Thoughts on how to play IGD, IID, and other ING stocks before the rebranding as Voya Investment Management in May??

ORC does not meet my criteria of paying dividends for at least 5 years.
With that said it bears watching for another 4 years before I could recommend this to anyone.
Will put it on my watch list for future addition to the list.
GO4AWILDRIDE
Check out ORC. With a .18 monthly dividend, and the current share price below $12.50, the simple dividend yield is 17.5%/year!
ORC is not only profitable and raising money to become more profitable, but is set to become one of the hottest stocks of 2014. They are raising their dividend rather than lowering it.

Invest in the amount you can afford.
Remember the interest will/can just sit there until you have enough to reinvest in that stock or another priced stock.
Just because you received interest in say CLM does not mean you can only buy CLM with the money that comes from them.
Every time money becomes available I make the decision to either buy or wait till more money becomes available to reinvest.
The money you used to buy shares is getting you WAY MORE than what any bank would pay you to hold your money with them.
Hope this answers your concerns.
HAPPY INVESTING (no matter what the amount is)

How much do you guys usually invest in these? I'm just curious because I don't have as much as I would like to invest, but I try to make sure that I buy at least enough shares so that my dividend is high enough to afford one more share of stock every month. What do the rest of you think? Does that sound like enough? Not enough?

Wow great board. Just found this Jewell!
Whoops, my mistake. VLCCF IS Quarterly....
Would you please add VLCCF to your Quarterly Dividend Stocks review, GO4AWILDRIDE?
Monthly. It's currently $0.175 p/m (8.91%).
Does VLCCF pay a monthly or quarterly?
GO4AWILDRIDE, please add vlccf (Knightsbridge Tankers Limited) on the NASDAQ, to your monthly div. list. TIA.
AAR recent drop. Is this a possible point in time to invest into AAR? Why is it going down?
Laraz5
Not to my knowledge, if you find one please post it here so I can review it for addition to the list.

Following review for GIIZF
This stock does not meet the time aspect of over 10 years(Oct 2010), what it does have in it's favor is a HIGH DIVIDEND plus the fact it has not missed a dividend for the last 29 months. This is worth watching for 6-12 months if the dividends continue I would then give it a THUMBS UP
GO4AWILDRIDE

The following is the research I found:
JMI. This stock is worth watching for a few more years, the reasons are stock inception was Oct 2012 and it only has a history of 5 dividend payments.
This makes this a possible future buy, not a buy in my opinion at this time.
SBR This stock meets the time line of over 10 years but dividend yield is only 7.18% in it's favor is the fact it appears to be a GROWTH STOCK that pays a reasonable dividend as well. Plus it also at $55 PPS should be a steady producer. IMO THIS IS A SAFE STOCK FOR THOSE WHO SHUN RISKIER STOCKS WITH A MID RANGE DIVIDEND. I GIVE IT A THUMBS UP
SCPZF This stock has the years needed but only recently started paying dividends(4 months). This stock shows a steady growth but at a very slow rate $1.00 to $4.50 over 10 year period. This stock is worth watching for another 2-3 years to determine if the dividends will continue.

Hi GO4,
Thanks for your work!
I wondered if JE has been on the list, or if it has been moved out? The price has taken some beating lately and my hope is of course that it comes back, but you never know.....
Fantastic! Thank you. The list's been a very nice source of information.

Talk about IRONIC
I was in the process of update and was getting back to I-hub to put in the new data when I saw your message.
Update will be in a few minutes.

Hi GO4AWILDRIDE,
An update this Month would be awesome ! I htink there were changes to AOD/AGD recently ;) Thank you.
I understand-that's not what I meant.

I don't think it is a Scottrade issue but an IRS one and Scottrade is trying to stop you from getting into IRS trouble.
I think you can only withdrawal from an inherited IRA account.
Don't know what the taxes on it would be, best to get advice from a CPA from a reputable firm.
IRS is not a government agency you want to piss off.
GO4AWILDRIDE
Yes, thanks again.
I spoke to Jason, I had all of my accounts transferred over there, instead of the branch I was using by default.
They still tell me I cannot move any security out of an inherited IRA to a Roth. Doesn't make any sense to me though. If I pay the conversion it should be transferable, wouldn't you agree?

