Someone is selling through them.
hdsn and nite working together on the Bid and Ask?
This pretty much shows whats going on and speaks volumes..
That's the way many read it, buyback of 1B and at the same time reduce AS another 1B.....still alot of shares out there, but a start.....
Thank you....Good analysis and insight....
how 'bout a term i use, CEO shorting: You dilute at a higher price for capital expenditure, blah blah...then, with your excess cash you buy back at the rock bottom price......
so you sell 200M at 0008, raise 160,000 then buy back 200M at 0001 for 20,000......
thanks as always...
Rook
What I think is good about the pr is the wording that states a buyback of one billion shares. It doesn't say "up to" - which is a tricky way of making it look like they are buying a certain amount but they get by it because they say "up to". It also states that the shares will be retired:
Intelective's Board of Directors approved the Buyback of 1 Billion Shares of its
Common Stock. Upon completion of the Buyback the shares will be retired/returned
to the Transfer Agent, and the Authorized Shares will then be reduced equally
with the Secretary of State. The company has started buying back the shares
already and will announce each time a block of the purchased shares are retired.
Here's my thoughts...
This week, company announces a buyback of a Billion shares....Cool. So far 500M shares have seem to have been bought back as they have been at the bid. So here is the question..... How do you know they bought back 500m shares? Are these shares being bought right out of the public float on in the open market and retired? If so, then I would follow the public float to see if there is a reduction.
Lets look at the volume. Say 500m traded since the announcement. Im sure many investors who bought the "buy back" news were buying stock. Also, I know a market maker and he said that sometimes they need to go to other market makers to get shares to sell to their customers. Those show up on the time and sales and can be printed 2 or 3 times until the actual sale is made so when you see 500m, 100 million or more could be MM transactions. Its hard to figure that out and even harder to know if the company is actually buying the stock in the open market and retiring it unless you keep track of the float through the transfer agent.
Who could or would be willing to sell at 0001 when no one could have bought at that price...... All these penny stocks have one form or another of financing through the use of shares so I would assume the selling is those people and lets not forget the promoters.
Bottom line is companies that are doing very well like some blue chips that have a load of cash buy back stock. These pennies have been using the buy back PR's to sell stock or help the lenders who were paid in stock sell the stock. One has to question themselves as to why a company with no money or profits would buy back stock that they need to issue for cash? Its silly when you think about it. A company trying to grow and make a profit doesn't NOT take what working capital it has to buy back stock.
Just my opinion
Yup....tuesday seemed to be normal retail buying 0002 and 0003...then a flood of shares at 0001.....same yesterday, lighter volume than Tuesday at 0002, then 300MILLION at 0001.
So at least it seems to verify the buyback......and it does add up to 500Mililon this week....
just wondering whom they could be buying back from unless it is inventory...
Thanks for your time as always....
Rook
you would think that trades would raise their bid and ask to a higher level...
Well if it is a diluted pig, you know how hard it is to move it even with loads of buying. It upticked shortly on Tuesday didn't it with that buyback news? I was watching it at the open.
Well, as a bag holder,I've watched this dwindle weekly....if you look at the chart, you'll some volume days where it was real high, no doubt dilution days, but the share price was 0005, 0004, 0003 .....but until this week, I've never seen trades go thru at 0001. On occasion, you see a 5.00 trade at 0001, but not like this weeks volume......
i know they can only buy back on the bid, you would think that trades would raise their bid and ask to a higher level...
thanks.
All retail buying previously has been at a higher price
How do u know that? R u sure there wasn't buys on the bid that appeared as sells in the past? I don't follow it so I don't know - maybe mm inventory?
Maybe that's part I'm not getting....the majority of the volume this week as been at the bid....I know they can only buy back at the bid...BUT that means someone has to sell them stock at the bid at 0001. All retail buying previously has been at a higher price, so that means a seller, like me, has decided to move on and sell at 0001, right? or am i missing something
R u sure they are sells and it isn't the company buying back shares on the bid?
Oh no....here it is:
ITLV....been diluted this year, un gagged t/a and a fresh update with Pink Sheets....
On dilution days the volume has been heavy but lots of buying...the chart reflects it...
Last week; literally one trade at 0002......that's it...
This week, company announces a buyback of a Billion shares....Cool. So far 500M shares have seem to have been bought back as they have been at the bid. So here is the question.....
Who could or would be willing to sell at 0001 when no one could have bought at that price....Suddenly, in the wake of buyback news people decided they want to sell at a loss and move on....it seem illogical to me, but it does seem to verify the buyback is real...
Your thoughts and opinion would be appreciated....
Rook
As long as you are not asking whether or not we like a stock or not.
Jimmy/Cintrix...got time for a rook question? more of an opinion question???
What the ????
Was this board in my favorites yesterday? I swear being a Lurker can get mighty confusing at times....LOL!!!
Best Wishes, Scov.
Your welcome
A schedule 13G is required to be filed if Knight owns more than 5% in a publicly-traded stock .
Schedule 13G is shorter and requires less information from the filing party. Ownership of over 5% in a publicly-traded stock is considered to be significant ownership, and therefore must be reported to the public.
Hey Jimmy, Do you know if it common for Knight Securities to file Schedule 13Gs concerning certain stocks? In your opinion does it happen often and is there a down side to this?
Thanks
Thanks and your welcome! ;)
Irish: Great Job on all your hard work & DD links!:) After 3 yrs of ups' & downs' in the penny stock arena, this morning, I ran across your board by accident:)/////////Its good to know there's this kind of info....to help cover one's back.............Many thanks!/HLSH
Yeah, that sounds familiar. Long time ago.
Auxer group. (now viva airlines) AXGI... yeah, amazing how much BS that Tom guy fed us, can't remember his last name.. still keep in touch with a lot of the traders from that play though..
Well consider youself boardmarked. I will try not to stalk.
rotf what was the airline stock where u did all that dd for years ago? You remember that one? I think that is where I first met you and I think it was on RB too.
I have researched a couple, or ten thousand over the past 10 years, lol.
That pretty much takes care of that. I will check on changing the shares over if there is no cost. That was quick DD. I guess you have been trading for a while to say the least. Thanks again.
jagram
yeah, did a symbol lookup on the name, and nothing... One could contact the "company" or registered agent though
The shares are not trading and are believed to have no value.
Surprise, surprise! lol
I always start with a company's SOS filings if I can find them.

