It was never anything but a board for those who wished to express themselves in a way that was tossed on the ERHE board. And, since there has been nothing to post about, there hasn't been any overflow. You wanted to make it a board about something besides disgruntled posters, but since that was the make-up of the posters, there were none left to post. Good try, but when there is nothing to post about all that's left is the bickering (and I don't miss that, at all LOL)
Now that news is starting to trickle in, maybe some will trickle back here.
OT: At one point it was supposed to be my fault that this board didn't work, but now that I am no longer moderating it is clear that it is the paucity of ideas from contributors that is the problem. It has been ruined by so many empty and meaningless posts about other boards and posters, driving those who post real content elsewhere.

Yawn. I rest my case.
"Little tid bit of news and the basher's are out in full force like a pack of wild hyena's...lol."
You could also say, little tid bit of news and the pumpers and traders are back, hard at it with their what if campaigns to pump it higher.
Both are true but you only pick on the bashers. Why is that? There are always to sides to it.

Excellent news today boys and girls! - IMO this was a major hurdle for the eventual advancement to commercial production. AKPO is the key to that and now Total just moved into the hood. Are we in the way or are we to join in on the party??

NO PERHAPS ABOUT IT!
I FOUND THIS TO BE VERY INTERESTING.. I WONDER WHY IT WAS NEVER BROUGHT UP.
What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?
Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around.
I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.
And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican Nationals! The program was called 'Operation #######'. It was done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.
It took 2 Years, but they deported them!
Now....if they could deport the illegal's back then - they could sure do it today..lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation

