I found an email from Schwab, sent back in April, about "Caveat Emptor" securities being restricted to liquidation only, starting May 25th. I did not see IPLY on the list.
Got that message on Etrade as well. Hence my previous selling. There is still time for an old fashioned pump and dump and I'm waiting for it.
I don't see any messages for me on Schwab on their website and I have not received any emails on any changes (I went paperless).
I got two messages to my private message box on TD Ameritrade. I ignored them, not thinking much of them, but after the third one I thought I should probably check. That's when it said the new SEC rules, which come into effect in September, preclude menu from Trading interplay on their site, starting in September, other than complete liquidation of my position
I trade through Schwab and haven't seen any notice. But, I believe TD Ameritrade is owned by Schwab. Maybe I just haven't gotten a notice, yet.
I received a note from tdameritrade that after September of this year they will no longer allow trading in interplay due to a new change with SEC guidelines. Is anyone else getting this message? Does anyone know where else I would be able to trade interplay and not run into this issue? Robinhood??

Nothing about IPLY.

The Bloomberg website's video stopped playing for me.

Put a pause on my selling. Waiting on some news and price movement. I track IPLY at $0.00 in my portfolio just in case it goes poof.
More consolidation in the video game industry.
Sony acquires Returnal developer Housemarque, hints Bluepoint is next

I wouldn't hold my breath, on the company/Herve putting out any information. It's been a decade since the last filed financial report. If, Herve was trying to make a comeback for the company, one of the first things out, should have been a letter to the shareholders, stating his intentions.
Herve/IPLY did make a lot of deals in the last year or so. There does appear to be value here. But, without more company specific information it's hard to tell if or when there will be a payoff for shareholders.
IPLY has a PR firm working for them, so they appear to be doing a better job putting out information, now, than in the last decade.
Oh wow! That would be so awesome to actually see some details of where they are at and the progress or lack thereof they are making
You might, also, try sending Herve an email, asking if he could publish un-audited financials on the company website.
Thanks, it looks like that can be done from the corp.delaware.gov site. I will try it out.
You could check with the states of California (where Interplay is located) or Delaware (where Interplay is incorporated) to see if you have on-line access to corporate tax filings. There is usually a fee to access records, if they are on-line.
Does anyone here know if it is possible to see Interplay's financial statements? I wonder if the company has to share that information with shareholders if they request it.
Thanks for the update. I didn't want to follow them to Discord.
On Discord, members of the Kingpin Reloaded teak commented about the game development. They said that they are still in active development. They said that their initial prediction of when the game would be ready was way off, as they didn't, at that time, realize the extent of the challenges they would have in updating the game... So, overall, seems to be good news. They said development continues and just is taking longer than expected ...
Not about IPLY. Just more consolidation among gaming companies.

New trailer (?) for the Intellivision Amico.
Earthworm Jim makes a brief appearance at the 2 minute mark (don't blink).
That's crazy how little investment it takes to triple the stock price ????
from $0.026 to $0.06 on 10,000 shares or $600
Wow! Huge surge at the end of trading today to bring it to $0.06
6 cents on the Ask, the selling must be over, for today.
edit
lol, at the last two trades of the day.
It isn't me.
I've been hoping we would get an ETA on the PC version of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance. Also D&D: Dark Alliance (from Torque) is due out next week (June 22), it might generate some interest in IPLY. It might be a better time to sell, although, any time the share price is up (or holds up), appears to be a good time to sell.
Is anyone on this board unloading shares today? Looks like a fairly large amount of selling today
That's also really cool...
All it takes is an email, for a chance to win one.
The art looks really cool...

You would have to be looking for it. But, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance/Interplay got a spot:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_in_video_games#April%E2%80%93June
Edit
Three spots.
D&D: Dark Alliance is supposed to be out June 22, 2021. There is probably no hurry when it comes out.
The time to milk it, is when people have the money and time to buy and play the game. No time like the present.
People are heading back to the workplace for work and out of the home for entertainment.
I, also, think we are heading for high inflationary times. High government debt won't be paid off by increasing taxes on businesses and high net worth individuals. I'm not sure the government is up to growing the economy, either.
People may not have the discretionary funds to buy 20 year old video games (I won't say at a premium).
I'm thinking that they will wait at least a year to first milk this release as long as possible... Plus they still have to release on PC...
Sorry, hit the submit button twice.
And, the 3.8 cent question is when?
And the success of this game all but assures the next game will also be re-released
I'm happy to see there is still a buyer. I guess the plans to bring Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance to the PC and mobile devices (? I think), is keeping someone's interest. Those two areas carry the bulk of video game players. I wish they would relay an ETA.
About 150,000. I sold some two weeks ago. It wasn't me selling today. We are not getting any info from IPLY. I'm currently on the fence on selling.
On, one hand, I think that IPLY might get bought out. The game library would be of use to Amazon (for gaming, IP for animated stories, and graphic novels). It looks like Netflix might want to get into gaming, also.
On the other hand, I think Herve might just run IPLY into the ground, milking it for all the money he can, leaving shareholders high and dry. Selling while the shares were up a few hundred percent makes sense.
I don't think the games or the IP would be worth much to other companies. It's still worth something, but a Netflix or Amazon could make better use of IPLY's library and IP.
Edit
I think I sold enough to get more out than I originally put in.
How many shares do you have left Rick?
Vol.. There you go.
I'm no longer relying on Kingpin:Reloaded. I think it turned out to be too hard for 3D Realms. It seemed to be really important for them last year, when they started, now less so. I doubt they will ever finish. I, also, doubt it would sell better than Baldur's Gate, Earthworm Jim, or anything else IPLY has going on.
I read an article recently about 3D Realms. 3D realms said that they are focusing on two games right now, both shooters, neither of which were Kingpin. I'm wondering if this means that their finances are tight and they want to get those two games out the door before they provide any financing for other games in development... that would explain why there has been no news on Kingpin. They might be waiting to finish development for when they make some money off their two soon to be released games

Ah yes, a daily chart makes sense and that it spiked for a couple days right around the time of its release. I agree with you that, even if it doesn't mean tons of sales, the fact that it made the list at all is pretty significant for a company like Interplay... and this is only one platform. They also released on Xbox and PlayStation and will be releasing on PC later this year
It was still on the list this morning (I checked). I just checked and it's off the list. It was second to the last when I posted yesterday (and checked this morning).
https://www.nintendo.com/games/nintendo-switch-best-sellers/
Judging by the titles on the list, I think it's a 24 hour list, or some limited time period. Some of the games were released years ago. I doubt it takes huge sales numbers to make it on the list.
I think it was great and note worthy to be on the list, even for a limited period. It shows there was more than average interest in the game.
I just don't know why they would delete the post. In the future, it will give me pause, on re-posting anything form Interplay/Black Isle Studios or any other entity involved with IPLY. I doubt I am the only one.
I think it was a mistake that it was listed on the Nintendo bestseller list. I can't find it on that list and interplay deleted the tweet
