn't mentioned. I see PCTL was.
Maybe MRGE shareholders can get some money back
Texas has an entire family located in San Antonio too..
So he’s not answering any of your calls or texts but not too worry because he isn’t answering anyone’s? And you’re not smart enough to figure out the party is over imo?
No wonder there’s so many crooks from Long Island. Apparently there’s a lot of slow people in other parts of the country that they prey on.
Yes, I knew that. And Al Simon and his crew ..many others
Even MW’s good friend Jack whom most of you know as Florida was from Long Island. Go figure.
Seems like a lot of these types of crooks are from Long Island
Going to the summit? I wonder if he's going to jail. Power up is under investigation by the SEC...I am busy at work, maybe Kaemrjs can help me with a link..
No, they have not completed the expansion. According to this website, the start year is 2026.
https://www.gem.wiki/Energia_Mayakan_Pipeline#cite_note-:7-10
https://app-cfe-mx.translate.goog/Aplicaciones/OTROS/Boletines/boletin?i=3779&_x_tr_sl=es&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp
Did they actually complete that pipeline, I lost track? Heck I remember the celebration they had in Yucatan one day with a huge pipeline hanging in the background - that line was supposed to be only 10 kilometers or something.
I doubt it, I stopped forwarding all those conference notices to him, he never responds, in fact he doesnt respond to any of my calls or texts (limited), I have no idea why but am being told not to feel bad about it, it's not my issue.
If he hasn’t done a private placement to pay for his fat ass to stay at the four seasons I’d say no. Besides, he’s busy closing on oil wells
Anyone know if Ward is going to this summit next week?
https://www.mexicogassummit.com/
Get out your shine box sheinbaum gonna wax us all . This the play happy feet happy ending . Mike Ward coming to town for Mother’s Day taking him deep sea wishing . Chumming the waters with slick Mike the greasiest slime ball ever eel head mike
lol, Ward is negotiating the best deal possible for shareholders? Lol. Bwahaaaaaaaaa
You got it all wrong dude...Are you on quaaludes? (Stinky is rubbing off on me..beep beep) CMW is still negotiating the best deal possible for shareholders....As for sheinbaum and Nahale, Ward hired a PR person with connections that will push us past the finish line..
I see Nahle hanging out with the front runner Sheinbaum. Who we all know was against CMW. If Sheinbaum wins mirage is toast imo. And I say toast because this jackass can’t even close on a couple of scummy oil wells. Must be the Mexicans fault again
No rumors. Absolutely nothing will happen. You guys are beating a dead horse.
Sounds good..But it would be a first!
Good volume today, maybe the rumor is true..
Thanks Mike..Let's hope the new administration acts upon its words and doesn't give a speach every morning. Some of the members of the "Energy Sector" are tired of hearing him speak.
Thanks Mike. Good post
I hear you. But we are talking about the same country that never executed the third infrastructure package - despite AMLO saying it would be announced before the end of January 2022, the same country that has failed to execute on any natural gas storage despite talking about it for 25 years. The same country that took years to come to an agreement with the French company Engie over the expansion of the Mayakan pipeline, to the point that it appeared the project was no longer happening.
If the pre-work and research has indeed been done, I truly can't see them being that picky. As for the filings, as we've seen, it is entirely possible for us to get completely caught up in a short period. We have at least until the next administration, so we have some months. Silva has stated that the geological evaluation of the Brasil field has already been done. Where else would these blueprints that would have taken years of research have come from?
Here is a research article from 2019 that considers the possible scenarios of getting gas into the Brasil field.
http://www.ptolomeo.unam.mx:8080/xmlui/handle/132.248.52.100/17126
(The following list and image taken from page 68 - 69 of the document.)
The possible ways it lists are:
1) Supply through the National Gas Pipeline System operated by the SISTRANGAS Reynosa-Matamoros section, delivering production from the north of the country, from the CPG Burgos.
2) Supply through the Rio Bravo import point, through an interconnection with the
Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company.
3) Natural gas delivery through Brownsville import point fueling.
4) Supply through the Concho-El Progreso gas pipeline planned by the Mirage company, designed as a new import point in the northern part of the country in Nuevo Progreso, the pipeline includes taking natural gas from the Waha hub to the Agua Dulce hub and from that point take it to Mexico.
My understanding is that Mexico won't be producing enough gas on its own to be able to fill up the field, so #1 can be eliminated. As for #2, the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company is a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan. I have looked into it and have found nothing regarding Kinder Morgan being involved in Mexico natural gas storage - at least nothing comparable to the Brasil field. For example, take this article from 2019 - https://www.naturalgasintel.com/kinder-morgan-to-offer-storage-solutions-for-mexico-natural-gas-shippers/ and this article from this year - https://www.naturalgasintel.com/mexico-lng-exports-driving-bullish-natural-gas-outlook-for-kinder-morgan/ (I have the full article text, if anyone wants it.) The first article mentions a 4Bcf project near Phoenix, AZ. The second focuses on US storage.
I guess it's possible another company steals the research we've already done, but that wouldn't be an issue with us. Also, Ward is aware of this and has taken precautions to minimize the chance of this happening. Obviously times have been rough, but I see nothing that should automatically take us out of the running. Regarding the oil wells, I hear he still plans on closing on them. And even if he didn't, I wouldn't view it as a death knell for all the reasons listed above. We will have to wait and see what happens in the next administration, at which point we should at least have closure.
Only if CMW is sober. So, no.
But is this the week?
CMW works the fry baskets ("oil business") at the Taco Cabana on San Pedro Avenue on Tuesdays.
MW has a part time gig at a PR firm in the northeast.
It was mentioned by the largest shareholder that the oil wells would give MRGE credibility..Do you feel Wards lack of execution on the oil well front as well as not filing financials takes us out of consideration from a storage deal. We all know Storage has a profound impact across all of Mexico and as a leader I would be very careful of whom I picked..Or are shareholders banking on wards contacts..ie moreno and Silva to get it done? Thanks
As you've told me before, "there's always hope with a new administration." If the innumerable articles about natural gas storage are to be believed, Mexico needs it and pretty badly. We know that there has been tons of research done by / paid for / assembled by Mirage. We also know that they have a "very clear draft and blueprint of the wells that we need to drill to set up the injection headers and create all the necessary infrastructure for the project." I personally am hopeful we will be included somewhere in the mix.
BTW, Claudia Sheinbaum was in Tamaulipas a couple days ago and mentioned natural gas storage.
"She also noted that “there are the two systems, either BRT or Trolleybus that we have been proposing, in the case of this area, well, part of it is in the north, on the border, which I announced the day we were in that area. area, particularly in Reynosa and elsewhere, is for the municipalities of Altamira, Madero and Tampico, that we can have a public transportation system that communicates, that we are going to support the governor to develop it; and natural gas storage projects, the fertilizer plant, the development of the Port of Matamoros; in addition to what the Port of Tampico would represent as tourism; the Customs Building that is being completed on the border; and the International Port of Nuevo Laredo, which we also announced at the time.”

