PHILADELPHIA — A recent schedule change for week two will impact all four teams in the west division.

The Billings Outlaws announced Wednesday afternoon that it will be traveling to play the Washington Wolfpack this Sunday. The Outlaws were slated to be on the road against the Oregon Blackbears.

“We were told by the league that the [Blackbears] venue had issues that needed to be fixed before home games were approved for further play,” Steven Titus, owner of the Outlaws told Arena Insider. “We were already headed that way so I had no issues with just going to Everett.”

Blackbears president Pat Johnson appeared on Arena Football League’s podcast earlier this week and explained the gameplay and venue issues during the team’s win against the Wolfpack. The league later deleted the episode on all platforms.

The Wolfpack were scheduled to host the Rapid City Marshals on Saturday. The Marshals announced it will have a bye week according to a “league memorandum.”

Although the Blackbears have yet to make an announcement, its likely the team will also be on a bye.

The Arena Football League has not shared a statement about the change.

This is a developing story and this article will be updated with more details as it becomes available.

You are said idiot. Go to Ihub and click on trades. It tells the trades that happen at the bid, ask and somewhere in between. If it happens on the bid, people consider it a sale. If I read the contract correctly (back in September-ish), the money goes to HMBL and then HMBL pays any refunds needed, then they pay the AFL.

They are not in the ticketing Business. They sell tickets for one team on a shopify account. There is no AFL merch ..there is nothing. I didn't even see their name at any venue. They didn't even fulfill their contract with the AFL for providing tickets for every team. Maybe because they were not allowed per venues..who knows. I see no reason for the AFL to pay them anything besides what they sell in Oregon. Hell, the AFL won't be paying any of their bills in this current climate.

We have had this conversation many times. But sure, I will say it again... It is high school league. Doesn't matter because HMBL is in the ticketing business. They are auditioning for bigger things. Going into today’s bout, most everybody had it chalked up as a West Texas victory. While they did come away with the win, they did not look very clean in the process. Most everything was clean, but the recurring issues were mishandled snaps and penalties. There seem to be some timing and formation issues that the Desert Hawks just could not clean up; that will likely be the focus of practice this week. Otherwise, West Texas looked pretty good.

Smart move. That's only a 5000 capacity venue...but it's clean. That is also the only team that Humbl sells tickets for. I heard the reporter state $20-$40 range...and if kids are free, that will fill seats(presentation). I would actually love to see something like this in small venues for smaller communities..and I see no reason why you couldn't scale and be profitable. These guys fkd' up everything.

next weekend we will see the rest of the venues and if it makes it to the third week...we will see the corrections made. They have no money obviously...and the ticket sales were abhorrent for an opening season weekend ...or at any time of the season for that matter. They just will not be able to sell enough tickets to generate "enough" cash flow to get them out of this mess or even sustain this mess......and no investor is going to step in...unless he/she/they are complete fn' idiots.