You are very probably correct. But.. you never know with pinkies.
My guess is that they are probably worthless and not worth the trouble to research. But who knows! lol
They were given. Indeed a broker record would be nice, but alas none exist. The certificate was given as a part of a trading concept plan that I never followed through on in the '80s.
Did u buy the shares or where they given to you? If you bought them you should be able to trace them via a broker for cost basis reasons.
I honestly have no clue. I have only been trading a bit over a year and I just remembered that I had it somewhere. Until I looked at it this morning I had no idea how many shares there were or the name. I figured chances were good that it might have business with the Upper Corolado River or Hoover Dam or Boulder Dam.
You don't recall the ticker it traded under, do you? 1987 will be a tough one to trace since internet trading didn't really come to be until around 1990.
I found an old (1987) stock certificate of a pink sheet company that I was given, but I can't seem to find any info on the company, Hydro Power Development, Inc. Colorado, which probably has changed names, merged, or gone out of business. The trading agent is Mountain States Stock Transfer Agents, Inc does not seem to exist anymore. I do have the cusip number but do not seem to be able to find out how to look up old numbers, or even if it would help. If I knew the old trading symbol I might find it that way, but tried all the obvious with no results. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

okay.....thank you. i read the rule, a million bucks for a penny stock is a ton of shares....wowee...still searching for the filing....
thanks.
No, when a symbol changes, all the filings should appear under the new symbol.
thanks...i check p.s. for rvgd, maybe i have to use their old symbol.....it seems massive and sure is good to know before you buy.
504: http://www.sec.gov/answers/rule504.htm
REGDEX: paper filings - you can't see what they consist of but you can see when they were filed at pinksheets.com. I think you can get a copy of them for a fee.
Greetings help board(IRISH/cintrix)....can you explain REGDEX filings, 504 offerings, and how one discovers this??? the topic is apparently relevant on the RVGD board about a million dollar offering via stock shares (that seems to be alot shares at a penny a piece)....
personally, i'm tired of buying diluted stocks and almost jumped in on this.....
Thanks, as always.

"All stocks are shit. All OTCB stocks are worse then shit. All pink stocks are lower then whale shit. The sooner you realize this - the sooner you will be able to trade properly!! Got a losing position? That stock was a piece of shit. Dump it. Got a winning position? Amazing such a piece of shit could run, Sell it! The market is all about buying and selling. If you aren't selling you aren't making money.
Going Long on a penny or a pinkie? Bad Choice - but you WILL learn the hard way! Most of the gurus on these message boards don't really have a pot to piss in! Just a lot of membermarks and perhaps a single wide! GOT FRONTLOADED?"

Thats cool, it takes time. IMO you never stop learning, Im always tweaking my game, readjusting and still make dumb mistakes, then again, hindsight is 20/20
