YEEHAW!!
Now if we could just learn something.
Best, Terry
did i write something to bother you?
No, Rich Pearl.
i know all about filings and obfuscation. sad to say its all part of the game
Umm. I daresay you have me beaten from here to forever about such things and more but how much do you know about digital cartographic data and MVPI's patents on that subject?
What is your feeling about Phillip Frost, the Warren Buffett of biotech, taking a smidgeon below 10% ownership in MVPI to avoid filing and letting on to his interest?
I gave you rudimentary information on the subject along with conjecture, speculation and bias to treat as you wish.
I am not a trader and suspect I have some of the same interest as Frost but I am a tiny mouse to a Frost elephant.
I am frankly awed you can make a buck trading a stock like MVPI. It's a feat almost comparable to a large international gold and silver trader getting his initial training as a prisoner in a German concentration camp during WWII [Bury Me Standing].
I have no other comment or feeling except to say that I know of no good reason to doubt you.

did i write something to bother you? i know all about filings and obfuscation. sad to say its all part of the game, but have you noticed how many SEC deliquent stocks have been suspended and dumped to the greys? what i'm saying in consideration is that there isn't a lot of info out there on this one, and i'd be a little less worried about holding if they'd simply filed the 15-12g and dropping the requirement for reporting.
fwiw, i'm generally a bottom feeder and i like to use the chart for guidance, but this doesn't trade enough to make for an accurate chart, and that doesn't leave me with much to work with. nevertheless, i've done all right here. my exposure was small, and i'm nearly out with a very respectful gain. obviously, then, there was (and prolly still is) some money to be made here. for the moment, the trend, as seen through L2, is still to the upside. and in this game, what more can any player ask for?
as for the suit, i'm pretty sure its dead. been quite awhile since anything was stated or leaked, and that's too bad. i like a David beats Goliath story as much as anyone else, and i don't doubt they waz' robbed, but...
best of luck to you and ALL
rich
they're currently SEC delinquent. so, all things considered....
What things have you considered?
A penny stock up on its filings might be worse than one that is not. The idea is that it could be prettied for the usual pump'n'dump.
I bought because it really had patented technology Google is or was infringing in my former professional opinion
Big guys like Google can hire politicians like Obama to keep infringement safe and profitable.
One of the big investors at just under the 10% ownership so he doesn't have to own up to it is, or was, the Warren Buffett of Biotech. He, and other biggies, could have sold. It's just penny pitching for them.
I expect to lose my far smaller pennies but I too would love to see a predator like Google knocked off its perch and make a bundle into the bargain.
Anybody got a better excuse for dump picking?
I am not really into roulette. The two times I was in Vegas I blew 25 cents on the slots each time. I used nickels to prolong the thrill of losing money.
In real life the family has done a lot of dump picking but that's hard work.
Good luck to you whatever your game.
Best, Terry
It's looking much better! Bid $.13 and offered $.15!
Good point...
its the essence of thin, but....
to paraphrase a tv character -- sadly, tv is now reality and we live the imitation -- have patience, grasshopper. the sun must set before it rises again.
did you notice there are 2 bidders now at .07? were you watching how this ultimately took .07 off the ask with lots of pidly trades? i haven't a clue as to why this has moved at all, and they're currently SEC delinquent. so, all things considered....
best of trading to ya'
rich
We're right back at $0.07 on only 9K shares! That didn't last too long!
No trades today ='s no bids! I'm not sure how long the price will stay up here.
No follow-through trades today, which means it will most likely be back below .10 in no time.
This is the latest I see about the case: https://insight.rpxcorp.com/litigation_documents/10631989
Whatever it is, they closed up 115%! I'll take it!
These guys are still delinquent on their filings
You certain, China?
Just a question.
Beyond the lack of 10-Q's, information is very different between OTC site a\nd Edgar:
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1363573/000137647417000119/mvp_10k.htm
Whatever, it's probably just a scam now but MVPI really did have a case for patent infringement against Google IMO.
Likely immaterial now.
Best, Terry
Whatever it is, the stock is perking up. It's bid $.12.
These guys are still delinquent on their filings. Let's hope they get their books in order.
The pending lawsuit was my only reason for getting into this stock!
I have no clue what the company is doing. What happened here sure looks like some kind of rigor mortis.
Wish you all the best and good luck with MVPI
Adijas,
I sure wouldn't encourage anyone to file a lawsuit against Google but there is nothing to prevent MVPI from reinstating its suit.
The problem has been the enormous political favoritism of Google that may be waning.
I didn't even look before I noticed some signs of life but it might have been rigor mortis.
Best, Terry
Hi Terry,
Must admit I sold some time ago. Company went back to dark again. As fars as the Google lawsuit concerns, seems they give up on that.
On March 17, 2014, Visual Real Estate, Inc., our wholly-owned subsidiary and successor to MVP as a result of a corporate reorganization, filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Google Inc. in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. The lawsuit claims infringement of three of Visual Real Estate’s patents: U.S. Patent number 7,389,181, entitled “Apparatus and Method for Producing Video Drive-By Data Corresponding to a Geographic Location”; U.S. Patent number 7,929,800, entitled “Methods and Apparatus for Generating a Continuum of Image Data”; and U.S. Patent number 8,078,396, entitled “Methods for and Apparatus for Generating a Continuum of Three Dimensional Image Data.” Among other things, the complaint identifies Google Street View and Google Earth as infringing Visual Real Estate’s patents. The case number is 3:14-cv-00274-TJC-PDB. On August 20, 2014, Google, Inc. filed four petitions for InterParties Review (“IPR”) before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (“PTAB”) challenging our patent infringement claims. On January 25, 2016, the PTAB issued a final written decision on the IPR which was not favorable to the Company. The ruling, indicating that the claims were too broad, invalidated our most valuable claims. Therefore, we have dropped the law suit. We are in the process of determining if we want to pursue a second lawsuit with a tighter claim suit that speaks to the value of the additional damages that relate to having the very simple innovation that we brought to market of typing in an address and identifying a specific parcel location and picture of a property.
