While waiting for the announcement of the list of strategic and protected salt flats, within the framework of the National Lithium Strategy, our president for Latin America, Rodrigo Dupouy, spoke with Diario La Segunda about what is expected on this day. 📰🎙️
"These are definitions that we have been waiting for several months. It is an important step to begin to have a little clearer rules for the development of new projects in Chile, although there would still be other variants to be cleared. For example, the bidding mechanisms for the salt flats that will be declared as exploitable," he said.

Yikes! Reading about a heavily funded private company out of Oakland that says they have a proven, patented DLE modular plant...Lilac Solutions. Claim they are doing something at Great Salt Lake. Be great if IBAT could get court case behind them and be first to production at any site.
So IBATs contract customer probably is US Magnesium LLC.? Are they are major player for IBAT?..Whats their stock price?...They are the largest producer of Primary Magnesium in North America and operate out of Salt Lake City Utah..Environmental concerned company for sure..Anyways ...No judges decision yet on the court case..Sucks this silence..

There are only 2 carbonate producers in the Western United States. Us Magnesium LLC. and Albermarle. Albermarle is not using DLE to expand Silver Peak so.
Yes IBAT has a contract(s) in place in western US with whom ? the confidentiality agreement for now cannot disclose.OK.The IBAT tech it is my understanding, that IBATs tech/components can be leased out ..Burba talked with Exxon Mobil about its MDLE .Burba We hope would cut a good deal id imagine, or walk..If the Shoe Fits, Wear it..Might be the case about that Arkansas Smackover Brine(how many acres?)...Sold to Exxon Mobil by Galvanic Energy CEO Brent Wilson..Exxon Mobil has enough money for sure..IBAT is the only commercially proven DLE tech tested by first SLR, and later by Greg Mehros Group..No slouches and the testing proved great, with not just that Arkansas Smackover brine, but many other different composed brines..So we can dial in the settings according to the brines to be extracted.IBAT has the tech, and that means many deals are to be in its future...Partners wilI be multiple..Plants and tech will be sold/leased by Burba..Hes got this..this time around..IMO.Here Come the Judge? Whats Up Doc? Lets have the judges decision already..or when ever you give it to us investors?? Enquiring minds want to know.LOL...Also, that new patent not being PRd ....would have been nice... They are geering up for growing a top 3 Small Cap Nasdaq Company..IMO..
I'm not sure if I am the only one to read IBAT release that the customer us an existing carbonate producer in the Western United States. Permits in place, unit in site. Factory acceptance testing starting / has commenced and initial production expected by EOM April.

