Does anybody have a phone number for Chloe?
Somebody should call and make sure he's okay.
Yep!! She finally did him in. No posts from him in how long?
She either broke his fingers or he's dead, lol.
4,642,974 candy bars sold. Just kidding, I have no clue either.
You told me your story about the market. I'm glad it did you right.
I got out of the market 'bout 5 yrs ago and haven't looked back. It wasn't for me. I don't wanna know how many chocolate bars Nestle's sold last quarter.
Do you think Chloes wife finally took care of him once and for all?
Do you know how to read?
Dune is one of the all-time best novels ever written, imo.
Frank Herbert ...Wall you can do better!
There are universal truths......thy shall not steal!
Caution is good......fear is not.
The Catholic Church knows the truth and they're hiding it. The others are clueless.
According to your paradigm where God is someone who is outside, over there, and not someone who is inside over here...yes, I can understand that you believe that fear sustains. It is a primal brain notion in my paradigm.
I believe OT writings were avante garde back in the day. Language, meaning the connotations of words has greatly expanded. To convey these verses differently does not undo them. Can you imagine what these authors would say about the magic of a vehicle? Can you imagine what they would write as their interpretation of its divine indwelling? These people knew nothing of electricity. We know so much more. We are held now to a higher expression.
All sacred writings are from what I call The Fractal. This is a mathematical concept that crystalizes an idea through time and space and is time specific as to wording, ie "letter of the law" however is timeless in its interpretation, ie "spirit of the law." I can see the timelessness rise up from these words and am inspired by them, however my connotation of the word fear is much different then when it was written in these verses...or even translated from the Hebrew.
Of course this singular genetic anomaly is the prima facia evidence for an entire philosophical/spiritual stance. You win. You are right. It is absolutely true that No Fear=Mental Disorder. No need for further discussion. I understand.
...sigh...
[edit]Social and psychological
Individuals with Williams syndrome report higher anxiety levels as well as phobia development, which may be associated with hyperacusis (high sensitivity to certain frequencies of sound).[30] Williams syndrome is also strongly associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and related psychological symptoms such as poor concentration, hyperactivity, and social disinhibition.[3]
Cognitively, individuals with Williams syndrome typically have global Intelligence Quotient scores in the 50s and 60s (an IQ score of 100 is the average in nonaffected populations), though higher scores are occasionally observed. In particular, individuals with Williams syndrome experience challenges in visual-motor skills and visuospatial construction. Most affected individuals cannot spatially orient themselves in space, or reconstruct an object from smaller parts. Many adults with Williams syndrome cannot complete a simple six-piece puzzle designed for young children, for example. These visuospatial decificts may be related to damage to the dorsal cortical pathway for visual processing.[31]
Despite their physical and cognitive deficits, individuals with Williams syndrome exhibit impressive social and verbal abilities. Williams patients can be highly verbal relative to their IQ. When children with Williams syndrome are asked to name an array of animals, they may well list such a wild assortment of creatures as a koala, saber-toothed tiger, vulture, unicorn, sea lion, yak, ibex and "Brontosaurus rex", a far greater verbal array than would be expected of children with IQs in the 60s.[32] The language used by individuals with Williams syndrome differs notably from unaffected populations, including individuals matched for IQ. People with Williams syndrome tend to use speech that is rich in emotional descriptors, high in prosody (exaggerated rhythm and emotional intensity), and features unusual terms and strange idioms.[31]
Among the hallmark traits of individuals with Williams syndrome is an apparent lack of social inhibition. Infants with Williams syndrome make normal and frequent eye contact, and young children with Williams will often approach and hug strangers. Individuals affected by Williams syndrome typically have high empathy, and are rarely observed displaying aggression. The level of friendliness observed in people with Williams is often inappropriate for the social setting, however, and teens and adults with Williams syndrome often experience social isolation, frustration, and loneliness despite their clear desire to connect to other people.[31]
In one experiment, a group of children with Williams syndrome showed no signs of racial bias, unlike children without the syndrome. Both samples showed gender bias, demonstrating differing mechanisms for the two biases.[33]
No fear.... Mental disorder
The drama class had just gotten out, and everybody was standing around talking when Jessica noticed her 9-year-old, Isabelle, making her way over to an elderly woman Jessica had never seen. The woman was neatly dressed, most likely just a well-meaning suburban grandmother who had come to retrieve a grandchild on behalf of an over-extended parent, most likely a perfectly harmless person.
