Hello...

I have bad news for you...

I just called Tracy at Kellstrom Industries....at 954-538-2000.

She told me that this stock has nothing to do with thier company.

That the company did go bankrupt in 2002 and this company was purchased out of the bankruptcy courts and is currently privately owned...and has nothing to do with this stock...

Sorry for the bad news for you....I was going to take a gamble on it and decided to call the company prior to gambling...

I have held shres for quite a few years and they never came out or chjanged listing in my scottrade account. The symbol did change with the addition of Q but that was the only thing I seen changed in many years>

The article is referencing KELLQ's subsidiary, however, my question is since nothing has been referenced in the news or filings for KELLQ since 2001 or so were these shares cancelled and they are about to issue new shares, or are these shares the actual shares that should be trading and not cancelled as some Q shares never get cancelled when they should be.

Aerosonic signs up Kellstrom Defense Aerospace as distributor

Aerosonic Corp. signed an agreement with Kellstrom Defense Aerospace Inc. to represent and distribute Aerosonic products.
Aerosonic (NYSE: AIM), based in Clearwater, manufactures aviation products. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed in a media release.

Kellstrom Defenses, a division of Miramar-based Kellstrom Industries, is engaged in aftermarket logistics and inventory support for commercial and defense aerospace industries.
Aerosonic produces precision flight instruments for aircraft, which are product lines Kellstrom has been developing, the company statement said.

Manager of Defense Distributions
Location: Defense Sales

Description:

Responsible for the management of Defense aircraft distribution accounts, to include the assistance in the development, implementation and monitoring of each distributions marketing strategy with the goal of advancing the company’s relationship with current and future distribution partners. Increase the company’s sales of distribution products by performing the following duties:

Essential functions

Prepare drafts of potential distribution agreements and obtain appropriate approval prior to their distribution.
Oversee and manage distribution agreements to maintain the relationship and see that all reporting is done timely and all reviews and planning requirements are met.
Communicate with the OEM’s to learn of new product offerings and/or potential selling points or sales techniques for the products they offer. Then communicate this information to the Kellstrom Sales Team.
Coordinate timely receipt, distribution, and maintenance of product information and training with the Sales Team.
Frequently travels independently in order to promote organizations products and services.
Attend industry tradeshows and conferences, as required, to promote distribution products and services, maintain relationships with the OEM’s and look to develop new distribution opportunities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

5 to 10 years experience working in a Defense Material Sales Organization. Working knowledge of a C130, P3 or F16 aircraft is a plus. Previous experience in managing OEM products as a distributor is also a plus. The individual should be project oriented and goal focused with strong communication skills. Should be experienced in giving sales presentations to suppliers and customers.

Repair Administrator
Location: Commercial Engine Sales

Description:

Receives interdepartmental and outside work orders for aircraft parts repairs, routes work orders to repair Shops, and compiles cost reports. Provides support to the Sales Department by keeping them apprised of the status of sold materials sent out for repair/overhaul.

Essential functions

Updates the inventory system with revised status of work in process and repair quotes.
Reduces the cost of repairs through negotiations and/or by providing parts from inventory, or elicits supports from Purchasing to search the surplus market.
Must be familiar with managing material in repair and the process of receiving material from repair as well as familiar with the repair and receiving phoenix modules.
