Hopefully we'll be seeing some news soon, at least, regarding the signing of those 11 new oil rigs mentioned in October news release.
Nice to see for sure, but I've been let down for far too long to get too excited about .01 and 150k volume. Although, my .0034s are looking pretty good right now. LOL
Yes we have...
Just sitting on the edge of my chair waiting for some serious revenue.
Cheers!
Where are the venerable long term MOPSTERS today? Getting some green action yesterday/today - kind of expected some noise from the fans.
I bought back in last year on a whim mostly - perhaps new owners will finally turn it around this year; goodness knows the long timers have been plenty patient.
Happy New Year to the board
Let's all hope MOPN kicks some oil this year!!
Afraid so....
Coal might. be worth more....
Merry Christmas
Cheers!
Looks like we all get coal in our stockings again this year. :)
50 bucks
doesn't buy much these days. Hope it wasn't Jamie.
Merry Christmas
16,500 shrs.....Looks like someone had to buy a Christmas present.
nice..clear..10Q..lets keep moving forward..MOPN
I guess it was the international sales force that generated those huge sales. Instead of borrowing money from a bank like most people have to do or generate sales, it is much easier to buy a shell and issue shares.
Most people generate income before they take a salary, but not in pinky land.
However, $125,000 in sales is a start and hopefully will increase in the quarters to come. The COGS margin is not bad. However, the administrative expenses were excessive.
What's the deal with 1.5m in admin expenses??
I personally would prefer they file their 10Q over seeing FB posts. One minute they post news seemingly pointing to JPO Absorbents becoming a legitimate player/company, the next, they can't even file their 10Q on time or even late and on time. Disappointing to say the least.

They have some great ideas.
Way to go kennyge....thanks for posting good info!
Agree sweet.
Good post....
Any idea where in Canada he is located?
Somehow I became Facebook Friends with Joel Stockford (MOPN Canada Guy) and this is what he posted today:

He seems very sharp and I would recommend Friending him.

