Irish: the advfn streamer for 'trades' has lost the help tab, how can we get it back?

Selling stock at the bid
what exactly does 'wack the bid' mean?
thnx IRISH, a few months back i 'got' some info that this was going to explode, it did go up about 1,000% but they were talking $1-$2 land from .00014. but like i said if i go from 43k shares to 4k shares, even at $1 it's 4grand, not bad but nothing like 43grand
OK, I guess their taking their sweet time to make this vote public.. Dunno much about the company but reverse splits don't work well with these penny stocks from my experience. I personally would not go through one.
i received an email from etrade, i was able to proxy vote
How did you find out they voted on doing it? Usually they PR/file it after the vote, I don't see anything..
i have about 43k shares, if it splits i'll have more like 4k...even if it the price eventually goes way up, i'll be screwed right?
no IRISH I cant access it b/c the vote date has passed...so basically i should sell before the spilt b/c even if the price goes through the roof i most likely wont make any $?
They filed the Pre14 so I would look for the Def14 and then keep your eyes out here for when we post it the day before the split:

Do you have a link to this vote?
Reverse Split, there was a vote on the 22nd for WLSI for a 30-1 split...how long do these things usually take to go through?
Yup, 911 trade = a few pennies worth of stock bought plus commission, that's about it lol
that's true It was a post from a while ago just looking to see if any one have seen it... LOL
Yes, so I hear.
unlike you, she doesn't have to be around me, near me or even on the same planet to bust my chops - you are an amateur compared to her..a rookie...a newbie if you like...
Because I get much joy busting your chops while your wife is not around to do it.
whaddya busting my chops for? I'm telling you that it was joked about on RIG's board. Believe it or not...who cares...I'm just telling you what he said...hrumph
Ok, and I just bought 2200 shares of goog at 482.6499 - yep that was me! rotf
it's been discussed on RIG's board where he is a regular & he's said that some oo the 911 trades are his...
cause other times when asked if the 911 trades are him, he has said yeah
Disclaiming? Then why do u think it is him?
to make the MMs scratch their heads like, who is messing up our signals? LMAO
if you search his profile for 911 only two entries come up - both time he is disclaiming it is him...lol
You could say the same thing - that it is you every time you see one. Why would anyone waste their money on commission to even try that?
I believe it to be true as he has posted several times it is him when those goofy trades who up
Is that true, or is he just claiming that?
a lot of times it's this dude - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/profile.asp?user=50367
Up to 1000? lol what other "conspiracies" could they have come up with from 500-1000?
It is?!?!?!?! I always thought it meant news was "on the way"!
the "911" signal is actually BONEDADDAY of iHub placing a trade for 911 shares...lol
I'm looking for the I seen a time ago it went up to 1000 Thanks
I agree! Very clever indeed! My favorite has always been the 911 "signal"...
It also says it at the bottom of the theory - read the last paragraph.
That theory has been flying around for years - very clever of whomever came up with it. I have never believed it.
IMO, those aren't real... just one of the myths w/in pennyland...
Edit: Whoops! Just noticed IRISH BULL said the same thing...

MARKET MAKER SIGNALS
Penny traders believe that Market Makers (MM) will "signal" moves in advance buy using small amounts of buys or sells as "signals". The "signals" are such a small amount of shares (worth no more than 5 or 10 dollars) that no trader would have paid a commission that costs more than the amount of shares bought. The "signals" are from one MM to another.
* 100 I need shares.
* 200 I need shares badly, but do not take the stock down.
* 300 Take the price down so I can load shares
* 400 Keep trading it sideways.
* 500 Gap the stock. This gap can be either up or down, depending on the direction of the 500 signal.
Remeber this is a theory put forth by a lot of penny stock traders. This is not a guaranteed trading method so please use common sense and purchase stocks only after researching your investment thoroughly.

YA I kinda new that but I can a cross of list and was just wondering if some one had it ...Thanks
I'm looking for the MM signals 100 trow 1000
I have Ameritrade, Etrade, and Choicetrade and of the three, I would highly suggest you use Choicetrade for what you are looking for. They don't restrict anything, their executions are pretty good and they give you almost instantaneous cancellations when you cancel an order. Etrade is the pits and I only use them because they have some free services like level II with Pro and Market Trader. I highly recommend that you avoid Etrade like the plague. lol
Your welcome, good luck!
Thanx IB, think that's the direction I'll go. Looking into Ameritrade to use as a secondary broker right now. Not sure if I would have been real comfortable with a Zecco or Prodigy etc. Best of luck with your trades.
Etrade and Ameritrade are very good.. All 3 brokers restrict certain stock. Many times different ones for different reasons, that's why I have several accounts. If your main account restricts a stock, you can try your secondary account and third if you have 3.
I'm looking for suggestions for a new brokerage for trading BB and Pink stocks. I currently use Scottrade and am happy with costs but not with the restrictions they sometimes place on trades. Anyone know of a brokerage which doesn't restrict and is reasonably priced? TIA
Three letter ticker on the NASDAQ:
We all know that a way to differentiate the two major exchanges were by a first glance look at the number of letters in the ticker. Just in case you come across a three letter ticker that is trading on the nasdaq, this is why:
Last July, the SEC approved a measure under which companies that already had a three-letter symbol on another exchange could migrate to the Nasdaq and continue using it. The new rules specifically discussed three-letter tickers, not those with one or two -- so although you shouldn't expect too much change, you can also expect three-letter symbols to begin proliferating at the Nasdaq.
Oh thats no problem...
I have a similar set up as this one ;)