Thanks for your service LC. I, for one, and maybe the only one, prefer a board to be on topic and remain that way. If I wanted to read about politics or sports or another board's posts, I would go to the appropriate board.
I wish all boards were run with the KEEP IT ON TOPIC approach.
Best of luck to you.......
OK, I have resigned so you can turn this board back into a useless cesspool of personal attacks and innuendo that does nobody any good.
LC
Please drop the disingenuousness.
If you think someone is telling a lie, you know very well you are more than welcome to debunk it using facts. But don't indulge in personal attacks, which as you know are expressly forbidden by the Investors Hub TOS.
It is the people who engage in personal attacks and name-calling even though they KNOW it will get their posts removed that shut down discussion. Do you blame the cops when you get pulled over for speeding?
LC
Double ditto. I'll see everyone at the finish line. EOM
The most relevant and revealing post was yours. You used your "power" as moderator to tell a poster that you believe LIES should stand on this board. It has been dead since and I doubt that changes.
You killed it.
Looks like your 15 posts perday are way to many.
This board only gets about 5 posts per day. All because of what "you" allow to be posted. Sorry that is just the way it is. Thank you.
There is a very "interesting" discussion going on over on the other board. The "interest" here is diminishing, but hopefully more posters will have interest in this board like Total has interest in the JDZ. Wait a minute, Total has no interest in the JDZ according to the email Umbra received. Very interesting!
I usually only use my 15 posts per day to post important stuff, but I guess I will waste one by responding.
Why didn't you respond to the ERHE PR itself, i.e. say something relevant?
There are so many relevant and important topics that could be discussed on this board. I remain at a loss why so many seem only to be interested in making posts about other posters and boards, which are not relevant and do no one any good. It is pointless to argue about why someone made such and such a post, as there is no no way of knowing people's motives so talking about them is just empty posturing that ignites pointless feuds.
So I issue a challenge to you and to everyone else -- post about ERHE, or about the people who work there, or about their properties or JV partners, or about the JDZ, or about STP, or about Nigeria, or about any of the other companies that are involved in the area.
Do you really think silly little interpersonal squabbles more suited to schoolboys are more important and relevant?
BTW, it is not about facts vs. opinions. Opinions are of course fine, as long as they are about something relevant and not about other posters. What is so difficult to comprehend about that?!?
LC
Just the facts, only the facts, please. Thanks LoneClone, you did it. You posted the only possible post that would not be deleted.
Ps: I am sure this one will be deleted as well. Just the facts.
Chief Executive Officer Updates ERHC Energy Inc. Shareholders
Wednesday May 26, 9:19 am ET
http://ca.us.biz.yahoo.com/iw/100526/0624856.html?.v=1
HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - 05/26/10) - ERHC Energy Inc. (OTC.BB:ERHE - News), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in the highly prospective Gulf of Guinea off the coast of West Africa, today issued the following update on Company activities from Peter Ntephe, chief executive officer.
To ERHC Shareholders:
I am happy to update the ERHC Energy family on the company's recent progress.
Annual Shareholders' Meeting
I want to express our sincere thanks to the ERHC Energy shareholders who devoted the time and, in some cases, incurred considerable travel expenses, to participate in the Annual Shareholders' Meeting in April. Thanks also to all those who voted. Shareholders elected the slate of five directors and ratified MaloneBailey LLP as the Company's independent accountants for the 2010 fiscal year.
We are especially pleased to welcome new directors Les Blair and Friday Oviawe to the ERHC Board of Directors. Mr. Blair was previously with Addax Petroleum and has more than 35 years of upstream oil and gas industry experience. For the past 12 years, he helped to guide Addax Petroleum's activities in West Africa and Asia. He played a key role in Addax's entry into the JDZ, including its entering into Participation Agreements with ERHC. Mr. Oviawe is a Certified Public Accountant who has the financial expertise needed to chair ERHC's audit committee. We very much appreciate the service of these new directors and the contributions they will make to ERHC's future success.
Following the business of the annual meeting, management presented an update on the Company's initiatives, many of which we will touch upon in this update. That management presentation is posted on the Company website (www.erhc.com/en/art/136) and I encourage everyone who is interested in ERHC to review the slides and the accompanying speaking points.
Afterward, we opened the floor for a question and answer session which lasted more than two hours to ensure that all questions were asked and answered. The personal interaction at the Annual Shareholders' Meeting means that questions can be answered in greater detail than via conference calls or other shareholder interactions. In the future, we hope that more of our shareholders will make an effort to attend.
Exclusive Economic Zone
As we announced earlier this year, the National Petroleum Agency of São Tomé & Príncipe (ANP-STP) awarded ERHC 100 percent working interests in Blocks 4 and 11 of the São Tomé & Príncipe Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). In accordance with the preferential rights by which ERHC became entitled to the Blocks, there are no signature-bonus obligations on ERHC's interests in Blocks 4 and 11 of the EEZ.
ERHC intends to approach the EEZ Blocks in a similar fashion to Blocks 2, 3 and 4 of the Joint Development Zone. We will seek agreements with potential operators and work with the operating partners to negotiate Production Sharing Contracts.
We are pleased to report that the interest shown in ERHC's EEZ blocks by potential farm-in partners has been encouraging. While discussions are ongoing, we are continuing to seek interest from other potential partners.
In recent months, ERHC's management team and advisors have made several visits to São Tomé & Príncipe and we are planning additional visits with ANP-STP to continue advancing the EEZ. In April, ANP-STP brought its EEZ licensing round roadshow to Houston, which proved to be a terrific opportunity for ERHC to continue strengthening relations with the organization's leadership. Representatives of ERHC attended the session and were energized by the level of interest expressed by major oil and gas companies.
Joint Development Zone
The analysis of information gathered during the 5-well drilling campaign in JDZ Blocks 2, 3 and 4 is continuing. With the authorization of the operators, ERHC has released preliminary findings that biogenic methane gas was discovered across all three Blocks.
There seems to have been a little confusion about these preliminary findings and I want to be clear that ERHC management is as excited about what we have accomplished as we were several months ago. It is not unusual for initial oil and gas exploration in a previously unexplored area to have surprising findings that prompt questions about existing models. The challenge is to use those findings to guide future drilling decisions and maximize the likelihood of success.
That said, I must continue to caution that offshore exploration, especially in deepwater, is a long and involving process. The Joint Development Authority has granted the operators of all three Blocks a 6-month extension to Exploration Phase I. That means we and our partners have until mid-September to determine how to proceed. Specifically, the operators are focusing on the following five tasks:
1. Further examine the controlling elements in the hydrocarbon accumulation based on seismic data and drilled well data;
2. Re-evaluate geologic conditions for petroleum accumulation;
3. Estimate resources of undrilled traps and evaluate drillable trap(s);
4. Analyze economic feasibility of developing the oil/gas reservoir; and
5. Propose the way forward.
As we have seen in the Gulf of Mexico, deepwater exploration is extremely challenging. Often, the achievements are taken for granted when things run efficiently. The operators of ERHC's JDZ Blocks, Addax Petroleum and Sinopec Corp., have done a great job, completing our deep offshore wells safely and coming in on time and on budget.
We also want to express our gratitude to the JDA, which has given all parties involved in our JDZ Blocks support and cooperation.
Listing on the AIM Market
ERHC's plans to list on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange are progressing as expected. The Company's management and advisers are in the advanced stages of working out the most expeditious and cost-effective structure for listing without diminishing shareholder value. The option of an Exchange Offer that was described at the Annual Shareholders' Meeting is being compared with alternatives in order to reach agreement by mid-June on the approach that best suits the Company's objectives.
An AIM listing has several benefits, including the potential involvement of institutional investors, the market's familiarity with oil and gas companies focused on Africa and the fact that the AIM is a respected exchange that will enable the Company to access a new pool of capital to fund acquisitions. We are appraising several exciting new opportunities that are expected to diversify ERHC's portfolio of oil and gas assets, give the Company bookable proven reserves and bring ERHC closer to revenue generation. An AIM Listing is necessary to give us access to the resources that we shall need to compete on these opportunities.
Finally, it is important to caution again about rumors concerning ERHC Energy and the Company's various initiatives. We have heard reports from inauthentic sources that are apparently designed to contradict some of the information released by the Company. These reports are inaccurate and seem to be intended to cause doubt and suspicion. Please consider the source of any information you receive about the Company and rely on the Company to provide accurate information. If you have questions, please ask the Company directly through investor relations representative, Dan Keeney (214.432.7556 or dan@dpkpr.com).
I thank you all for your continued interest in ERHC and your trust.
Sincerely,
Peter Ntephe
Chief Operating Officer