Isabelle, as she usually did, exchanged hellos and struck up a conversation. It was the usual post-drama-class conversation until about two minutes in. Then Isabelle dropped the bomb.
"Will you take me? Can I go home with you?" Jessica heard Isabelle plead.
Driven To Trust
Jessica's daughter, Isabelle, has Williams syndrome, a genetic disorder with a number of symptoms. Children with Williams are often physically small and frequently have developmental delays. But also, kids and adults with Williams love people, and they are literally pathologically trusting. They have no social fear. Researchers theorize that this is probably because of a problem in their limbic system, the part of the brain that regulates emotion. There appears to be a disregulation in one of the chemicals (oxytocin) that signals when to trust and when to distrust.
This means that it is essentially biologically impossible for kids like Isabelle to distrust. (NPR is not using full names in this story for privacy and safety reasons.)
"They don't have that kind of evolutionary thing that other kids have, that little twinge of anxiety like, 'Who is this person? What should I do here?' " Jessica explains. "They just don't have it. She just doesn't have that ... early-warning system."
For Jessica, there are good and bad things about parenting a child with this kind of personality.
For instance, when Isabelle was younger, she was chronically happy. She smiled at anything. She loved everyone: family, friends, strangers. She reached for them all, and, in return, everyone loved her. Strangers would stop Jessica to tell about how adorably loving Isabelle was.
In those days, Jessica says, she and her family were more or less tolerant of Isabelle's trusting and loving nature. "We would try to restrain her, but it was somewhat half-heartedly, because we didn't want to embarrass her by calling her on the carpet about how open she was," Jessica says.
Fear keeps you alive!
111 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Ooohrah that sucks!
ok, you'll meet the Germans another time then.

Oh, lol. Bad thng is, I'm at work and there's no audio on this PC.
I'm joking; the video contains some critics against 'Amerika'.

I like the Scorpions. I don't know any Germans. Not since I lived next door to an old German couple when I was a kid.
I like all people, at first.
so you like Germans;
very funny...and so appropriate! lol
The loudness here is a bit contrary to my nature.
Lol, welcome to...
The term Undeviating Justice refers to the concepts encoded on Key 11:Justice.
Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Key is the center of the Tarot pack. It stands for Equilibrium, Balance, etc., symbolized by the title and the scales. These also symbolize the Hindu doctrine of Karma, which literally means Action or Work. It manifests itself in the form of a Law of Undeviating Justice. This doctrine is expressed in the Judaeo-Christian dictum, "As a man soweth, so shall he also reap." In physics it is stated that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. It is the entire appearance of cause-effect.
The two curtains, suggesting duality, represent balance by their symmetrical arrangement. The Throne repeats the pillar and veil symbolism of Key 2. The circle and square on the front of the crown refer to the movement of Spirit within material forms. The sword represents discrimination, which is closely allied to the idea of justice.
Key 11 is the agency through which all of the forces represented by Keys 1 to 10 are transferred to the manifesting powers represented by Keys 12 to 21. This cryptic statement deserves a great deal of thought upon your part. You will be well rewarded for your effort.

Very simply, everything operates in perfect time and perfect order. It is an illusion that we control any of it. We can believe we are victims of "good and bad" or we can believe that "storms pass" and they happened for a purpose greater then our simply understanding. Surrendering to the experience of this life is less painful or even "painless" to someone who lives in Mastery if we choose to remove judgement but not discernment/discrimiation. Those are two very differnt concepts.
didn't mean to ask you that question in private (wrong field!)
so you can post the answer on the board; maybe it will be interesting to others too.