I should have been more clear. I was able to buy 400k shares yesterday at .005, but I was trying to buy 200k at .006 and 200k at .007 and got 400k at .005. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I got them at the lower price, but it just seems a little fishy the way it happened. Sorry for the confusion.
seems like .005
is the bottom. Still using "all or none"? One day, IMO, .20 will be the bottom-again. Happy investing...Boog
Volume has picked up, roughly 2.8M since our last update, but the majority have been sells at the bid or lower. Considering the updates we've seen recently appear very positive and my failed attempts to buy above the bid , I'm smelling something funky around here.
Why doesn't someone ask Reck why he left. I always found him very approachable. As I understand it, he and Doron left on their own prior to the 'road trip', but I did not hear that from him.
I'd bet all or none is definitely the issue, but I've been burnt buying mopn without it.
No, sorry I don't know the particulars behind that move.
I can only imagine it was some kind of structural change after Jamie's road trip, some sort of disagreement between the two, hard to say. It was also at the time Ygal Doron was let go.
A whole lot of potential must have been realized on that trip for such wide sweeping changes on such an occurrence. IMO
We have a lot of history behind us and I'm looking forward to what the future is gonna bring.
Good luck to the new crew.
Don't get to excited just yet. Rig counts fluctuate daily and not all shown use the same absorbents. But 8 rigs is a great start.
Do you know why Jim Reck is no longer with MOP?
TIA
Maybe call your broker or
if your putting "all or none" it could affect it. I put in an order this a.m. before open for 100,000shrs@.005 with no qualifier and it did fill in 8 separate trades, but took all day. Commission was $9. After yesterdays' PR, it was a nice surprise to see 100,000 more shrs in my account. I can't believe people are selling this low. I think we're looking at a BIG run in the coming months and I'll be buying more under a penny. This thing hit the low .30's once and IMO could easily do it again with the right PR.
Another day of me trying to buy 200k shares at .006 and 100k at .007 only to see 650k shares trade at .005.
Thanks for the link.
The math could look seriously good.
Cheers.
Sorry, here is the actual link
http://www.bakerhughes.com/rig-count
You can check the Baker Hughes Rig count here
https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=baker%20hughes%20rig%20count
The number changes daily and with production down the numbers may be lower than normal.
I agree.....great pr
They need to put it on a more well read news service like business wire or??
If 8 oil rigs = $1,000,000 then 11 rigs could be another 1,375,000. Can anyone do the math based on how many rigs there are and what revenue we could expect. I'm too old to do math.... :)
Cheers!!
I don't know how broad this accesswire is I can tell you it hasn't hit Fidelity yet
Anyone know if this news released everywhere yet? Not showing up on etrade.. This seems like news that would get some interest.. Does look like some volume created but not much
That is a WOW finishgreen
This is exactly what Charles and Tim Crowley were working so hard to accomplish. It's almost sad to see it here now without them. Charlie was the dreamer and inventor type while Tim worked with what little moneys and with big dreams (but good skills) of his own.
I'm most happy to see what has taken place here with the new management, but I would be remiss If I didn't mention another individual who worked equally as hard and with much dedication and you all know I'm talking about Jim Reck. He was a big part of where we are today and thinking back to the early days of when Jim Axelrod was entertained by Mr. Diamond with the fish tank that never made national t.v. well, let's just say we've come a long way baby.
We have a new skipper who's also made some tough decisions and worked very had to reach the point where no other before him could only dream of.
It's all good news and the future looks bright for MOPENVIRONMENTAL.com
Best of luck to the new crew. Keep us posted and good luck.
I'm going with a somewhat skeptical WOW!!!
Could this finally be what mopn has been looking for, for years? Contracts and sales etc
Only time will tell what affect this has on pps .. Any other old timers have an opinion (newbie opinions welcome too) lol
I think we are in for a big bump and hopefully some $$$ for all of us. I am going to hold on to my 1/2 mil shares.
Interesting developments
http://www.baystreet.ca/viewarticle.aspx?id=432878
Interesting. I had 2 orders in to buy 200k shares at .006 and 100k at .007 and they didn't get filled but 390k did for less.
Hey sweet, I check in once in awhile since I still have a small amount of shares.. Looks like things may be different this time around but we'll see..
Those BB's looking a little shaky this year but a long way to go..
Cheers
Finally, some light at the end of the tunnel. I hope it doesn't take long to start shipping product. mid to late October the report says but we shall see.
Have to say, it's nice to see things appearing to come together and no one selling at .009 today. Hope it holds and we see some more deals signed soon.
Nice - thanks for posting. Appears there is a plan in place - perhaps longs will be rewarded for their years of patience.
Maybe things will start to pick up some steam.
Nice to see you back, BB fan.
Cheers!
Was wondering what that volume was from yesterday.. Guess I have my answer.. Good news.. That's a better pr than the old company ever put out.. Let's see if that volume continues
Thats some outstanding news WOLDUMAR
Been waiting for this, a real ice breaker!!
Thanks

MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. and JPO Companies, Inc. Complete Merger
The nearly-four-year saga of MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. (Pinksheets: MOPN) from near-bankruptcy following the death of CEO and Inventor Charles Diamond to a company poised to break out in the environmental remediation arena, is finally completed; as today James O’Brien, CEO of the new MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. announced the completion of the merger between MOP and JPO Companies, Inc. bringing the JPO Absorbents line of products under the MOP banner.
“We knew that this was going to be a challenging process,” said CEO O’Brien, “JPO was a great little company and MOP was in trouble, but had the intellectual property that we needed to break out - to make us stand out in the field. Bringing the two companies together with some new products - like MOP Plus - combining the technologies of the two companies has created a company where truly the whole is greater than the sum of the parts; we are incredibly excited about the future. ”
“For the past year we have been field testing the response of customers and prospects to our new JPO-Ultra Blend, the JPO-100 series, current MOP products, and to MOP Plus, our newest product. The response has been tremendous! Combining the intellectual property, the patents and the assets of the two companies allows us to aggressively reach out to both the response side and the maintenance side of the spill cleanup market - something that very few other companies can do. We believe that the result will be exponential rather than linear growth for the new MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. through the existing relationships and extensive network of JPO Absorbents.”
“Jamie O’Brien deserves a lot of credit for having the foresight to bring this merger to completion,” said James Reck, Vice President of the new MOP Environmental Solutions. “He has carefully tested the markets and then constructed a solid pathway for the merger that will allow us to hit the ground running, including bringing MOPN into compliance with Pinksheets and taking steps to protect the interests of shareholders in the process.”
With characteristic modesty, O’Brien said, “A lot of people deserve credit for where we are today, this hasn’t been a one man show. Jim Reck has kept us moving ahead even when things seemed to be tied up in knots. This has been a team effort and moving forward it will be the new core group that makes MOP Environmental Solutions a powerhouse in the spill response/clean up and environmental remediation field. I am proud to be associated with these folks and I look forward to making things happen for MOP and JPO.”

