The Insider Board is about stocks that show unusual activity, possibly indicating a 'leak' about developments, i.e. somebody knows something, and tells their girlfriend, or best friend about it. Or, they just buy some shares cause they know something is about to happen....or get somebody else to buy shares for them.
In particular, this applies to Shells. When there's a RM, there are 3 parties where a leak could come from: The shell owners, the shell buyers, and the people making the deal.
Some of the biggest runners are the result of Reverse Mergers of Shells.
On other stocks, knowledge of an important development could also be 'leaked'.
Be aware that there are a lot of false alarms. For instance there are people that will throw a grand or so at a shell, just as a gamble, and nothing further happens with the stock.
If money continues to be thrown at a stock though, it's time to take notice.