IMO, The Christian Church is one of many Man-based concepts which are rooted in Fear, specifically Fear of Being Wrong. The fear of being wrong comes from the fight or flight mechanism that keeps us as physical beings "surviving." It is a necessary physical mechanism to propel our species to where ever it is going evolutionarily. (I have my own ideas about this)
Spirit-based concepts are free of this fear and exist under an abundance principle. The universe is an infinite resource/supply. Scarcity in principle leads to scarcity in practice. Control and conformity are scares principles.
It will take many more generations to domestic mankind's primal side so that it can collectively exist in abundance. We have come a long way and we, as observers, need to acknowledge that.
The Fundamentalist Mindset applies to everything. If you think carrots are the ONLY good vegetable, then you are a Carrot Fundamentalist. It is simply an immature mindset and over time the Collective will mature. Remember, we are still "children of God." We are not born with this connotation of "children", we are conditioned this way. We are learning do rise above our physical limitations. This takes time. There are always Teachers provided in each generation to guide those who wish to travel a different more abundant path. It is our free will to choose out of a lower state and into a higher one. IMO eventually, we will all be able to do that. Therefore, those of us who are awakening owe it to the group effort to be "A center of expression for the Primal Will to Good."
This is the second principle from my studies and is on what we call The Pattern on The Trestleboard. I will repost it as I use it to move me toward my most abundant expression:
http://www.botaineurope.org/
This is the True about the Self
0. All the Power that ever was or will be is here now.
1. I am a center of expression for the Primal Will to Good which eternally creates and sustains the Universe.
2. Through me its unfailing Wisdom takes form in thought and word.
3. Filled with understanding of its perfect law, I am guided, moment by moment, along the path of liberation.
4. From the exhaustless riches of its Limitless Substance, I draw all things needful, both spiritual and material.
5. I recognize the manifestation of the Undeviating Justice in all the circumstances of my life.
6. In all things great and small, I see the Beauty of the Divine Expression.
7. Living from that Will, supported by its unfailing wisdom and understanding, mine is the victorious life.
8. I look forward with confidence to the perfect realization of the Eternal Splendor of the Limitless Light.
9. In thought and word and deed, I rest my life, from day to day, upon the sure foundation of Eternal Being.
10. The Kingdom of Spirit is embodied in my flesh.
Good insight. Your perception leads to the question of why has the Christian Church morphed into such a monstrosity.
Lol join the club!;)~
At the risk of being declared a heretic on this board, I humbly post this as a beginning or an ending, whatever the case maybe.
Well said, EG. We have our own scribes and pharacies here, lol.
I've been called here a gnostic, an agnostic and a heretic.
LOL!
I asked you this question because it answers thé question "Jesus man or God" to those who believe;
on a personal level I hear more or less what I expected to hear. thx.
a nice and elaborated reply.
indeed, this is not alpha nor omega.
Phew, that is a loaded question, worthy of many days of discussion. Here is a brief synopsis and perhaps a starting point as to MY PERCEPTION and not anyone else’s. This is the analogy that I work from on a daily basis. You, most likely, will not find it anywhere else.
As someone rooted in Gnosis, I believe the Jesus was a Master Student that became a Master Teacher. Out of all of that, he released his need to be here for himself and allowed himself to be martyred as a living example for the greater good of man (as other teachers have done). I believe there is a fundamental language barrier in most organized "religion" and I would call it a Fundamentalist Mindset...a place where being right is a justification for warring rather then loving. In the space where "I am right and you are wrong" there is finiteness, ending, chaos and hatred. I, in no way, believe that was his message. In fact, I believe that it was his basis to initiate change on a mass scale. His info was for empowerment of the many, but in reality only a few were able to grasp it. He brought Mysticism into light for the Jewish society and beyond. I believe that mystical practices were present since the beginning of time and his mission was to take it out of secret societies and make it available to all. I believe that he knew this would take time and not happen overnight.
