If this hits ten or eleven bucks, I buy. I don't see how it does, unless bitcoin dips to low 60s. Even with the CEOs fund-friendly disposition, such as diluting to pay off loans that weren't due, there's still a reward here for retail.

well, I tried to get a fill on left side on more 35's for next month.....probably just as well......i'm pretty sure blackrock or couple of other ETF's would come in and support it before it gets that low, but who the hell knows, eh?

I don't get it? All these new Bitcoin ETF's and I don't see any trading like it's a spot ETF...The S&P500 at 5160 and the SPY trades 516, so Bitcoin at 73K I want to buy an ETF one at 730 or 73...that was the whole purpose of all these new ETF's was to provide a Spot Price ETF

Sure wish I had sold 40% last week. This has been way too easy for the shorts. When they do another round of dilution, I will be joining the shorts.

I sold 40% of MARA early last week for MSTR (I already was in MSTR). But I'm holding 60% through the halving and beyond. Historically, miners, as an entire group, have dipped significantly before halving and then rocketed. I'm also in miners that don't HODL. If bitcoin eventually goes where I think it's going, everyone wins.

yep, i'm looking for this fall to get approved, maybe sooner.....in the meantime, i'm trying a few BITO options to see how it goes.......but I noticed, it doesnt get much action beyond a couple of weeks, so I have to buy very carefully on the bid side when I can or split the bid/ask

1, you don't have to sell it as a loss

2. 50% of the position would probably be smarter if you were itching to do so

3. Nearly every decent crypto (and bitcoin is #1) comes back... (miners will too)

I've learned, the hard way. Now I leave positions, when I can leave a free position behind. I'm guessing you could leave with your investment soon enough.
The ships here will rise with the tide, if you need mstr exposure, maybe get a few with fresh powder on a down day.

I've been cost averaging since 180$ on mstr, and don't plan on selling them or btc for many years into retirement.

I mostly use Daily Bar charts and always buy at the rising 50 day MA, sometimes I use a 5min intra-day bar chart for entries, there, I buy at the rising 100 period 5min MA, works like a charm!

I saw it on the financials maybe I read it wrong but here is a paste; Revenues increased 452% to $156.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2023 from $28.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2022. The increase in revenue was driven by a 172% increase in bitcoin production year-over-year, coupled with 101% higher average bitcoin prices during the period.

The Company sold 56% of the bitcoin it produced during the quarter to fund operating costs.

Dilution and sold 56% of their bitcoin holdings. So their valuation it’s cut in half. Could have should have been at $60 by now.
