If Hervé doesn't own the 65 million shares, why does that entity not force the sale of the company and collect their payment? With the Earthworm Jim alone, I think you could get 20 million which is 20 cents a share. That entity paid 260000 for 65 million shares. I think he could consider himself not lying because they created a holding company to own those shares. Therefore, he does not own them as they are in someone else's name. My guess is a bunch of investors are Juiced into it including Hervé Caen, Eric Caen, maybe even Chris Nelson and Chris Taylor as why have they stayed with the company this entire time otherwise? They surely could have gotten a job at a different place with more upside potential
When I asked Herve about the 65M investor he said it was not him. Therefore, he either owns very little of the stock or is lying about. Either way does not bode well for shareholders.
What does add up to a whole lot of money are the balance sheet items Herve tracks of money owed to him. IIRC he was deferring a ridiculous salary as due to him by the company in the future.
Herve has 9 million shares publically listed that he owns. His brother has five million. There's 65 million shares owned by an unknown entity that is listed in Luxembourg so is untraceable. I have got to think Herve and his brother own a big piece of that 65 million shares. I don't see why he would not do something with the company at some point owning that many shares. Heck, he could sell interplay for 20 million for Earthworm Jim alone which would value the stock at about $0.20 and he would likely rake in millions. My thought on this stock is always that I'm betting with the c e o who has significant IP if he decides to sell
I still think Interplay revenues go into the pocket of Herve and he has no plans for shareholders. Hope I am wrong but it seems true.
Yeah, the stock needs to trade. We're clearly screwed without that. I can't imagine this not reporting thing is the forever plan as Hervé and company have a lot of shares. My understanding is it costs about four hundred grand a year to report, so I'm thinking that they will wait until after release of Earthworm Jim
As someone that doesn't have a Facebook or Twitter account, I find it useless. IPLY lets both companies limit my access to any posts.
I'd feel better if the stock were able to trade freely.
Lots of viral marketing of BGDA2 on Twitter and Facebook. I like this new advertising campaign, lots of traction for minimal costs...
Yesss! You tell em Neddy boy. Let's expose, to everyone, how our country is an even more fake democracy than Russia. Can you believe people think their vote actually matters? And the other funny thing is how there's so much evidence, including this great movie 2000 Mules, and still, the Deep state blocks even Trump judges from examining such compelling truth. One of my jobs, as Lord commander of the Deep State, is to threaten judges into pretending there isn't such amazing and compelling evidence. I must admit I failed in my job 65 times when Maga cultists brought their case to court and talked about all the ballot stuffing, zombies, bamboo ballets, and Italian satellites. I thought we were screwed in the Deep State because there were so many videos catching people doing this, but other Deep Staters fulfilled their missions of doctoring said evidence, and so our fake, wannabe country remains a fake democracy. Yippee!
Thx Ned for teaching me about our country. Next step, we need to educate our country and bring them up to the standards of great Kazakhstan. Our country does not yet know how to do a true fair election. Truth be told, we don't have many smart people who could figure out how to stop people like me from just dumping millions of fake bamboo paper votes into our ballot boxes, though, Ned, clearly you could educate many of us and bring our country out of the gutter of being a joke of a democracy and into a becoming a real country someday, like the great Kazakhstan
Thx Ned. Looks like a good movie. I agree that we live in a fake democracy. Heck, me and my friends have been stuffing ballots since 1980. It's pretty funny. We rigged it for Obama back in the day, again using those handy bamboo ballots and we also rigged 2020 election. Can you believe that some Americans actually believe we live in a real democracy??? ?? We're so incompetent, even after 200 plus years, we still don't know how to secure an election. Now Kazakhstan, there is a country, a real country, who knows how to do elections. There is so much our fake democracy could learn from this real democracy. Kazakhstan is the greatest country in the world!
Ned is back! Yeah baby! Interplay News with a MAGA twist...
Tell the truth Ned, were you there on January 6th helping to stop the peaceful transfer of power? I promise to not tell the FBI on you. Just trying to test the mettle of your MAGA street cred. I mean everyone who is anyone was there jamming the American Flag down the backsides of those men and women in Blue in support of our one true Emperor, the direct descendent of Odin and rightful ruler of the universe...
Ned with a little Interplay news combined with a little right wing propaganda. What an odd combination, but, we're talking Interplay here, so the absurdity kind of fits...

Hunter.

That would be in a year or two assuming they started working on the animated series with the announcement.
I would think that they would sell them around the time the cartoon launches
I wonder when ILPY will try to sell them. There is supposed to be a limited supply at 10,000.
Yeah, I saw that. Actually seems pretty interesting
ED3N video on IPLY's website.:
https://www.interplay.com/
That was a weird spam from Ned Flanders about unrelated political stuff...
On another note, Black Isles Studios tweeted that they will soon be revealing the date for BGDA2
You'll find I'm well worth the wait. Like a mild cheddar, I get tangy when I'm sitting on a shelf.

