Intel has always had the toughest anti hackers on the front lines defending licensed software. This Superconductor Manufacturing Megastore (INTC) is host to most of the Auto industry, along with many other partnerships. It’s up to the software developers to create viable non-crackable programs, using these microchips of the future. AI is on the books for substantial integration.

Dell had Otis's dice in a vise. The six billion $ payed to Dell was not a bribe. I get my info regarding this matter from a poster here with the handle Elmer Phud.
And Elmer says, "The only evidence there ever was was AMD's say so."
$INTC Intel will put unvaccinated employees on unpaid leave https://theverge.com/2021/12/21/22849074/intel-unvaccinated-employees-unpaid-leave
more than a fine, it was an extortion engineered by some EU burocrats that have nothing else to do in life
It's everyone's issue ATM, only one company makes those machines! And current production rate is in the single digits per year. This process is at the limit of what is possible with these machines and as such the defect rate is always going to be high.

Keep an eye on IBM's 2nm design for hints at tunneling problem. They will need a transistor configuration change to keep it from melting as they go smaller.
Welcome to the bleeding edge!
My view is that Intel always has the best process technology. What they didn't have was enough EUV machines to do "copy exactly" across all their fabs. The rest is history...
Hey Elmer,
Been a long time! With Gelsinger back in the hot seat Intel will move back toward the company they were. He does sound a bit too much like a used car salesman but if he can drive execution more power to him.
Hope all is well,
Alan
The only evidence there ever was was AMD's say so.
EU General Court Annuls European Commission's $1.2 Billion Antitrust Fine Against Intel
I guess Intel was not anti-competitve and did not abuse its dominant position in the processor market.
Tell me about it
What a mistaka to maka.

When GE shut down the circuit board plant in Coshocton Ohio
They did not want to tear the plant down , they told the EPA we will be back in 2030 . The EPA told GE you have to clean the up in the plant and it will be much easy to do it now than in 25 years when you reopen the plant . GE tore the plant down and left town

INTC$ $80 target price woohoooooo
AMD kicked Intel in the teeth with this. The I/O did in the high end parts is manufactured on an older process.
Alan
If I sold 3 INTC shares and bought one AMD share I would still have enough $$ to buy the kido's some chicken nuggets. May include beaks and claws, parts is parts.
This is a new one: Intel thriving on old technologies.
Northland Capital markets analyst Gus Richard raised his rating on Intel to outperform with a price target of $62 even though there remain “lots of negatives.”
“For the first time in many years, we think Intel is starting to executeon a coherent strategy,” Richard said. “We expect Intel to leverage its [System in Package] capability and optimize its fab resources producing die that is best built on older technology.”

I was afwaid something like that would happen.
