lots of penny stock players hate reverse splits because it takes the stock into a price range that does not appeal to them, but does appeal to funds and those who want nasdaq listed type stocks. your percentage of the business will remain the same but the price per share may suffer short term as those who like the penny stocks leave for greener pastures and those who like 4 dollar stocks will wait for until after the reverse split.
i heard the ceo present at the edgewater conf and was very impressed with the business plan and the previous success of its chairman thomas hemingway. i have seen reverse splits work when the company is the type that will appeal to funds, and nxpw will.
i bought more today and consider the price decline a nice oppty to accumulate at what will be bargain prices in the future, but it may be hairy for awhile. glty
I bought more shares today at .19 cents. Then it dropped to .16cents. Can you believe it?? Now they state they are splitting on November 2, 2007. WHat is that going to do to my old shares and what does it do to the new ones? I am new to all this. A great grandma losing her pin money. Unhappy Halloween, Houndette
Not much chatter in here.
Is anyone watching the charts?
This thing is so ready to run. IMO.
Solid base here & primed for take off.
man, it was always in that .10 - .12 range continually...i almost bought some for that 20% because i had nothing better to do...o well
Wow!! .32 this morning. What's going on? My prudential funds have lost $10,000 in a week. How can this "little engine that could" behave like this? Hope this is a sign of things to come. Finally, maybe I picked a winner. Bought at .17. Houndette
Sheesh! MMs played with this one when I was last in it, so I gave up outta frustration.
One of your better picks this year that got away!
.31 Now...Whooooooooooooooosh 67% Gain!!!
Nice!!!
.095 x .14 ...And they're called market makers. Who are they really making a market for?
Houndette - thanks for joining the board it's startig to get quiet. I'm only checking about once a week now since the posts have slowed down. Anyway, they are definitely legit and their service is excellent. Anway, I hope to see green real soon!!!
Nextphase Wireless bought at.17. So glad to hear that Guru uses the wireless service company. At last I feel they are legitimate. You never know with these penny stocks. I have tons of CCMI at 2 cents. I dumped LITL when it was $1.00. Am I glad. It is down to .23 today, and I think it is just a scam. No one has ever bought any of their high end computers, nor can they talk to a real live person. But they sure have a expensive web page and advertising. Thanks Guru for the encouragement. Houndette
whoa, I just checked the quote... NICE! I need to get level II quotes, these delayed quotes take all the excitement out of watching this. Hope to see more green next week!
Just saw a buy for 80k shares!
I'm betting this thing will ride to .50 by end of year. You heard it here first!
There is support for this stock around .08 -.09 and then it runs back up, then back down.
I'm a customer and love their service so I guess I'm biased because I know the company is providing a quality service and a great price. I think the real problem with this company is that nobody knows about them. I was referred to them by one of my networking groups. I don't think they have a big ad budget. Anyway, my .02
Guru
Bought at .17 in the summer. Hope it finally goes back to that price. Long ride to gain back what I lost. Nevermind hoping to make some profit.
Looks like this stock retraces to .10 once it hits .15
What do you guys think. Sell it and ride it up or hang on?
Nice to see some activity on this board! Yeah, what's up with the big spread? I'm loving the chart this week too. I loaded up at .10 and will most likely continue to buy should the price drop again.
.11 X .16...MM's really making a market here. Must be taking the afternoon off.
Nice accumulation over the past few days. Just sitting back waiting for the big break to the upside. Chart sure is looking pretty. Should start showing up on a lot of scans.
I did the same, but bought some more shares at the beginning of the year albeit at .10 so I'm down as of today but hope to see this one go back up. I think the sweet spot is at .08 as it always goes back up from there.
Agreed...nice Pr. No, I had to take the tax loss last month on this one. Just couldn't continue to hold, while HMGP was running. I still like NXPW...just not sure why it can't run? I tried and tried and tried, but...
Maybe in another few weeks, I can grab some new shares and give it another try.