Here is a video of the whole conference (translated subtitles available) - the above excerpt takes place around 3:10

Is old Ward taking over Pemex with old Flapper and changing the logo to a rainbow?
not me, I did have an order in but after the spike down to .008x
Was that you buying again today?
Too bad it ain't like father like son..CMW must have been "playing" around south of the border during that life lesson...SMH
I think it more just confirms the point that he knew it was really challenging to business in Mexico and he was right
I don't think his father did any business in Mexico. I know he was successful with oil wells in Texas though.
I didn’t realize wards father had so little faith in MW
What business did he do in Mexico.. I thought the rumor had it, he secured the rights to tunnel under the Panama Canal? An all time classic via Florida, Rob and CMW himself
That saying was from Ward's father regarding doing business in Mexico
So being this was I believe Wards logo and we know his sense of humor( mirage energy, 4Ward, Gambit energy) I’m guessing you feel the odds are as good as MW felt the odds of his company succeeding….
When pigs fly
Mike, what do you think the chances are that Mirage's projects get revived with next administration?

The following table is a reference to how one might come up with PPS for Mirage. There are obviously a lot of variables here, but since PPS is often talked about in terms of PE ratio, I thought I would use that as a guide.
I assumed the outstanding count would climb to around 650 million, where 200 mill preferred shares are held by the CEO and not traded, and so I also did a calculation based on 450 million also.
The worst case scenario in the table is 200 mill net earnings and a P/E ratio = 10, yielding a $3 stock. I say worst case in light of P/E ratio where ratios of other midstream pipeline companies.

https://mexicobusiness.news/energy/news/natural-gas-storage-remains-do-list
US-based Mirage Energy discussed a 786Bcf storage project with MBN last year. With a capacity as large as this, the project would immediately become the largest single natural gas storage facility in North America. “We are not developing this only as a strategic reserve but as a commercial operation of which industrial players can benefit,” said CEO Michael Ward. As of June 2020, funding for the project has been secured. Now, all Mexico’s government would need to do is give it a green light.
