Excellent news! I know they are in place and ready to act as soon as they are able to, Legally
I think this bodes well for Khiron. Mexico seems to be taking the same path Canada did, the courts initiated here too before the legislators managed to do anything

Companies in California face many hurdles that companies outside the US do not have to deal with
This is why the global market is more likely to thrive near term possibly forever depending how long it takes for the US to get out of its own way.
California as the 5th largest economy implies it is cohesive. It is not. More local jurisdictions ban cannabis than allow it.
Meanwhile Khiron is being accommodated and actively assisted by the countries they are expanding into.
https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-06-14/california-struggling-marijuana-industry-cash-grants-budget
Are they growing premium bud a scale and selling for a high price? If so, they have a chance. If they play their cards right, their 6 million square feet will supply much of the US when they allow interstate commerce. That will leave the rest of the MSOs with redundant grow space they have to unload just like the LPs in Canada. Once the listing settles down and all the early money guys take their profits it might be worth a look. The fact they are in California is a bonus. The 5th largest economy in the world will keep their lights on while the rest of the country gets its act together. It looks like a much better deal than many I have seen.
Weed has proven to be extremely difficult to grow at scale. Any stress can cause hermies then there is powdery mildew and pests. If they can do it they will be very successful. I hope it does well for you. Thank you for mentioning it, I will put it on watch :)
I had to read that bit of humor again.....so funny. You're full of shit.
Have you ever heard of Glass House Group one of the largest growers in California? they merged with Mercer Park and have over 500,000Ft of canopy. The Founder of Ayer Welness is also the founder of Mercer Park and we all know how that SPAC turned out.

It's your story.
I do not like SPACs at all. As I understand them the retail investors get the privilege of guaranteeing the rich guy’s returns on his investment. If they do not deploy the money the rich guys get their original investment back. As a retailer the only thing I see as a possible benefit is maybe the SPAC bringing a good private company into the public realm. Anybody that has a reason that SPACs are anything positive for retail I would love to hear it.
The stock market is nuanced. I have done very well being illogical :) I go with what works. Go where the market will be, not where it is……. Kind of Gretzkyesque. There are no algos for that.

Definitely under the radar for most, it’s a newly listed SPAC.

Alvaro Torres, CEO and Director comments, "I am pleased to announce the first expansion of our Zerenia brand beyond Colombia. Knowing that prescription rates at our Zerenia clinics are 14 times higher than those of our external clinic partners, we are excited to bring a proven marketing, sales, and distribution model to a market of over ten million people. To date, our Zerenia clinics have played a vital role in not only introducing patients to Khiron products, but also in developing an exceptional patient experience and growing base of returning patients. As we continue to develop our unique, service-oriented platform, we are proud to introduce Zerenia to the Peruvian market, where initial reception to our products has been strong since sales began late last year."
With over 30 years of experience in Peru, Clinica Montesur is dedicated to high quality care across 19 areas of specialization, including oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and psychology. As part of the strategic partnership, Clinica Montesur will provide clinic infrastructure, including its medical facility, clinic permits, systems, and medical staff, among others. The partnership will leverage Khiron's unique Zerenia(TM) medical cannabis model, including the Company's medical cannabis education platform, real-world evidence, and standard operating procedures. Patients of the clinic will be able to fill prescriptions for High THC and Low THC (CBD) medical cannabis at ten Farmacia Universal S.A.C. locations throughout Lima, as previously announced by the Company.
There is a difference between trading and investing. I am invested in Khiron as long as they continue progressing. With the demise of the US dollar as the main world currency it make sense to diversify to global assets
Yeah and we all know Ted Ohashi's track record. One could have made a crapload of money shorting all of his recommendations a few years ago.

The patient base will get much larger soon. Scientists are finally able to study this plant and what they are finding is amazing. No surprise to anyone who had to dodge the law to get the relief the plant gives them.

Abstract
Cannabis sativa L. is a source of over 150 active compounds known as phytocannabinoids that are receiving renewed interest due to their diverse pharmacologic activities. Indeed, phytocannabinoids mimic the endogenous bioactive endocannabinoids effects through activation of CB1 and CB2 receptors widely described in the central nervous system and peripheral tissues. All phytocannabinoids have been studied for their protective actions towards different biological mechanisms, including inflammation, immune response, oxidative stress that, altogether, result in an inhibitory activity against the carcinogenesis. The role of the endocannabinoid system is not yet completely clear in cancer, but several studies indicate that cannabinoid receptors and endogenous ligands are overexpressed in different tumor tissues. Recently, in vitro and in vivo evidence support the effectiveness of phytocannabinoids against various cancer types, in terms of proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenesis, actions partially due to their ability to regulate signaling pathways critical for cell growth and survival. The aim of this review was to report the current knowledge about the action of phytocannabinoids from Cannabis sativa L. against cancer initiation and progression with a specific regard to brain, breast, colorectal, and lung cancer as well as their possible use in the therapies. We will also report the known molecular mechanisms responsible for such positive effects. Finally, we will describe the actual therapeutic options for Cannabis sativa L. and the ongoing clinical trials. View Full-Text

Helps against stress and depression..... it is no surprise at all. This is why people are willing to break the “law” to have this medicine. It makes them feel better. The sooner the governments start helping people feel better and heal the better off we all are!

“Databases were systematically searched for articles that met inclusion criteria, and effect sizes between control chronic unpredictable stress groups and cannabinoid-treated chronic unpredictable stress groups were calculated. A meta-analysis of the 26included articles indicated that cannabinoids prevent the negative effects of chronic unpredictable stress, suggesting that the development of cannabinoid-based drugs has the potential to treat stress-related disorders such as depression.“