Nice PR. Maybe we will finally start trending up again.

Lowman..you still in this one?

just got back from a trip out of town and saw a huge day this week, something like 300,000 shares... didn't do much though. any thoughts?
my sentiments exactly... let's hope this thing pops sooner than later, however from a technological standpoint they have an excellent network and good product. It's not vaporware like some of these pink dogs I get spammed on.
I bet anything, once this runs, it goes to .30-.40! I dunno what it's gonna take, but NXPW is WAY undervalued for the amount of biz they're starting to pull in.
I'm glad you pointed that out because I was wondering what the heck was going on as with the low float and average trading volume I just don't understand why it doesn't go higher than .10. Obviously the short sellers are on this one. Well I'm in it long and will watch it and buy on the dips if there are any...
guru
Here, here. Soon, soon. Bring it on. .075, I'm ready for it.
All day long this trades at .10, and just before close, MMs bring it back down. What blatant manipulation.
Under manipulation as such, it is advised to hold regardless what they do. I've been holding, even down to dips of .075, despite my avg. of .13.
The only way shorts quit shorting is when they see they can't cover, cheaper. If anything, be prepared to buy cheaper, to foil their attempts to force a sell-off.
The inevitable short squeeze will be well worth it.
If they don't today, I bet they will, before too long! There business plan for growth (nationwide) is why I'm in. Just like you say, they have a superior 'product', in relative comparison, and it's those kinda companies that grow fast and furious.
I believe they are acquisition hungry...a term I like!
Does mangement speak of or have you heard if they are expanding North or South in SoCal? I have clients in San Diego and would love to get them off DSL and on to nextphase service. My sales guy at nxpw said they do have a relationship with another group in San Diego and can re-sell their service however they don't offer nearly the speeds that nextphase does.
Ok, I'm rambling again... I have to get to work... :) Another note I forgot to mention is the fact that nxpw can install an internet circuit in less than 5 days is unbelievable!!! DSL takes over 3 weeks and a T-1 forgedaboudit, like 6-7 weeks. One of my installs with nxpw took less than 3 days from order to turn up. I really think that is where they excel and will steal the biz away from the big boys... ttyl

I've spoke with management and I got the feel their on the level, with large horizons, to boot! Just the low o/s is a helluva good sign, IMO. I'm glad to hear about the connection to Earthlink, and yes, it's a very unfortunate thing that they can't PR their relation. Oh, well...atleast we're getting they're business!
Glad to be here and am really hoping NXPW is my sleeper of the year. Again, I only by what I know so all my stocks (which are very few :)) are tech stocks along with Sirius radio. My other descent pick was Level 3 which I bought at $3.25 and it's done fairly well. Anyway, I live in the sub $5 stock area and when I found NXPW I couldn't believe it was this low.
Here is my one piece of information I can share as I don't see a PR about it or on any boards. I asked the installers what other customers they had while they were doing one of my installations in Orange County and they told me they were working on Anaheim wirleess network with earthlink. But I have never seen a PR, so I asked them why, they said they were not allowed to announce it publicly through a PR because of their contract with earthlink. I hope I don't get anyone busted :) Anyway, I don't know if it's even true, but thought I would pass it on.
Guru
You're our 'first hand' investor here, 'DNS_Guru'! Great to have an afficianado around, and doubly great to hear your take on their service. IMO, it's just a matter of time before others realize this is a good investment for the future.
GLTY
Hey guys, new to this board and NXPW. I'm a techie and so I only buy what I know. I own a small network consulting group and NextPhase has installed 3 circuits now for my customers. The service is fantastic and a fraction of what Verizon wanted to charge. VoIP also works perfectly over these connections. Anyway, I'm rambling, but I just found out NXPW was public so I bought some this week and I'm hoping this one goes up. Personally, I think if more people knew about their service they would clean up...
good philosophy...i haven't been in a rush to get into tech. co.'s at all but like the looks of this one. With the dollar seeming to be in the beginning of a tail-spin i'd like to get into gold (most likely mining) I like GPTRF, keep a good percentage in energy, and maybe look into something like uranium which i've been reading alot about recently. looking for other areas. OPCO definately not anywhere near those industries but haven't found anything to dislike yet. USSE ended up being more of a learning experience about R/M's and shells. Never have been nor currently a shareholder in any of the above-mentioned.
