Fraud? LOL HAHA LOL Since Day One, sir!!! Before then just check out Citron Research!!! HA!!!
10-K may be out this week as well.
if there was this would not have comeout today
Thanks for pointing that out...I hadn't seen the MedLink International 8-k yet.
First, I would say it is good news in that apparently the dearth of information from MLKNA has come to an end. I would bet we see the 10-K and 10-Q's now.
Second, it means that MedLink couldn't pay their debt and so they have restructured it. That news in and of itself is not good. However, my guess is that there are more shoes to fall in this story.
Ok thanks for your view. What's your take on the 8k from today? What kind of "default" they are talking about?
Yes and Yes.
I may be foolish but I did buy some shares a month or so back as I felt the price was appealing and averaged down a bit.
Yes, I also feel that things will work out. I have spoken with AEGIS and they told me they were working with Vuono and Rose directly and that the issues stemmed from the acquisition and the auditors. They told me that there was no fraud committed and that the issues stemmed from things being complex.
I have also gotten credible rumors that the company is restructuring. Don't know exactly what that means but, IMO, it could mean that there is leverage being put on by others to replace Rose and possibly Vuono.
My guess is that the filings will be made very soon. Possibly this week or next.
I'm going to say the only thing to be hopeful of at this point is that Vuono will do some jail time. I think there was some fraud committed in the last 10-K.
Charles, are you still hopeful in general? Did you average down all the way from 50 cents lately? I didn't follow the story too much in the last few months but I just saw a new 8k coming out right now.
Correction!!! The most recent data filing for MLKNA is for QE 12/31/2010: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/MLKNA/financials
The most recent financial data provided is nearly 11 months old, yet OTC Markets/Pink Sheets has not yet downgraded MLKNA to the "Stop - No Information" tier simply because MLKNA has made multiple more recent filings stating that they will be late in filing the financial information.
Trading of MLKNA shares appears to be dying resulting in decreasing volume and a decreasing share price: http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=historical&symbol=MLKNA
The company is seriously delinquent in its financial and disclosure filings without explanation. The most recent data filing is for QE 3/31/2011: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/MLKNA/financials
OTC Markets/Pink Sheets allows the date of filings indicating that future filings will be late to extend the date of the of most recent information allowing companies like MLKNA to go beyond the 6-month information limit and avoid being downgraded MLKNA to the "Stop -- No Information" tier.
IMO, this policy of OTC Markets/Pink Sheets is ridiculous. The most recent financial information provided by MLKNA is over 6 months old.
false hope that things will MAGICALLY change soon
The magic number here will soon be .0001 HA!!!!
Passed by the office this week. Nice to see all furniture was removed. All numbers were closed. A sheriffs posting was on the building demanding that the office be vacated within 72 hours, back on September 26th.
Chances are if they are still in business, they have now screwed the phone company, internet, landlord, doctors who have signed up with them, existing and upcoming. Another doctor is still trying to get a hold of the owners to get some answers as to why its been almost 7 months since anyone has returned his calls.
Love these fly by nights... Good job people... keep sticking with a company like this. The kind of stock I'd love to own at 50 cents and have a false hope that things will MAGICALLY change soon.
Why? You probably would not like what you would see. Ray's just waddling along, making his pizza money and nothing more. Years ago I warned that Medlink should never have been a public company. It isn't worth the value of a suburban car wash! LOL
Tell them to hurry up with the filing:

Shareholders need to make them more accountable.
Way back when -- I mentioned Quality Systems, the only one I mentioned that had business in this segent, which you dissed, Choate. Well, that has been a four bagger since then. The race is to the swift and strong in this market segment.
You really should dump stocks, like MLKNA, the very instant any one of them (psst, the management) starts misbehaving. Admittedly, I have violated my own rule a couple of times. It is not worth it in the long run. You do not have to be in a stock(s) all the time, huffing and puffing over them. Learn from inveterate gambler Damon Runyon: "The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but that's how the smart money bets."
Find stocks with immediate interest in them or the sector, place your bet, cash your chips and wait for the next one even if it takes a little while! And like Lot's wife, don't look back. You know how that turned out! LOLOL
Past employees? Dude look for yourself. Sit there and make us sound like we are grumblers?
How about talking to Drs. I am talking to a dr that is on the phone wondering why the billing service hasnt submitted his claims for over 3 months. And then when he approached them about why the heck he is not being paid by insurances for over 20k, they drop him.
So why not contact the doctors... I would be happy to give you a few numbers. Doctors are in the process of lawyering up, and Jameson is trying to sell the company from under everyone... FACT!!!
Sorry, you are correct. I should have clarified the process. Thanks for pointing that out.
And pay the electric company. HA!!!
What money was needed to get them done? You mean to hire the accountants?
>yes they are Mr. Wizard. they are coming out soon. I should know I >know where the money came from to GET them done
Good money after bad!!! Why? Doesn't the company have any money of its own left? Or has Rose run off with all of it? LOL
yes they are Mr. Wizard. they are coming out soon. I should know I know where the money came from to GET them done
It would be nice to have the numbers come out "soon". Just not sure what "soon" means.
Even if Medlink were not a scam, who with correct foresight would invest in some tiny POS in an industry with deep pocketed competition and an implementation failure rate of 50%+!!!
