Ok called Finra spoke to a very experienced person,she knew her stuff about Medizone, and told me the Medizone Cusip #585013105 is active and cleared to request a trade to get a ticker symbol. Medizone has cleared up the bogus egregious lie compliant, initiating the Finra Inquiry and has moved to the next step. Which is to initiate a trade,there is a Easier way to complete this and it's in the Works. Not going to happen. FINRA has never processed a 211 for a liquidated bankrupt company that they suspended the CUSIP on. No matter how many people call…and that is even assuming a MM steps up to sponsor one…which they won’t for a liquidated bankrupt company. They take on significant liability if they do.

They said at this time an order could not be put into the system because there is not a market for this. We need a symbol to trade it. Also, I was told to check back in a month to see if there's anything new to report.

Called Finra 3rd time now,asked for supervisor,was told Medizone can become trading again by ASKING MARKET NAKERS TO MAKE A MARKET FOR TRADING...and once this happens they the MM's will send back to Finra a form 211 to request a new trading symbolticker which would take a couple weeks to review...But since Finra already reviewed and cleared the half-witted complaint about wrong domicile change than this process could be easier/ faster...this is what I was told,its been their rule for over 20 years...so he told me to call my broker dealer and request a MANUAL small trade a buy or sell to REQUEST A MARKET TO TRADE THIS CUSIP # MEDIZONE INT...then the process can start....

Problem is that a market maker is highly unlikely to submit a 211 for a suspended Cusip deleted ticker that de-registered the stock. The reason being is they take on the liability…and they don’t do it (let alone FINRA agreeing to process it after they had suspended the Cusip) just because someone asks.

Which is probably why it’s never happened for a suspended Cusip ticker due to bankruptcy liquidation before.

But the company is free to file a Form 10 with the SEC.

But I wouldn’t hold my breath.

All I know is I talked to 2 separate Finra reps,they both said the same thing,and it's very possible to get a clean ticker since the cusip is still alive and active...they both said it could be back to normal but it could take a lil time to accrue some interest in trading the OTC 211 is exactly as they stated...

There is no such thing as an “OTC 211”. What is probably being referred to is “Form 211” that a market maker submits under Rule 15c2-11 to FINRA to allow approval for an EXISTING ticker to be quoted…which requires a lot of things.

I am not aware of it ever being used to bring a ticker back to life that was deleted by FINRA because of a Cusip suspension.

The only way the company comes back is by Filing a Form 10 with the SEC to register the stock…and that isn’t going to happen for a variety of reasons.

I realize hope springs eternal in the OTC…but this isn’t realistic. Sounds like a lot of “rules” are being misconstrued or misrepresented to support that hope.

Not for private stock. That would be illegal. They can’t quote it, they can’t solicit it for sale, there is no platform on which it would trade.

And technically if you were to find someone who wanted to buy your stock the transfer would need to be approved by the company since it would be a private resale.

Well in this case your use of the word “traded” only means…if you can find someone to buy it.

But no one can call there broker and say…please find someone to buy my stock. They can’t do that with private stock.

It cannot be offered for sale by the broker.

Only if they were an SEC registrant. The SEC is “revoking” the registration of the stock. That results in the deletion of the ticker.

A non-registrant ie. a non-reporting stock cannot have its registration revoked as there is no registration to revoke.

That is why a lot of delinquent SEC filers will de-register via a Form 15 filing…that way they can’t be revoked later on. Medizone deregistered in Oct last year