III
I generally don't speak much about other stocks either, but it appears NXPW is followed so little, by other IHubbers, for the moment it doesn't seem to much matter. I try to stay away from the 'hot' ones, while concentrating on the ones 'warming up'. I'll check out OPCO though. thanx
true...i've been doing serious window shopping over the past couple weeks b/c i've got the last eighth of my initial position in a nice lil four-bagger i've held over a year now and i think i've taken it as far as it's going to go for now so it's prolly finally time to close it out and move on...but so far it's been the safest place for my cash...ever look at OPCO??? USSE keeps tempting me but, if nothing else, feels too good to be true.
III
P.S. - you gotta board where you talk about picks??? always feel a lil bad mentioning other co.'s or tickers and another co.'s board
If I only had the funds, I'd be loading up on this, NVMG, NHCT, ARSC, MLXO, and CTUM. If is a big word though! :(
If I could quote the Doc...
"Hey, I just found out that this is a OTC:BB full reporting company with assets, income, acquisitions and everything. Wow did I luck out!!"
...at $.1 with that tiny float??????????? gimmie some of dat
III
Although I may be wrong, I seriously get the feeling someone has kept manipulating the pps down, so they can continue to accumulate.
The wireless market is fiercely competitive, and small guys get swallowed up by the bigger guys. NXPW themselves, if I'm correct, has been built in part on smaller companies that couldn't make a go of it, whether it was territory or equipment.
Considering the growth in this particular sector, and especially NXPW's recent 10-Q, it's no wonder someone would want to accumulate this for cheap.
another one with a recent positive CMF move...someone been accumulating your portfolio??? LOL. get that D+ to turn and this could be going somewhere. really like what i see over here as a strong long-term buy and hold. don't expect too many sudden moves...just a nice steady runup back to a more accurate valuation...excellent bottom/turn-around play. Tried to get info on John Wayne portal as i've flown in there and my sister lives in L.A. but she hadn't used their system...she was going to ask a few friends though to try and get an idea of what the consumers on the "street" thought. GLTA hope she doesn't move without me
III
No, but I've been meaning to call management. I'll be sure to ask that question.
IMO, NXPW still has an open short position, which is why it's being held down. That it is at .111 is baffling, given the last 10-Q.
BTW, those .111's went to me. Perhaps no one else can see a safe investment here, but I do. I'm particularly impressed by the o/s for an OTC with considerable enough revenues now, much less going forward.
All NXPW needs is enough interest, which oddly enough, doesn't seem like there should ever have been a problem with that.
The dip to .06 appears to me that the company MAY have sold some shares, and just didn't have the bid support to accomodate the selling. Unfortunately, NXPW wasn't on my watchlist at the time.
At any rate, an o/s of 25M, a pps of .11, and the size revenue they're just starting to create, makes this look like a nice little hidden gem.
Any projections as to when this company becomes cash flow positive?tia
futrcash
Well, atleast we've closed the gap from the other day's trading.
.111 represents a market cap of a paltry $2.6M, and IMO, DAMN low for a OTC company that showed quarterly revenues (on a yearly basis), nearly equal to that, AND growing exponentially.
Strong buy and hold, IMO, but what do I know.
Management gave me that figure, about 3 weeks ago. Bear in mind the actual may be 16M, but yahoo doesn't recognize street shares held by family, friends, and insiders.
Lowman, you have the float at 8M and yahoo has it as 16M. Can you let us know how you came to 8M? Thanks.
