It's going to continue to drop I think, I'm holding off on any moves for a while until it looks like it's found a bottom.

Scaling in here with calls, you gotta think the Saudi's are not just going to let this die after pumping in so much money. Tesla sinking EV stocks but if was on a b.s analysis that probably went short. A buy in 2.80s IMO but I am sticking with September calls, more leveraged for upside. Will double up if it hits 2.60s premiums will come down substantially for 2.5 strike. Hopefully up from here but I am still scaling in. GLTA

Basically agree with you. I think the model after Gravity should do well if they keep the design concept similar to the first two but get the price into Model Y territory.
The other thing is they need to execute, execute, execute. The slightest delay or quality control problem and they will bleed out and bankrupt. It’s a gamble for sure, I hope they do well.
Baby steps is why I am in this. The massive Arizona facility is truly impressive. $50k model on the horizon. Plenty of growth potential. ya, ya, ya they are hemorrhaging money, but it's being invested, and for me, that's smart spending.
Don't lose sight that this is a luxury car, it's not intended for the masses.
HODL'ing
When this pops it’s going to explode. Can’t wait. 👍
Lucid Motors Quadruples Its Arizona Manufacturing Plant And CEO Peter Rawlinson Explains Why
Don't blame ya.
Could be a good flipper ticker if it's played right but yep we're years away from anything going boom.
I'm out. I sold my position today. This is an unfortunate loser for me as I've lost a bit of money on this one. LCID will either be bankrupt or it's going to take 5-7 years before it's even profitable. Good luck everyone.
Is this the new that seriously sent this up 20%?
If LCID is to R/S then the shorts will come back in droves and pps will dive...not a good thing...
That's the playbook used on M*LN over and over again with the help of the dirtbag CEO. The difference here is Lucid doesn't have a ton of toxic lenders on the books. The Saudi PIF is the majority owner and will protect their investment at all costs. They just opened a plant late last year in SA that'll pump out 5,000 p/yr now and over 150K in a couple of years when it's fully up and running. They won't have to burn thru all that cash in the US to build cars so they can sit on a lot. They can just send the kits to SA for assembly and sale there. I spent quite a few years in the region and saw the influence of the Saudi playboys. They love luxury toys. Car sales will skyrocket there and the surrounding countries (Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Oman, Fujarah, etc.). It makes sense to do an RS sooner rather then later with catalists on the horizon.
Maybe the shorting of LCID began on 01/27/23 again 06/05/23 and more recently 12/14 and 12/15 2023...those were high volume days...why would there be a need for R/S that would be unwise...shorts will cover eventually and send pps back up...according to reviews Lucid motors are top notch EVs...
I agree. The Gravity has the potential to turn this back in the right direction, and the timeline for the next model (the Model Y competitor) should be coming out with more definitive timeline sometime by Summer I would guess. Fingers crossed, I’d love to see this company make it.
I think a reverse split is a good possibility
More institutional money is heading for the exits
Retail will be the bagholders
We blew right through the $3's - and it didn't take long either!
I'm watching for a new entry point, but not sure right now what to expect. The talk of an RS has me reluctant to chance it.
I really - REALLY - hope you are wrong. Sigh.
Outstanding Shares 2,289,429,227 as of 11/01/2023. RS request already being drafted. Just a matter of what date they decide to put it out for vote.
I really hope they don’t RS, that would be catastrophic.
You are talking about desperate on NWBO. How about your picks here and TLRY. Couldn’t be more wrong. 🤡🤡
Does anyone remember when TSLA was under $3.00?
I am happy to say your my first iggy , congratulations
Haha. You can’t predict anything right.
What happened to $5 TLRY last week??
🤡🤡
going to 2.50
Agree and a R/S will be needed.
He sure did make out pretty good on that deal didn't he?
I'm excited to see where this goes by the end of Summer - When Gravity comes out, then they'll introduce the next model for the following year or so - this should really be interesting to watch. I'm hoping they'll be able to reduce the price on the Gravity a little - I think $10k lower and they have a real hit product there. In the meantime, I think this will just continue to drop lower, I wouldn't be surprised if we break into the $1.50ish range at some point later this Spring.
Seriously. I was sold on this dam company. What a bleeping shit company. Fortune for the CEO while longs suffer.
Agreed. They are fully embracing it for sure. I personally wouldn't pay top tier money for a Kia, Hyundai or Genesis as the low quality and very poor customer service has turned me off from them after owning for a while, but at the lower entry points I would seriously consider them. I think this sales performance of the EV9 shows Gravity is poised to be a success if they can get it to market before they run out of cash - EV9 is competing directly with the Telluride and is actually more expensive - and it's doing well.
Kia is eventually going to be the next big EV manufacturer here with competitive models to boot along with Genesis and Hyundai.
Kia EV9 sales reached 1,113 in the US last month - that's approaching full quarters of sales for the Air Sedan and these are the very first models that are being made in South Korea. When Kia moves the manufacturing to the plant in Georgia, the EV9 will qualify for the $7500 tax credit making it even more attractive.

I have no idea what you're trying to explain. COVID? Smack Down?
Just not following.
Mindless, ergo no reason. COVID put the smack down on this company. Don’t buy the stock, buy the company.
Panic selling? Is there some news I haven't seen yet to cause a panic? What are you referring too???
People mindlessly panic selling. HODL!
A lot of momentum today. This may just keep edging up toward 6 on Friday. After Thursday's action, shorts should not attempt to brave the weekend.
I'm really looking forward to getting into the low $3s... $2s would be amazing if it's not done through dilution.
I think they will need to dilute but not until 2025, they are very strong cash position at the moment, and are on the verge of creating more revenue soon.