OT: Do it somewhere else if it is so important to you. Efforts at 'exposing' people on line inevitably degenerate into useless pissing matches because, being on line, you can never prove anything. It's all just pointless guesswork and posturing which does no one any good and destroys the board in the process.
LC
Shouldn't liars be exposed?
To expose liars, you should talk about liars and liars are people.
How does talking about other investors (or boards) tell us anything about the JDZ and the companies that operate in it? Of course you can make general comments about how the stock is behaving, but not abou individuals who are not involved directly in companies or governments that operate there.
If posts like that were allowed, this board would quickly degenerate into being like the boards on sites like Raging Bull and Yahoo, i.e. become completely useless as a source of information.
Within the actual topic of this board there is sometimes plenty to talk about and sometimes nothing, depending on how events unfold.
So yes, go ahead and talk all you want about the JDZ and the companies that operate there. Just don't veer into topics like other posters and their motives (which I remind you are impossible to ascertain).
LC
LoneClone, investors are PEOPLE!
You have to talk about people to talk about JDZ.
LC,

Hunter, all things considered, I have to lean towards Krom's viewpoint. ERHC brought on 3 new BODs of high quality. Why would anyone join a sinking ship? If I knew the company was not going to last, I would cut OTHER expenses, like unneeded employees to keep getting MY salary as long as possible. No reduction in staff and 3 new BOD members, indicates to me that positive things are coming. Going to oil presentations is also another good indication of the future being bright as in why waste that money if I could keep my salary going longer without having the trade shows. What is it that ERHC is doing that makes you think things are going badly?
Going to be a very big up day in the market today, but I think it won't last to long.
Oh, its very possible. EOM
Stick to the subject of this board please -- 'JDZ Nigeria-Sao Tome e Principe'. The motives of other posters are not only impossible to know but, more importantly, irrelevant to that subject.

The JDZ lies approximately 200 km. offshore Nigeria and is adjacent to areas offshore Nigeria where several large petroleum discoveries have been made. The JDZ was established in 2001 following ratification of a formal bilateral treaty between Nigeria and Sao Tome and Principe. The JDZ is administered by the Joint Development Authority.
This Board will be specifically limited to oil/gas companies that operate in the JDZ, Nigeria, and Sao Tome e Principe. Obo-1 has recently been drilled by Chevron with a 51 percent stake, along with partner ExxonMobil with a 40 percent equity holding, and Dangote Energy Equity Resources holding the remaining balance. ERHC Energy, Inc. has Production Sharing Contracts in JDZ Blocks, 2, 3, and 4. Some other companies include: Afren, Addax Petroleum, A & Hartman, Centurion Energy, Equator, Foby Engineering, Hercules, Hyperdynamics Corp., MoMo Petroleum, ONGC Videsh Ltd., Pioneer, SNP -- China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., and Oriental Energy. It is very likely the list will grow!
