With Weather Delays
the Santa Rally is late.
How long can we wait?
Wealth Confiscation
no matter the Politics
ain't Wealth Creation.
Market Risk Measures...
We compare to history....
Cautionary Risk......
They say that markets
love divided government.
Post mid-term rally?
A fellowship missed
Your return brightened my day
Welcome back, Old Friend
I've been away
For a really long long time
I have returned
The market is closed,
so, we take a well-earned break.
Happy Labor Day!
Be careful teaching
NonMaterialism
and getting paid well.....
Caution and Prudence
when Market Risk is higher,
Proactive when low.
Market Risk gives a feel for future appreciation potential. We see times of lower risk to be when we should be proactively building equity inventory as there is greater potential appreciation going forward. Times when risk is above median level doesn't mean there is no chance for price appreciation, only that investment gains should be weighed against tolerance for risk exposure.
Rally Back Market
shows up in Speculation
above Median
The rally from the June lows has accelerated money flow back toward Equities. A consolidation may be necessary to keep the trend alive. While Speculation is currently neutral and only slightly above its median value it does have the feel of "too much, too fast."
These valuations
are a bargain hunter's dream.
Shop, shop, 'til you drop!!
Consensus is strong
against investing for Long.
Maybe they're all wrong.
The Divergence Index is below Median and has been somewhat bullish looking out 3 months. The data shows only 201 New 52 Week Highs last week out of 9060 issues that were traded on the NYSE and NASDAQ. This low percentage has historically been bullish.
LOL, well don't feel too lonely. I actually check in every day, so I actually see all your posts.
I'm generally kind of rushed though, because this is one of a list of several financial sites that I check each day. I'm in a quite a few markets; equities, currencies, fixed income, real estate, etc.
But keep 'em coming and let not your heart be troubled! Your haiku genius isn't being wasted!

Thanks C, I was feeling lonely here!!!
Nice job!
Buying from the scared
is the thing to do right now
(not on margin though).
Everyone agrees.
"This is a scary market!"
Load the Shopping Cart!
Rising Interest Rates
with higher inflation, too,
P/Es should come down.
"Sell May, Go Away!"
(we frequently heard this chant)
Can we come back now?
Investors showed angst
then reversed their opinion.
Volatility!
"....Slowing Inflation...."
Still takes down Purchase Power.
Compounded Cancer.
New Issues decline
I.P.O. activity
more normal levels
The Markets awash
in a Tidal Surge of Cash.
"Secure the Moorings!"
Consensus Fickle
investors in a pickle
ready to move on?
With Weekends at war
Friday trading is nervous.
New clues at the Close?
I hate Limbo Land
Stuck, no buys or sells ain't grand
No activity
Risk well off its Peak
still makes Median look meek.
Reversion to Mean?
Some days aren't that great.
On average is it just fate?
Guess we have to wait.
S.I. has such things
Nice to build a fan club base
Should be easy 'add.'
That's Silicon Investor. I never though to build a haiku page there.