Pretty soon MLKNA will be a 5 cent stock!!! HA!!
but the numbers aren't coming out.
Have you not figured that out yet?
I dont have a clue who is telling the truth about what but on offense I dont trust ex employees who were released for whatever reasons they dodnt tend to have an objective view. if the sales are all now being handled by a contraced outfit and the labs are working then lets see whats up when the numbers come out and they are coming shortly.
Hi Cassandra. I've tried to email you at your private email address but I didn't get a reply. If you see this post please try and call me at the numbers in my email. I also have 4 other former employess that are willing to talk with you.
Thank you for your disclosure regarding MLKNA.
I said in 2007 Ray was simply in the share selling business. Ray had one fat scam during the last decade to cut his teeth on. But no one seems to realize except for an elect few that a leopard never changes its spots! Too, too, WAY too funny!!! A multi-year laugh riot!!!
I have read these posts now for almost two years noow... I too was a past employee. I was hired with the knowledge that I would be given a semi annual review, a starting salary of 45+, 401, stocks, medical benefits and was given lead over a department.
My first paycheck, bounced. As did my next three. I had left a very secure job to join this company and was sold a song and a dance.
The next two paychecks... cleared. Then at the beginning of the holiday season, thanksgiving, well past the new year, we had to hunt Ray and James down for our salary. Needless to say, they were RARELY in the office.
When Medappz was bought, it was exciting and we looked forward to a new road to travel, with both Ray and James saying that they appreciated that the employees stuck it out during the rough patches.
Once Medappz was taken over, we (medlink employees)felt disregarded and unappreciated. Our 401, insurance and benefits never were started. Mind you, Medappz did have theirs.
I was let go after being with the company over half a year, with the excuse that we were not closing jobs.
The salesman, Mike D., is about as big a snake and a BSer as James and Ray. They were CLEARLY selling doctors the EMR, taking the money and then refunding to other doctors who were not being trained or spoken to in a decent amount of time.. with some doctors waiting over 4 months for a simple reply to questions. And when calls were returned, a song and a dance...
This company, I am very surprised... is still afloat.
Employees have not been paid on time, never received medical benefits, nor 401 options or shares. Checks OFTEN bounce. And yes, to make sure that the electricity never went out again, they had employees work from home. Several employees refused to work one day due to not receiving their pay. They then had to wait till 730 in the evening for James to finally show his face, to get their paychecks.
Good luck sticking with this one... I am, as mentioned, surprised its still afloat. Nothing like having doctors still call and ask how come no one ever returns calls...
Ray, Rose & Kim, the scamming trio from '03, pulled off another one with Medlink. Too funny.
I am very Long and very optimistic. They had screw ups with their old accounting firm but I think things are getting on track now.
ugh. any reason(s) to be optimistic? pessimistic?
They do not have to file at all if they stay on Pinksheets.
How long can they go without filing before something happens? Like...is there something that they will eventually run into that motivates them to get it done by a certain point in the future?
They missed the deadline alredy, filed an extension and then missed that. Currently OTC has the yield sign on this company for no financials.
At what point does MedLink have to file quarterly to avoid being downgraded/delisted etc? I'm not clear on that. Is there a fixed date?
he's not dining with Ray
No one possessing a modicum of discernment dines with Ray -- not if they want to avoid the attempted fork-jab and bite.
now thats funny!!!!!! if you knew who and what "eddy" is you would know he's not dining with Ray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He does remind me of Eddie Hasskil thought...."Oh hi Mrs. Cleaver........that ho!!!!!!!!!!!"
You tell me eddy - you're the one eating pizza and having beer with Ray and James every week. We peons don't know anything.
Is this POS about to go dark? HA!!
One begins to wonder if the auditors will ever be able to sync the numbers with reality. If no one signs off on this soon, this POS will be going to the sub-penny graveyard that much more quickly. Ray will be living off dilution, like a good pinky CEO. LOL
Well it gets pretty boring owning a company with no financials and no PR's of substance.
Why do you think there is a trend for people removing themselves as investors in MedLink International (MLKNA)?
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/pitchesbyboard.aspx?board_id=13081
One way or another, the three amigos aren't parting ways. They have way too much dirt on one another. At Medlink, they long ago adopted a Ben Franklin maxim: We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately. HA!!
On the other hand, he is still listed on the main website: http://www.medlinkus.com/management

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that on May 23, 2013, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York entered default judgments against MedLink International, Inc., a medical software company, its CEO, Aurelio Vuono, and its CFO, James Rose. The Commission had charged them with filing an annual report falsely stating that its audit had been completed and with defrauding a MedLink investor. The court ordered permanent injunctions from violating Section 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933, Sections 10(b) and 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rules 10b-5, 12b-20, 15d-1 and 15d-14. The court also ordered each defendant to disgorge, jointly and severally, $149,473/50, representing their illicit profits, together with pre-judgment interest of $8,942.48, for a total of $158,415.98. In addition, the court ordered civil penalties of $650,000 against MedLink, $130,000 against Vuono, and $130,000 against Rose. Finally, the court barred Vuono and Rose from penny stock offerings or severing as an officer or director of a public company.
For further information about the case, see Litigation Release No. 22521(Oct. 26, 2012).
