I have read these posts now for almost two years noow... I too was a past employee. I was hired with the knowledge that I would be given a semi annual review, a starting salary of 45+, 401, stocks, medical benefits and was given lead over a department.

My first paycheck, bounced. As did my next three. I had left a very secure job to join this company and was sold a song and a dance.

The next two paychecks... cleared. Then at the beginning of the holiday season, thanksgiving, well past the new year, we had to hunt Ray and James down for our salary. Needless to say, they were RARELY in the office.

When Medappz was bought, it was exciting and we looked forward to a new road to travel, with both Ray and James saying that they appreciated that the employees stuck it out during the rough patches.

Once Medappz was taken over, we (medlink employees)felt disregarded and unappreciated. Our 401, insurance and benefits never were started. Mind you, Medappz did have theirs.

I was let go after being with the company over half a year, with the excuse that we were not closing jobs.

The salesman, Mike D., is about as big a snake and a BSer as James and Ray. They were CLEARLY selling doctors the EMR, taking the money and then refunding to other doctors who were not being trained or spoken to in a decent amount of time.. with some doctors waiting over 4 months for a simple reply to questions. And when calls were returned, a song and a dance...

This company, I am very surprised... is still afloat.

Employees have not been paid on time, never received medical benefits, nor 401 options or shares. Checks OFTEN bounce. And yes, to make sure that the electricity never went out again, they had employees work from home. Several employees refused to work one day due to not receiving their pay. They then had to wait till 730 in the evening for James to finally show his face, to get their paychecks.

Good luck sticking with this one... I am, as mentioned, surprised its still afloat. Nothing like having doctors still call and ask how come no one ever returns calls...
