Clay I respect you. Just Sometimes when you talk about the OTC stocks you seem bitter. Like Nasdaq or NYSE securities don't retreat 60-90% of their value. Securities trade globally and it's not right to glorify or demonize any particular exchange. It's miss leading and I recall you saying how bad OTC pennies are several times. I encourage you to continue making money when the opportunity arises. It's great business. It's just hard to trust a person that takes compensation then put down the security exchange. Now if I was paid and not disclosing that, then I'd agree fully that I am being "secretive", but that just is not the case. I don't see anything secret about ClayTrader. The posts and other trading suggestions he may be paid for are disclosed.

I like to see the good traders bring. No trader is perfect as we're all human. ClayTrader gives free video chart analysis and with his skills has built a trading business that can offer more should a trader what to pay for more content. His chat room is always abuzz with many traders to learn from.

For OTC trading specifically, I think most know what the monopoly rules are. These are companies with much less transparency and less available funding sources than the big board companies. It's about issuing shares to help someone, or a group, have their dreams come true in a public company. There are many strategies to try and sell these shares after being received from a company to relieve a company liability. Can this business process be viewed negatively? Yes. Pump and dumps. All will take your money. Etc etc etc. But what about the .01% that uplist? Yes, some OTC companies uplist to the big boards so it can't be said ALL companies are pump and dumps on the OTC IMO.

Super Cocky - Very Rude & No Value! Lost a lot of money!
I've been trading for 5 years, and never relied on any of these rooms. I traded quality, and it paid well. I Had a gorgeous portfolio, and kept adding too it, little by little with successful trades. I found InvestorsLive through twitter, and thought to join him. It was by far the biggest mistake in my day trading career.

Patience:

This kid has no patience what so ever. I can understand why! These rooms have such a big turn around with members, people come in by 100's and leave and never return by 100's. So he doesn't feel like wasting time teaching you. He thinks you are one person that came in, paid him the $100 and he is already got what he wants. There is a group of them in a room, that have been there from the beginning, maybe 20-30 guys, and pretty much they feed each other. They all jump on you if you talk, and the room is full of manipulation with random stocks.

He tells you to PM him if you have questions, when you do, all he does is bash you privately. He keeps telling you go read his Seminars, which I found to be anything but helpful. He has two methods that he shoves down your throat, in all the seminars or in his Scans. "Short on Parabolic, and cover into weakness for profit. His second method is to go long into dips and sell into bounces." Every single time I PMed him regarding a play, I got no answer about my particular question, but "Did you read the Seminars?", "Did you look at Member's First Page"? Now, the funny thing was, I had very well gone though a lot of those seminars all together.

Former Runner:

They got two people in the room, who simply type Stocks that are hitting 52week high, and 52week low using ST's Platform. Every a few days or so, they would write a stock in the chat, that they thought was a Former runner. InvestorsLive himself, barely went long on them, even if he did, the position sizes were small. What they don't tell you about Former Runners, is that, out of maybe 20-30 of them, one of them actually triggers and goes up. So you lose money on the other ones, and end up being a bag holder. The former Runner Scans were a joke. Not to mention, they were being thrown in the room, every a few days. Of course, not their fault, but just to give you an idea of this whole "Former Runner" situation.

His Trades?:

How he makes his money? He has a big cash account + even bigger margin account so he barely loses money. If wrong in the trade, he simply averages down with more cash, or averages up with more cash. For him to lose any money, it would have to be something out of the ordinary, since there is enough cash to get him out of any trade either at scratch, or most times with gains. So many times, he has gone long, and says he had a particular stop loss, and the stop loss comes and goes, and at the end of the day he reports a gain on the trade, when it has a bounce and it comes back. You find out, that he had given the trade more room. He simply has the cash, to sit out on trades, until they go his way. 99.99% of Retail traders don't have that advantage. Luck or skill, this guy has made some nice money, more so in the regular Pump and Dumps. That cash from those, is helping him make more money. Unless you got 500K in your account, you can't walk the walk and talk the talk with these guys. No possible.

LiveChat:

In the chat if you were to ask him a question, that he may have hinted an answer to, he goes above and beyond to write a paragraph as to tell you why you didn't go back in the chat log and find the answer, vs taking two seconds than answering you. So as far as real time help, forget it. I already covered the content in his Seminars, so that's that as well.