In considering just the physical plane for a moment, I, further, believe that having roots as a Jewish family raised in mystical Egyptian culture provided him a basis in his expression. He became a seeker and opened himself as a clear channel, including Eastern Thought. He was the quantum physicist of his time. I suppose the best way to couch what I believe would be around his discussion with the Sanhedrin. Since his point of reference would be in Judaism, I believe that he was born a genius and understood that there was an evolution of man in a physical way. Nearly all society had a religious ruling center that was in charge of keeping society from killing each other off. The primal fight or flight urge can be very destructive and there were those who exhibited "other worldly" attributes. Religious centers allowed for the safer expression of this other worldly "psychic"/"spiritual gifts" knowledge which we now call many things. The individuals who exhibited untrained and undisciplined expressions were called heretics and demon possessed. Today, we call it psychosis. This is broad generality and is a completely separate topic of discussion.
In Jewish society, they had the tribe of Levi. This was the trained and disciplined order that could access this “knowing”/information through ritual. I believe that Jesus' discussion and perceived argument with the Sanhedrin was, in so many words, about the fact that the human brain and society was capable of internalizing and being responsible for their own individual growth and enlightened experience. This notion would disrupt the order of things and was rejected. Jesus believed it so deeply that his Inner Guide, what is now referred to as the Christos, set upon a path of creating a living example complete with a group of "characters" to provide a story for the non-ruling party to go by. He took the "secret" from the few and gave it to the many.
At the risk of being declared a heretic on this board, I humbly post this as a beginning or an ending, whatever the case maybe.
Don't even have an account dut it seems like everybody under 30 does!
Not a huge fan of the whole lay your life out on a website feel to FaceBook. I use it for stocks, pretty much about it. You?
careful, his words are not all correctly passed on...
of course not; "they" want us to believe that it all came direct from God which is total BS of course.
he studied himself or had been taught - there's no other way.
a tekton was not poor at the times, imo.
I don't believe he had secret knowledge....that's not historical.
sure, he had the wisdom of the divine (spiritual wisdom)
my question remains the same "where did he get this"?
divine wisdom was to be found at the time of his life.
was he initiated by someone into that wisdom? (trismegistus/gnostic wisdom)
had he been a pupil of a secret movement or person with mystic knowledge?
it's clear that his wisdom was not new for the time...
Did Jesus's teachings about wealth imply a personal background of poverty?
Mmmmaybe:
"Seek his treasure that is unfailing, that is enduring, where no moth comes to eat and no worm destroys."
"A slave cannot serve two masters, otherwise that slave will honor the one and offend the other."
"Do not fret, from morning to evening and from evening to morning, about what you are going to wear-- you're much better than the lilies, which neither card nor spin."
"Congratulations to the poor, for to you belongs Heaven's kingdom."
"Buyers and merchants will not enter the places of my Father."
"Congratulations to those who go hungry, so the stomach of the one in want may be filled."
"If you have money, don't lend it at interest-- rather, give it to someone from whom you won't get it back."
"Foxes have their dens and birds have their nests, but human beings have no place to lay down and rest."
"Whoever has something in hand will be given more, and whoever has nothing will be deprived of even the little they have."
Crossan argues that Antipas's building projects in Sepphoris and Tiberias must have drained and even displaced Galilean peasants, but I don't think the historical record supports this. [background] [anti]
So are you saying Jesus had divine wisdom?
Lol that's kinda catchy!
It's not shameful it's an insight to his wisdom and sayings!
I did not say that!
probably I still support the statistics (if you are baptized you could be considered a Christian in the books)
I do not consider myself to be a Christian.
call me a freelancer.
