Shorts hold a good position here and have made a ton of money shorting this for the past 3 years. going to hang in and keep buying as long as the volume is there.

I actually sold some shares last week, assuming that this would be a quick hit and I should take the money and run. I wish I had those 8K shares now. I started buying less than $2 just 2-3 weeks ago.

And, every day, this keeps moving on up. Now that we are $5, margin will allow me to buy more with less money. I guess the analysts are not up to date with how well the company is doing.

$KEG surges ~15% after a board member discloses the purchase of 25K shares, increasing his personal equity stake by more than 6x.

Scott Vogel paid $9/share, or $225K overall, as KEG holdings increased to nearly 29K shares, according to an SEC filing last night.

KEG shares have slumped 15% over the past month and 68% YTD.

Day two of post-earnings losses for Key Energy

In its first full quarter since emerging from bankruptcy, Key Energy (KEG -6%) on Wednesday night reported adjusted EBTIDA of negative $11M, and adjusted pretax loss of $39.7M or $1.97 per share.

Rig services revenue of $60.3M was down 2.4% from Q4; fluid management services revenue of $17.9M down 0.5%; coiled tubing services revenue of $5.3M down 30.3%; fishing and rental services revenue of $15.9M up 5.8%.

International revenue of $2.1M down 64.8%.
Excluding activity put off by a large customer in CA thanks to heavy rains, rig services revenue was up 8% from Q4.

Management is seeing increases in activity and additional traction on discount recovery thus far in Q2. The company expects to see Q2 revenue growth of 10% with strong incremental margins.

Yes I'm invested in Key, got in early after KEY emerged from BK and will hold Key for an Energy Service Growth stock.

The future looks VERY bright from what I can see and by what I have been told!

The oilfield service business (which Key provides)is picking up here in South Texas. The old wells are coming back into production now with the Oil prices above $50