MOP is an aggressive oleophyllic and hydrophobic
(oil attracting and water repelling) recycled fiber sorbent, made from fully
biodegradable components.
MOP sorbents are specifically formulated for either oil pick up on water, oils spills
on land or hard surfaces or spills containing water base or oil base liquids.
MOP products can be completely recycled by a number of processes:
bioremediation in a land farm, burning as a fuel in an appropriate biomass
system, composting or pelletizing the material for use in a stove. In most states, it
can also be simply disposed of as you would any other solid waste.
MOP Environmental Solution’s Oil spill containment and remediation remains the most important aspect of our mission and is built around our patented MOP Maximum Oil Pickup sorbents, MOP 201, MOP 301 and 401.
MOP sorbents are the most cost-effective and performance-efficient sorbents on the planet. MOP, (Maximum Oil Pickup) sorbents are used to create a family of products and solutions that yield a more environmentally sound and financially beneficial end result by reducing the generation of hazardous wastes where removal of oil from water based-solvents and coolants can be achieved.
MOP – Maximum Oil Pickup oil sorbent (Oil absorption medium) is – by far – the most cost-efficient and performance-effective oil sorbent in existence.
MOP 201 is optimized for use on water.
MOP 301 is optimized for use on land and specifically is designed to aid in the remediation of oil contaminated soil where recovery of the resource is not possible or desired. Both can be used in either environment, but their effectiveness is maximized when they are used according to their optimization. MOP 201 and 301 absorb oil and repel water.
MOP 401 absorbs both oil-based liquids and water-based liquids. MOP 401 is a Universal sorbent and a floor sweep.
While the formula for MOP is a trade secret, it is possible to say that all the major components of MOP sorbents are created from all recycled materials. For customers and others interested in recycling and environmental stewardship it is important to know that the sorbents are created from sectors of the waste stream, known as “recovered materials” the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) term for materials that are technically recyclable but that otherwise are without markets for the recycled materials. EPA, understandably, places a high priority on the use of items that employ “recovered materials” giving MOP an additional leg up on the competition in government bids and contract negotiations. Furthermore, because recovered materials constitute the highest percentage of our sorbent’s makeup, our raw materials costs are more stable and predictable and less subject to the fluctuations of the market for other raw materials like polypropylene.
MOP’s patented process employs only biodegradable materials. The final formula makes 201 and 301 sorbents Oleophilic (oil loving/absorbant) and hydrophobic (water hating/repelling). With properties like this, the moment that the sorbent is spread on an oil spill on land or water, it sucks up the oil and repels any water. This means that as the sorbent is cleaned up only oil is captured with it. For those circumstances where picking up both hydrocarbon-based liquids and water-based liquids is desired (an automobile accident, a garage floor for example) MOP 401 is optimized to absorb almost all liquids.
The current MOP product offerings are being sold as MOP but under the JPO Absorbents heading. So our price list shows our JPO line of absorbent products, AND the current MOP products that we offer. And they are identified by their MOP part numbers. MOP 201, MOP 301, etc. It’s great to see MOP back in use and available from distributors.
Given JPO’s presence in the marketplace and the existing relationships we have in all major markets, it just makes sense to include the MOP line under one umbrella. With the MOP line of absorbent products, JPO is truly the one stop solution for any spill, in any environment at any time.