If you take into a position, and make money, he takes the credit and if you lose money, he says "we told you not to chase, and read the seminars". He always takes the higher hand, hence making you feel like the underdog.

He barely mentions his longs. His excuses is that, he doesn't want members to lose money, but he makes a very nice amount of money on the longs, but fails to tell anyone. He doesn't talk about OTC's and what not. That's 6-7 of his trades per day. So all day, you are waiting and waiting.

Nightly Scans:

99% Of time, they are all shorts, or some shady company that's trading at 0.000000001cent. As written in the scans, he clearly says, short into parabolic and cover into weakness. Long into red to green, and or buy into dips and sell into bounces. His scans consist of very expensive companies like LNKD that he trades with his big account and no one can touch. Also as I mentioned, he doesn't mention much of a long positions.

Overall:

People, stick to your own trading. Trade quality, and reap the benefits. I wasted $100/Month, for a while, and lost a lot of money, because of his room. Now I've gone back to my old methods, and have to make my loss back, and then start being profitable. Don't let those twitter 20K Daily Profit snapshots trick you.

The Best Christmas Present I NEVER Received

I remember when I was very young, my parents and I went to the grocery store and purchased $100.00+ worth of food. Back then it would fill two grocery carts. On the very top of one of the grocery bags was a large bag of M&M's that I specifically picked for myself during our shopping trip. (I came from a low/middle income family so $100.00 was a good sum of money and a treat like a big bag of M&M's was definitely special).

Anyway, it was Christmas Eve and during our drive home from the store, I noticed that we were going through, lets say "the VERY LESS fortunate part of town". My parents asked me if I could pick a house during our drive that I thought was a little "less fortunate" than all the rest. We drove around for a while and I said "there, that one!". I don't remember much about the house except the front porch and roof looked like it was about to collapse.

So we stopped, got out, and grabbed a few bags of groceries that we had just purchased. My Mom specifically handed me the grocery sack with my big bag of M&M's sticking out the top. As a child, I really did not understand what was going on or what we were doing, but in our family you did not question your parents about anything.

We slowly walked up to the house and as we stepped on the front porch I remember thinking this is going to fall on us. My Dad knocked on the door and a single man answered the door just barely enough to look out and talk to my Dad. My Dad explained that we had just come from the store and we were here to give them everything we had purchased as a present. Slowly, the man opened the door. From another room the man's wife hesitantly came to the door. My Dad asked me to hand my bag of groceries to the lady. As soon as I walked up to the front door, 3 children, 2 boys about 8 or 9 years old and 1 girl about 6 years old came running out.

This next part happened over four decades ago, but I remember it as clearly as if it happened yesterday. That much smaller little girl pushed her 2 bigger brothers out of the way and ran out on the porch to grab MY bag of M&M's. Bearing a big smile and huge bright eyes, she immediately tucked that bag of M&M's under her shirt, ran back into the house, into a room, and slammed the door shut.

After several trips back and forth from the car to the house delivering the rest of the food we chatted. The receiving family offered to us to come in, but my parents graciously declined and we departed with the words "Merry Christmas".

On the drive home, my parents explained to me how in life there will always be people who will have more than you and there will people who will have less than you. If you concentrate your life's focus on those with more, life will be filled with disappointment, anger and a feeling of resentment. If you focus on helping people that are less fortunate than you, your life will be filled with happiness, achievement, and gratification. I didn't really understand everything that was being told to me at the time. I was still sad/mad that I did not get my big bag of M&M's. I did get nicer than usual presents the following Christmas day even tho I can't remember any of them now. I found out later my Dad had received an unexpected Christmas bonus from his boss.

As a child then, to now a senior adult, those words spoken to me by my parents on that drive home ring true each day. One of those “fork in the road life decisions”. I chose early to live with the satisfaction of helping others to the best of my ability. I continue to do it through the excitement I saw on that little girl's face which lives on in my heart.