Thanks, Adijas, for filing.
The continuing ownership of this zombie by the Frost fund is interesting. Frost is a HUGE investor in biotech but this is way distant from biotech.
The importance to me is this tiny tyke is directly challenging Google's patent position with seeming backing by a real biggie.
Most likely MVPI will never climb out of its grave but it is a possibility with great consequences.
Best, Terry
Filings out http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/MVPI/filings
TA verified SS on OTCM https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/MVPI/profile
Thanks, see it now. Other investor is Melechdavid Inc. http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=10291526
Frost bought shares for what I think is a family trust in 2014.
Below is the SEC filing that I assume is required only because he bought from the corporation rather than buying on the market
I had a list of high-powered sorts that had bought but I don't know where it is now. The only one that mattered to me personally was Frost. All had bought just under the 5% limit that would require subsequent filing.

Yes they are, but looking at the timeline for the google case they expected a board ruling in 2016. So that could be close now. I believe there were some documents released this year.
Didn't know about Frost and couldn't find it. Very interesting. When did he invest?
Thanks, adijas.
I notice the slides are dated 2014. Until the last few days there wasn't even a sign of a pulse but maybe life will return.
I learned about MVPI only because Dr. Phillip Frost, a billionaire builder of large pharmas largely from penny stocks, had bought some shares. This is not his usual investment, which seem to be exclusively medical. I have no knowledge why Frost bought nor if he still has shares but it was intriguing.
Google may or may not be vulnerable to any patent suit but MVPI may possibly yet have valuable digital cartographic data technology itself.
Best, Terry
Hi Terry,
Thanks for the insight. I'm aware of the risks with patent stocks. Expectations are always very high, but it all depends on court rules. I started buying MVPI just recently when I discoverd activity and found this http://content.equisolve.net/mvportfolios/media/b2cb28fd15040f16c6c4ecdcca3b3015.pdf. I'm far from a patent expert, but I think it's worth the risk buying at these levels. I bought some more after the 8k. Tells me people are willing to invest in the company at .06, so the company has enough working capital to go on with their business. Hope it works out.
Good luck to you too!
Best of luck to you, Adijas.
In case you are unaware, Forms Holding [FH] is what remains of Vringo that won a patent infringement lawsuit against Google and then had the judgment thrown out by majority opinion of three judges on appeal.
The patent language in The Constitution has never been amended. It led to the greatest economic engine the world has ever seen but now entrepreneurs and inventors have been largely replaced by monopolists and lawyers.
JMO, of course. I made a token buy of MVPI back whenever largely in support of what little spark of ingenuity might remain in America.
Maybe a fire has been lit for real. My own scientific background from a time decades ago says MVPI has genuine claims but I have no great expectation MVPI has a future.
Surely hope I am wrong.
Best, Terry
Bought some yesterday. One update about Google and it's game on.
Not filing has nothing to do with cash sometimes. You might be right, but that's not always the case. Seeing some things happening behind the scenes means maybe they're not dead in the water yet...
Or just irresponsible. :o)
Bu they haven't filed in a long time. They must be out of cash.
I see they have an updated Lynkos account via 'Lynkos.com'. Looks like it was updated last week. Also I see a couple of newer documents in the Google case, but I don't have a pacer account to be able to pull them up. Looks like a couple documents in June 2016. Interesting since it had been over 2 years. Maybe they heard back from the patent office on their claims?
Other than that, just trying to follow the 'Visual Real Estate' trail down the rabbit hole for any tidbits.
So I see a pulse still... And that 1 million bid is a big signal to me that someone knows something or why would someone drop $10k in this? Very interesting stuff here...
$MVPI
They haven't filed in a long time.
What's the deal with this stock?
Zeppo,
Thanks for the feedback, Terry. Is MVPI's case THAT much stronger? Your thoughts are appreciated.
A penny stock gone dark along with resignation of a key executive may only need burial for all any remote interested party would know without information from unofficial sources.
How I wish I knew if Philip Frost still held stock and maintained interest:
Frost is a billionaire. He has made these billions by taking small companies and making them big. Frost started out by building Key Pharmaceuticals which he sold in 1986 and pocketed $100 million. Then he founded IVAX and as CEO built that company to the point where it was sold for $7.4 billion in 2006 to Teva Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:TEVA).
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2745565-combing-fund-holdings-frost-gamma-investment-trust-for-ideas
But MVPI has gone dark [abandoned reporting status].
For reference only another stock that once was in the same fix for years is now a shooting star with fast growing earnings and a horde of critics. The stock is INSY. Even Frost might be jealous.
PLEASE NOTE: I am not recommending MVPI nor INSY to anyone. Both are very high risk but I do solicit any information anyone has on MVPI.
Best, Terry
Anyone see reports from the Markman hearing? Also, I just noticed Google is doing a patent purchase program. Wondering if they are at all related.
http://www.google.com/patents/licensing/
Zeppo,
"Has Transcenic beaten MVPI to the punch?"
IMHO Transcenic has no case. That is based on a brief scan of documents and extensive but venerable experience generating and utilizing digital 3-D imagery.
A brief extraction from Bloomberg of the case:
