Pangaea, Pangæa, or Pangea ( /pæn'd?i??/ pan-JEE-?;[1]) was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras, forming about 300 million years ago[2] and beginning to rift around 200 million years ago, before the component continents were separated into their current configurations.[3] The single global ocean which surrounded Pangaea is accordingly named Panthalassa.

Never knew this but the Stones song "Lady Jane" is based on the story of Henry 8th, Ann Bolin and Jane Seymour. The first verse are the words the king used with Lady Jane.....according to the story anyway. Don't know who Marie is yet.
I'm watching the Tudors.
I live in Taguig, Philippines. From my top floor balcony you can actually see where the US Cemetary is. Need to go there and take pics sometime as my father told me via skype he pulled bs duty there for a couple weeks one time.
He's 56 and 1/2 years older than I am. Have half brothers and a half sister. He's 26 1/2 years older than my biological mother. He's a character.
One of the Japanese Colonels or maybe a General pulled 50,000 K troops into Manilla and made the Army root them out....blood bath!
Wow he is old school! The Army actually did more landings than the Marines! Shermann's dad caught in the Pacific Theater too! The PI was a slobber knocker.... Your Dad is a Stud!
Just curious what about WWII? I'm too young, but my father who is 91 and still alive back stateside served in the Army in the Philippines, New Guinea, and Hawaii. Not many WWII vets still around.
But is it 6K yrs old. I know you don't think so,.......... but I'd like to hear if there are any thoughts on it from the more ardent crowd......beside, "I go with the bible".
Pangea is an accepted fact!
Question....do Xtians believe that not only is the Earth 6K yrs old but.....that all the land was one continent at the time?

Funny my family was talking about that....after the family fight.....lol.......College Degrees are going to be rare...I grew up lower middle class 2 of the 3 kids got degrees ....2 of the 3 have military service. Bottom line ...10 years from now....no lower middle class in college!
Most people don't even have one. Averages of statistics say less and less people are graduating high school. Although the numbers are skewed because the population increases and the U.S gains more liability everyday.
I knew it you had a Business degree! Me I got a Bullshit Ag-Ed Degree my sister has a MBA...... I can spot a Business Degree a mile away! Lol...3 ...I barely got 1!
I have three. BS - Accounting BS - Administration MBS - Finance.
How about you?
Nice....so like I know you trade ....but like do you have a college degree!
Pretty much but not quite to the side of atheist. So agnostic would be correct.
One can not know things unknown till they are known. Faith is something, IMO, that people believe in for self preservation. I have seen people go mad with faith and seen people run mad without faith, a mixture of both is essential for the mind to stay sane.
Lol Agnostic.....me too I am a Methodist!
Not really, you? I believe in a higher being or existence. I believe everything is recycled.
So like...are you religious?
Welcome! Your thoughts about anything!
You're Welcome. You nailed it!!!
Here we go
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Thanks for posting!
I guess if he made them earn it somehow that could be a little more just?
A flashbulb memory is a highly detailed, exceptionally vivid 'snapshot' of the moment and circumstances in which a piece of surprising and consequential (or emotionally arousing) news was heard.[1] Flashbulb memory is an appropriate name for the phenomenon in that it suggests surprise, an indiscriminate illumination, and brevity. The name is inappropriate as an actual photograph is indiscriminate and preserves everything within its scope. Flashbulb memories, in actuality, are only somewhat indiscriminate and are far from complete.[1] Evidence has shown that although people are highly confident in their memories, the details of the memories can be forgotten.[2]
Flashbulb memories are one type of autobiographical memory. Some researchers believe that there is reason to distinguish flashbulb memories from other types of autobiographical memory because they rely on elements of personal importance, consequentiality, emotion, and surprise.[1][3][4] Others believe that ordinary memories can also be accurate and long lasting if they are highly distinctive, personally significant,[5][6] or repeatedly rehearsed.[7]
Flashbulb memories have six characteristic features: place, ongoing activity, informant, own affect, other affect, and aftermath.[1] Arguably, the principal determinants of a flashbulb memory are a high level of surprise, a high level of consequentiality, and perhaps emotional arousal.
Some things you don't forget.