Thanks Gregcod! Good summary of what we all hope is happening with Exxon in Arkansas. In addition, I'm looking forward to finding out where John placed his initial plant and who he partnered with in the Western State location that's been publicized, but not defined (Salton Sea???). I'm also ready to see Ensorcia get going with their Burba modules in South America and Europe (France). In fact, since IBAT's DLE plants are the quickest to production, most cost efficient and are environmentally friendly... shouldn't all Lithium producers be using them. Stop me! Time to wake up...
Wow! What a great dream.
Now, let's see if the court will give us any real info today.
Well, here I go again saying that I believe that Arkansas Galvanic Energy CEO Brent Wilson sold Exxon Mobil on John Burbas MDLE Extraction Plant that got positively wowza twice review by experts.Wilson said IBATs tech is everything it was said to be..and more..He told that to Exxon Mobil that the smackover brine is perfectly match with IBAT tech that it is the perfect temperature,(200 degrees Celcius). and that IBAT delivered as promised. No heat exchangers needed for that hot brine! Low cost.and I believe Exxon Mobil is using IBATs tech,,and a plant(s) are multiply being built on the cuff as we speak. The video says that not alot land is needed.(IBAT),...and that the DLE is environment friendly. The absorbant ion material being used...to me it sounds like we have a perfect fit as Brent Wilson of Galvanic Energy stated..Wilson/Galvanic Energy sold that Arkansas Smackover to Exxon Mobil ! Makes sense as the video sways us into thinking that it IBAT and Exxon Mobil have deals going on..Gut Feeling..and I am not alone in this thinking as the last two post would point to.. Your Thoughts?
Thanks TC.
Interesting Video.
Looks like a duck...
Quacks like a duck...
Could it be John's ugly DLE plant?
Hoping for a Swan.
Extracting Lithium Below Arkansas | ExxonMobil
Snowing in New York, up early and doing some research..SQM doubles downon Lithium Boom as Peers Go on the Defensive.. On the edge of Chiles Atacama Desert, one of the worlds biggest lithium refineries(Albamarle?) is about to get alot bigger..Well they wont get bigger unless they do it in a Eco Friendly way..The only way to do it in Chile and Argentina is using an extraction method thats already licensed in both countries is IBATs Tech way..IMO..The water and the environment in both countries are too vital to undergo any more the older methods that destroyed the water supply and fauna..Argentina has already recently shut down projects by Acadian Company....spelling im not sure its correct..Why? Because of the water and environmental concerns..IBATs tech got approved and licensed there for that reason..Sorcia/Chemlys/IBAT has an agreement with Argentina Gov already..But We know we are the early bird..lining up the Ducks is happening as we speak..All Quiet news wise.OK.Big Dominoes Effect will take place as IBAT will show its first contract partner was no fool in hooking up with IBAT and Dr.John Burba..We wait for Monday the 25th for the judges anticipated dismissal of the court case, and in IBATs favor hopefully..IBAT currently building/assembling/upgrading that original St.Charles plant to be 8,000 metric tons per annum..Revenue and projected revenue will make the pps unfold as IBAT gets to disclose that western US major lithium/metals company its contracted with..Until then the confidentiality agreement between the two parties is highly being respested as we shareholders are seeing/feeling..Patience is running thin for many of course, LOL....Burba did not come this far to fail.IMO.Next week some news will start trickling in..Starting with the court case on Monday the 25th..We should here bout that next week before friday..Till then, Dreaming on getting that extra retirement money from IBATF to get to ocean to fish/party my life away... in Jimmy Buffet & Bob Marley Style..Too Cold in New York, even after the y warmest winter w no snow ever I seen.Seen Enough winters so Go IBAT Go!
Insiders know that IBAT is here to Grow... Those Shares allocated to the board members speaks volume about the direction Burba and company are going..Up! IMO..After today..after I buy some more shares of IBATF, I will have over 25,000 shares.. not boasting,... but for me,.... thats enough for this investment..Im happy where im at....will wait...next for the judges decision on March 25th next week..hope the judge decides in IBATs favor so we can move on from this old baggage. Thanks Trader for that post about the Judge deciding on March 25th extension... Good things coming Soon.IMO.

Absolutely nothing. Anson is paying sunresin a lot of $ to pilot their not so kenetic column. Utah has some valuation issues that doesn't make investing in lithium attractive.
You build a House,....they will come! that plant(s) with our contract customer?...Once they announce the partners name in western US?? This stock will have revenue, along with projected future revenue..then this stock will run up in a heartbeat to $5 plus per share.Im adding as soon as my funds clear on Friday..Been adding all along ..I need this hit to buy back BRTX....Go IBAT!

Codelco - as a state-owned company - must play a leading role and set an example in the development of the lithium mining industry. This means that it must comply with the environmental regulations that govern its operations, it must respect the rights recognized in the Political Constitution to mining concessionaires, as well as respect the ancestral rights of the Original Peoples who inhabit the areas where lithium exploitation projects are sought to be developed. The basin formed by the Salar de Maricunga constitutes a complex hydrogeological ecosystem, which in order to maintain environmental, water, socioeconomic and cultural balances, must respect the rule of law that governs Chile. You can't claim to suppress rights. The Indigenous Peoples, their customs, the members of small and medium mining, are an essential part of Chile and its mining, and Codelco must be clear that in order to advance in the development of its projects, it must sit down, talk, listen, respect, and seek great agreements for the benefit of all.
I love to be reading more and more colleagues emphasizing the relevance of ancestral and cultural heritage, environmental and hydrogeological issues, and the search for mutually beneficial agreements in the field of lithium mining. It's good that people are understanding the relevance of addressing the community bond from day 0, that they are really becoming aware of the environment, and that they are linking Indigenous Peoples. To put into practice what has been preached :)
Thanks Trader for the Update on the courtcase, which just is a nuisance ..but that will end soon with the judges decision ..IMO..in the favor of IBAT..2 weeks..We Wait..We wait for Revenue, cause in the end, money talks..bullshit walks..as the next posters post suggests the truth be told.Revenue is the bottom line.. and its coming.IMO..
Looks to me like the court is getting tired of the plaintiffs' requests. Two weeks for them to respond seems fair.
Not sure what's in my best interest as a shareholder, but I'm holding for news showing income.