Gee Golly Neighbors time to short Hunter stocks.
Wow! That's pretty crazy interplay is getting into NFT tech... it actually sounds like a pretty cool tie in to the show
IPLY has a trademark for "Lost Eden" but, I don't know if they own the game. (edit) Or, has anything to do with ED3N
https://uspto.report/TM/88701064
Edit
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Eden
I think, it was one of the titles IPLY inherited from Titus
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgin_Interactive
Interplay put an odd addition on the top of their web page... It says Ed3N with a blooming plant logo . Does anyone know what game that indicates? Or maybe it's an April Fool's joke
Great find Rick!
Thx for posting. NFT's are easy money
I saw this on Reddit:
Yeah saw this. There seems to be quite a lot of news coverage about this, and a fair amount of interest
IPLY sort of announced Baldur's Gate:Dark Alliance 2 will be coming out some time in 2022 (if anyone cares).
https://twitter.com/BlackIsleStudio/status/1496183318613794821
Interplay's viral marketing for Earthworm Jim and Dark Alliance have both been really good.
(Customary disclaimer)I know Interplay doesn't own Fallout anymore:
Fallout TV Series For Prime Video Is Still Happening, Jonathan Nolan Set To Direct
https://www.slashfilm.com/727455/fallout-tv-series-for-prime-video-is-still-happening-jonathan-nolan-set-to-direct/
Someone had the foresight to get IPLY's re-releases done the same year the new Baldur's Gate game was released. I think it's good marketing for both games. I applaud whoever came up with it (Herve, the outside company, or Wizards of the Coast)
It would have been nice if IPLY gave a free download to all shareholders.
I don't think Wizards of the Coast has anything to do with the re-releases. Interplay owns the rights to these games but cannot alter them in any way without express permission... Hence, no changes to the game other than resolution. An outside company, I can't remember the name offhand but it's on Steam, ported the games for Interplay. The two companies are splitting the profits in some, way, though Wizards of the Coast probably also gets an automatic percentage as well as holders of the D and D license, 10 or 15% I'm guessing, depending on how the original game was structured
It takes a year or more (usually more) to produce an animated series from scratch. I didn't see a venue for Earthworm Jim, so I don't know who would be bank rolling it. Whatever broadcaster/streaming service shows it, will usually pay a percentage of the production costs.
I doubt IPLY is paying for the BG:DA releases. I think it's Wizards of the Coast. It's cheap marketing for their (newish) game, Baldur's Gate 3.
On a different note, I think the SEC needs to rethink the trading ability of these non-reporting companies. I don't know what the answer is but, suspending trading hurts the shareholders, not the company.
Yeah agree. Would love to know those numbers. I'm thinking they must be pretty decent or they wouldn't have been able to release on PC, LINUX, and Mac. That's like six versions of this one game.
Also agree it would be great to know what the shareholder plan is. Hervé owns at least 9 million shares, so he seems to have a pretty strong economic incentive to, at some point, unlock shareholder value and start reporting financials again. We shall see... I'm hoping when they release Kingpin and Earthworm Jim cartoon, that will be the point where they start reporting again...
I wonder what the sales numbers are for the various platforms. I'd, also, love to know what the plan is to get shareholder value.
Interplay is on a roll lately. Lots happening...

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance has arrived on PC!
And some of you thought it wouldn't drop this year. 😏
Available now on Steam, Epic, GOG, Mac and Microsoft Store!#BaldursGateDarkAlliance / #DnD / #RPG pic.twitter.com/sCfEwXHkCZ
It looks like some of the icons on their website could become clickable links, maybe they just are not active, yet.
If it is IPLY's intention to start SEC reporting again, I wish they would come out and say it and lay out their plans for the future. Otherwise, I am hoping some other company buys them.
I think the company could limp along licensing IP and re-releasing old games for the foreseeable future but, it's a disservice to shareholders. Shareholder's IPLY stock is dead money, right now.
I'm interested to see what company will be showing the Earthworm Jim animated series. It didn't say in the article.
I did see an animated Toyota commercial done by the company handling the animated series. It was well done. I think the Earthworm Jim animated series is in good hands.
https://www.stashmedia.tv/toyota-noras-joy-by-kyra-constantin-and-passion-pictures/
Trailer looks really good...
On another note, on Interplay's website, you cannot click on any of the games and go to steam or any other site where you can see more about the game or purchase the game. Very odd.
P. S. I'm hoping after they release Kingpin and Earthworm Jim cartoon that they will then start posting earnings, so we can start trading again
Trailer for Baldur's Gate:Dark Alliance out, for Steam, no ETA on actual release date.

Schwab would be a no quote, also. I would have to call in to put a sell order.
Schwab will, also, start charging $6.95 for OTC trades.
Can't find an IPLY quote and can't find a place where a buy order can be placed. Etrade, TD Ameritrade, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers all are a no.