I expect the next update to be no later than May or before if possible.
Oh yeah a new post is created showing the update date.
Did you also find the quarterly dividend board too?
GO4AWILDRIDE
PS:Let Kevin know that Matt is no longer manager at the Scottrade office we use.
I went in today to drop off a bank check for my IRA (2012) deposit and there is now a Jason as the manager.
Heard Matt tried his hand at politics but lost and now he has no job(had to quit to run) Scottrade rule.

Thanks for the info.
Do you change them frequently? Monthly?
When/if you update the list, do you them change the "update" date?
Thanks again

JE does not have a long enough history to even get a second of thought, maybe after another 5 years or so would I even give them a look.
GO4AWILDRIDE
JE is finally under 7.70 like i called it about week ago. They will probably see a few dips to the 6.88 range but i think they may hold until the next earnings report and will slowly build back to the $10 a share range over the next few months as summer increases need for energy. I believe if you look at the chart history, the last few years this stock has seen it's peak in April to May.
I think JE is still a great play and now is the time to buy as it dropped about 1.50 today :( due to in April the div will drop to about .07 a month. Pissed investors are leaving due to the drop but with new div for every 1.75ish pending buy in you will recieve about .0101 a share MONTHLY!
THIS BELOW IS FROM A POST ON THE JE BOARD: (WE NEED A MOD ALSO)
Currently JE has been recovering from a bad year they lost money in their ethanol dept and acquired some loans to where they are in debt i believe. But buy in the 7.7 to 8.9 range and anything under that is gravy. They also dropped the div to .07 per share a month. Also remember there is a Canadian sec tax of 15% this will drop it to .0505 a share which is still a great monthly dividend which when you think about it for every 1.75 you spend right now you gain about 1 cent a month. This is a great stock I believe for the Div. and any thing you can but under 7.70 is gravy. I would use the next year to load up for 2014 and they will be doing even better in 2015.
Highlights for the three months ended December 31, 2012, included:
? Gross customer additions through marketing of 341,000, up 10% compared to 310,000 in the third quarter of fiscal 2012. The 341,000 customers is a continuation of consistently high levels of customer additions seen over the past two years.
? Consumer customer additions were 150,000, up 34% from fiscal 2012. Commercial additions of 191,000 were down 4% from the record 198,000 added a year earlier.
? National Home Services installed base up 44% year over year to 222,000 with gross margin up 32% to $9.5 million. Including NHS customers, Just Energy exited the year at 4,346,000 customers, up 11% from a year earlier.
? TGF ethanol plant margin down sharply to $2.2 million for the quarter from $6.5 million in fiscal 2012.
? Overall gross margin of $142.5 million, down 3% year over year.
? Adjusted EBITDA of $72.5 million, down 18% year over year, reflecting earnings before marketing expenditures to add new gross margin.
? Future embedded gross margin of $2.2 billion ($15.19 per share), up 12% year over year from $1.9 billion ($13.56 per share).
? Payout ratio on Adjusted EBITDA was 62% for the quarter, compared to 50% for the three months ended December 31, 2011. For the trailing 12 months, the payout ratio was 65% compared to 60% a year earlier.
? Payout ratio on trailing 12-month Base Funds from Operations was 172%, up from 96% a year earlier as cash from operations was used to fund growth expenditures which have rapid payback periods.
? Year to date gross margin growth of 9% lags behind published annual guidance of 10% to 12%, and year to date Adjusted EBITDA down 6%, well below the published annual guidance of 8% to 10%.
it's a good time to get in but I’m waiting for about 7.70 a share I think people leaving will drop the share price to a new low

I looked at ARR finally and am not impressed with it.
Reasons are:
1: Stock only has a history since 2003.
2: No dividend paid until 3/11/2010 and it was a quarterly paying stock then.
3: Started paying monthly on 1/12/2011 and stopped paying after 6/13/2011.
4: Missed July & August dividends and who knows if it will start up again.
If you feel this is a good investment by all means go for it, but it does not make the grade on this board at least not at this time frame.
PSEC has been moved from the Quarterly board to this board as the Intro message has mentioned a few months ago that I was watching PSEC for that move.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS spread the money over as many different stocks as possible.
(Not putting all of one's eggs in one basket so to speak.)
You can never tell if one stock may stop paying out dividends for an extended period of time and then the stock price will most likely drop causing loss of principal.

Am planning on updating this weekend & will look over both.
PS: I believe that PSEC is currently covered on the QUARTERLY BOARD & if I remember correctly it maybe moved to this board as it appears that they R paying on a monthly basic now.