So over the past couple of decades when anyone asks me "what was your favorite Christmas present you remember getting as a kid?" I respond by saying let me tell you a story about "a bag of M&M's"

IMHO today's market action in the energy sector is nothing more than global manipulation. The midterm/general election being held today show promise for the GOP/Republicans to gain majority control. With this in mind, supported by the knowledge that the GOP is backed by big oil & energy corporations, it becomes an opportunity to "shake out the weak longs" before the Republican run up of oil & energy stocks.

Early this morning it was communicated on CNBC that Saudi Arabia was drastically lowering oil prices to the USA, however, increasing prices to other countries. For those who are younger than 40 years old probably do not remember the tactics used by the middle east to cause an oil "panic" in the USA from 1973 to 1979. Oil more than doubled during this time.

Contemporary oil company strategies can not use "Oil Shock or shortage panic tactics" as a method to move prices higher. The United States has made major technological advances that increase Wind, Solar & EPA efficiencies while reducing cost. USA has also taken on the challenge of tapping into its own underground oil resources. Those technologies challenge the global dominance of big oil. High oil prices only incentivize investment in the above stated efficiencies. IMHO the strategic plan of big oil is to lower oil prices for about a 1 to 3 year period in order to make oil efficient technologies less attractive to the investor. (prime opportunity to short these techs)

In closing, should the GOP/Republicans take control, then the markets should rally tomorrow and the energy sector (go long) should lead the way. Wall Street has manipulated Main Street for over 100 years. Over the past few decades, financial markets have globalized from Wall Street to Global Street manipulation.

One of my stocktwits/twitter goals, besides posting real time entry and exit trades for followers to learn from (Which very few do by the way), is to share trading experience guidelines for help.

These guidelines, or more like rules, are taped right on the wall next to my computer when I trade. I follow these rules, I try not to break them, or I lose money. That simple. Compiled over the years of trading, and order no importance. I try and follow them all. Your welcome.

1) NO TRADING ONCE THE DAYS LOSSES EXCEED XXXX.XX. (Insert your dollar amout) I find myself, when a get a loss over 5,000 dollars, I chase that loss, and ending up LOSING more money than the originial trade. Trading frustrated is no way to trade.

2) DO NOT OVERTRADE. Simply mathematics…the more high frequent trades I make, the more I get out of control, the more long term profits I end up losing.

3) NO TRADING THE SAME STOCK AFTER TAKING A LOSS THAT IN THE STOCK ALREADY THAT DAY. Using a real life YRCW short example lets say, shorted 10k at 5.17 a few months ago, stopped out 5.42, lost 2.5k. I Honestly think this stock is an absolute pig, and wanted to reshort it badly, but I did not due to my rule, and YRCW ended up going over 6 that day.

4) THE MORE STUBBORN YOU ARE, THE MORE YOU WILL LOSE. THE STOCK MARKET IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

5) NO TRADING OF PINK SHEETS OR .OTCBB STOCKS. I bring this up because everyone says “I missed VRMLQ.PK run. Well, for every VRMLQ.PK run, I have seen thousands, and I mean thousands of pink sheet or .otcbb stocks scams.

6) ALWAYS SET YEARLY AND MONTHLY TRADING GOALS, AND NEVER LOOK AT A DAILY CHANGES IN ACCOUNT. No one will be right everyday, impossible. But over time, months, year, years, you will see what your true success rate is. This is most important, there will ALWAYS BE BAD TRADES. I guarantee it.

7) DON’T CHASE STOCKS JUST TO DO A TRADE. AVOID BOREDOM TRADES. IF NO TRADE IS THERE, PASS, AND SOMETIMES DON’T TRADE ANY STOCKS AT ALL.

8) TRY TO GET IN BEFORE THE HEADLINES INSTEAD OF BUYING THE HEADLINES. Market homework absolutely required to be a success.

9) NEVER, EVER TRADE OVERNIGHT/EARNING PLAYS ON MARGIN. No swing long or swing short trades on margin. Shorting itself requries margin, but if I short long term it’s in small size compared to account balance. I NEVER hold overnight on margin, EVER, no exceptions.

10) SHRUG OFF ALL LOSSES IF RULES ARE FOLLOWED. It’s the trades when rules are broken that bother me, which is rare. If rules are followed, I learn from the loss, but move quickly to the next opportunity.