President Biden gives a 2.26 billion dollar loan to Canadian Based Americas Lithium to develop its mines located in Thacker Pass, Nevada...ACME/ACLHF is in That region as well?..Big News cause water and environmental concerns may warrant the IBAT Tech to be used! Big News IMO..Your thoughts..ACME/ACLHF is in my portfolio..was down all year..Steve Hanson, the CEO of ACME/ACLHF is no dummie..His claims are in Clayton Valley. and it appears the surveys say their plenty of white gold in that region adjacent to Albamarle Silver Peaks , the only lithium producer in the US..but not for long.. Preident Joe Biden made a smart move to crank up Lithium production in the US! Hooray! Green Tech is the way to mine!
IBAT'S DIRECT LITHIUM EXTRACTION
"We believe that our technological advantages will allow IBAT and its partners to
lead the world in green lithium production." - Dr. John Burba, Chairman
WHO WE ARE
https://rjrlithium.cl/?page_id=11
At Ensorcia, we strive to offer timely sustainable and low carbon solutions to the battery industry.
The Ensorcia Group employs the IBAT DLE technology, a cost-effective and resource-efficient process, offering an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional lithium extraction methods. This technology has been developed by Dr John Burba, a pioneer in Lithium extraction with more than 40 years of experience in critical metals and lithium extraction.
“We believe that our technological advantages will allow [us] and our partners to lead the world in green lithium production.” – Dr. John Burba
This approach also provides a timely solution to meet the surging demand associated with the expansion of the EV and battery storage market (more detailed information on Advantages of Ensorcia’s processing.
MOBILE PLANT
The first part of the plant is made up of mobile units and support equipment, such as LNG tanks and water tanks that we bring in from abroad. Mobile plants pump brine to the surface, which allows a 35% to 40% lithium chloride solution to be extracted through a chemical process. In parallel to this process, 90% of the extracted brine is re-injected at the salt flat with all its original minerals, such as magnesium, boron and calcium, with the exception of lithium and chlorine.
One of the main benefits of using this mobile technology is that it allows lithium chloride to be extracted in small salt flats, even with low concentrations of lithium in their brines, which before these technologies was economically unfeasible.
All this allows Sorcia to produce the first part in the salt flat with practically zero environmental impact. As it is installed on mobile elements, once the work comes to an end, these elements are easily removed, leaving the salt flat in the same conditions as it was before the operation began, without affecting the flora and fauna of the place, nor the surrounding communities, preserving the salt flats so that future generations can enjoy them.

Berkshire Hathaway Energy lithium and john burba
Copilot
Certainly! Let’s delve into the fascinating world of lithium and explore the connection between Berkshire Hathaway Energy and Dr. John Burba.
Berkshire Hathaway Energy (BHE):
BHE, a subsidiary of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., has made significant strides in the realm of lithium extraction.
They’ve embarked on a venture to extract lithium from their geothermal wells located in the Salton Sea region of California123.
This strategic move positions them as one of the key players in what’s being dubbed California’s Lithium Valley4.
Dr. John Burba:
Dr. Burba, affectionately known as ‘The Godfather of Lithium’, is the brilliant mind behind a groundbreaking lithium extraction technology.
His invention, which was initially used in Argentina back in 1998, has undergone significant enhancements.
The core of this technology lies in an absorbent that selectively captures lithium and chloride ions.
Unlike traditional methods that rely heavily on chemicals for lithium recovery, Dr. Burba’s process achieves high lithium extraction percentages without compromising environmental integrity5.
Notably, the capital costs associated with this technology are lower compared to competing methods.
Environmental Consciousness:
Dr. Burba’s approach is remarkably environmentally friendly.
Most of the water used in the process is reused, and the residual brine is re-injected back into the salars (with government permits).
This ensures that indigenous people’s water supply remains safe, and the land is not harmed during lithium extraction.
The Current Lithium Market:
Currently, there are two primary methods for extracting lithium:
Spodumene Mining: This method involves open-pit mining, heavy chemical use, waste ponds (which can contaminate groundwater), high-temperature roasting, and other environmental challenges.
Salar Brines: These are extracted using solar evaporation, but the resulting lithium solution is impure and requires chemical treatment for purification. The recovery rates are low, leading to high costs and limited production.
Dr. Burba aptly describes the current lithium market as a “mess” due to the various issues associated with these extraction methods5.
In summary, BHE’s collaboration with Dr. John Burba represents a significant leap forward in sustainable and efficient lithium extraction. Their efforts could potentially revolutionize the industry and contribute to a cleaner, greener energy future. 🌱🔋
Advancing Clean Energy Through Mineral Development
BHE Renewables is advancing lithium production research in California’s Imperial Valley. Lithium - the critical mineral used in lithium-ion batteries to power cellphones, laptop computers and electric vehicles - can be found in the brine processed at BHE Renewables’ geothermal facilities. A demonstration project to recover lithium from the geothermal brine was placed in-service in 2022, with a demonstration project to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate planned to be on-line in 2023. Upon successful completion of the projects, construction of the first commercial plant could begin as soon as 2024, leading to an environmentally responsible domestic source of lithium. The energy used for lithium production would be 100% renewable.

