Now that iHub creates an RSS feed of a specific user's past 50 posts, RSS is even a better tool than it was before.

I still use the feedreader.com software. It works great!

I have successfully installed FeedReader and the O* file. Question: Where do I find the "rss" url to add posts of a certain member? I want to add posts from RyGuy.

Sweet, thanks for the update.. I need to almost dedicate a pc to that in itself. I wish search terms were included in some of these. However.. If all searches were the same.. People would still trade differently I guess.

If you follow people you can go to that page and see if any new posts are active. Key word searching is also an option.

Interesting, so does that mean you can no longer "sort" by user? I always added a search with a name. But then again I like faster apps than FR. So that just means more labor for me.

Seems to be fixed since 4:00 today. Check your feeder.If you ever need help fixing the feeder, drop me an email.I think they heard me complain.
The post stream in IHUB is also good.Faster time..

As of 3:30 Pacific time today, they have fixed the RSS feeds...starting to see the alias name first in the title on new posts...yahooo.

Recently there has been a change to iHub's RSS feeds where now the alias of the poster is not showing on the subject line.
This has severely and negatively impacted the usefulness of your RSS feeds, as posts can no longer be filtered or sorted by alias name.
I hope it was just a coding mistake and this can be corrected so alias names again appear. Can you please help on this..

It looks like iHub removed aliases from their feeds. big big mistake imo.

Hey Aram,

Its a shame because it was a great tool.been working on fixing it but they put a code to hide all the posters. i had it tweeked perfect. Theirs no other feeder that does instant feeds.Been teaching charts for pennys and how to use the feeder for years and this was a great tool for DD work.If i figure it out, i will post it.

I too am addicted to FeedReader and use it plenty, and filter by username/poster....have a couple special SmartFeeds setup to glean the cream of the crop posters...
I checked Google Reader and it too no longer shows the poster in the title. This is most certainly an iHub code change...who can we complain to?
Makes their RSS feeds almost worthless now...

I been using the feedreader for 3 years and i know basically how to fix it but did you notice yesturday that now you cant see the IHUB traders names when the feeds come in? Do you know how to fix that?

Try feedDemon.com -- it syncs with Google Reader and has desktop notifications. I've actually switched to FeedDemon.com from FeedReader.com for this very reason.

Did you download the OPML file? All you have to do is import it into feedreader.