Ive been watching the Barchart Ratings as Always when the action starts to heat up on stocks..well, IBATF is now up to a 64% Barchart buy Rating and the direction is headed strong and sure upwards..Last time Barchart had a rating of 80% to 100% ..IBATF was between $3.60 to $5.60 so ..looking good as the first plant is set in place at our western US contract client???..that plant will be upscaled from 4000 metric tons of lithium Bi to 8000 metric tons per annum asap..More clients are getting marketed for $ure..The early bird gets the worm. Going to be exciting..News is Coming Soon...Too Quiet but that confidentiality agreement with the first contract client in western US has Burba being secretive as he is protecting his patented tech with all means necessary ...but the cats out of the bag IMO that IBAT is the way to extract lithium from the Brines..Environmentalists no doubt agree that IBAT tech is safe, no chemicals used for the most part, Cost effective,..and one plant will require only 2.3 agrees of land which 98% of the water is recycled when it isput back into the ground less the lithium..Fact.cost 20 million to build a MDLE plant.takes 8 months to build! doesnt cost a billion like other plants..and the plant is Modular..can be moved within days to another resource when the resorse is dried up.No environmental impact to the ecosystem! Thats what IBAT is all about..PS.Still waiting on the court case to be officially over if it isnt already..and a PR on the new patent is also expected soon..Burba has got this.eyes are watching this stock!

Management continues to market the Company’s technology to customers who have brine resources from existing chemical, mineral and metal production, and brine aquifer resource holders. These marketing efforts are focused in the near term on the Western United States, the Central United States area referred to as the Smackover formation, and Canada. Longer term, management will continue to monitor the markets in South America for potential opportunities.
Supporting these efforts, management is developing a 2nd generation MDLE Plant which will provide customers with the option to significantly increase the volume of production based on the quantity of their brine resources, the concentration of brine in their resources, the available land to place a MDLE Plant and their financial resources.
Management is working with bankers to complete a private placement to raise USD$15 million with banker option to upsize by 15%. Additionally, an existing investor, EV Metals led by Jacob Warnock is working on a Strategic Offering of up to USD$20 million. The initial closing of the Strategic Offering on February 29, 2024 was for proceeds of USD$2.0 million.
Chile avoids lithium project presentations at the world's largest mining fair

"The 36 projects we presented at the PDAC do not include lithium (...) Within the first half of the year we are going to deliver information to the market regarding lithium projects," said Minister Williams, as reported by Diario Financiero.
36 PROJECTS PRESENTED, NONE LITHIUM.
In this regard, the head of the Mining portfolio explained that lithium has a different legal regime, while during the first quarter the strategic salt flats will be defined – which can be exploited and the protected ones – limited to investment – along with how private investors will enter.
At the same time, he announced that "there are five requests for Special Operating Contracts (Ceol) for lithium, of which one is from Enami and another from Codelco, which has asked for change with the incorporation of Salar Blanco (LPI) in its project and we have three more private companies that have requested Ceol," as DF expresses
Regarding lithium projects, the state-owned company points out that "we are in another stage, which is what is in the Andean salt flats (Alto Andino project, which groups the salt flats of La Isla, Aguilar, Las Parinas, Infieles and Grande).
"We are going to carry a lithium business card so that every time someone wants more information, they can communicate directly with the entire lithium team," said María Cristina Vallejos, Enami's Development and Projects manager, as quoted by Diario Financiero.
The Chilean delegation brought a portfolio of 36 mining projects to Canada to the new version of the PDAC fair. Of these 18 are copper, 15 are linked to Enami, but none are focused on lithium

This stock even though quiet…is building momentum for a Huge Surge imo. The next 6 months should show some life. With China destroying lithium prices a lot of companies will disappear and supply demand will be be back again increasing prices. The DLE will be main option to mine and we will be ready as a Company imo
