Well they just did a small capital raise so they can do some groundwork I would assume but not much in the way of drilling based on only 300K raise.

News, News, News, has anyone seen any news from the management. I would like to find out if this has any real hope to go up in value. If anyone has any good reasons for new investors please post them... .Thanks,
Looks like this one is done.
The last guy out, please turn out the lights.....
Still waiting for your evaluation of the drill results.
Has anyone been to the website? It needs serious work if this company wants to be taken more seriously. A bunch of scenery pictures just pretty smoke and mirrors.
Resumes are mediocre at best to be honest Gump. Proof is in the pudding here, and everything I can tell looks like a scam.
Volume is pathetic here... heard bad things about management too. What's up with that? Any truth to it?
It's on the TSX, but still a scam penny stock with terrible management. Seriously, who takes 2 years to release TERRIBLE assay results. Better to just tuck the tail and accept failure. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
This is NOT on the Pink Sheets. F Y I !!!!!
I don't know bidz are filling up looks OK from here...patience man patience rome wasn't built in a day lol...hsb

Nothing to see here. The market has spoke about this POS. Management took 2 years to release terrible assay results. Not investing a dime in this stinky pinksheet stock. I think you might argue it could be worth trip 1, maybe trip 2. These prices are just ridiculous. No minerals and bad management. Welcome to the pinks.

Copper Mountain Style Deposit-Targets on Goldcliff Claims
Last Update: 9/14/2010 1:22:32 PM
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep 14, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- George W. Sanders, President of Goldcliff Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE: GCN), reports that a detailed review of historic data bases, combined with Company field work, confirms that Goldcliff's Copper Mountain-Tulameen holdings host the ideal setting for Copper Mountain style porphyry copper-gold deposits. On the Goldcliff holdings, three porphyry exploration targets have been identified that contain copper and gold mineralization. These targets require detailed ground exploration to establish drill targets.
The Princeton Copper-Gold mining district hosts the historic Copper Mountain mine, which contains copper-gold porphyry-type ore. Copper Mountain Mining Corporation is restarting the mine and is currently in the construction phase. The historical production from the ore was 1.7 billion pounds of copper, 8.4 million ounces of silver and 0.62 million ounces of gold. Current measured and indicated resources are 518.6 million tons of 0.31% Cu containing 3.2 billion pounds of copper with gold-silver credits. The project is 75 per cent-owned by Copper Mountain Mining Corporation and 25 per cent-owned by Mitsubishi Materials Corporation.
The Goldcliff multi-sensor airborne geophysical survey indicates that the intrusive suite hosting the Copper Mountain deposits extend to the southwest through the Goldcliff claim block. Recent mapping by BC Geological Survey confirms that the prospective geology extends onto the Company holdings. This geologic mapping, together with the historical data, provides strong evidence of structural settings that are similar to Copper Mountain ore deposition. The Airborne geophysical signatures also indicate conductivity and alteration patterns consistent with porphyry-style mineralization at Copper Mountain.
Goldcliff has established three large target areas for detailed ground exploration. The three targets are Whipsaw, Lamont and 15 Mile. The Whipsaw target contains three copper showings. The Lamont target contains five copper showings and one copper-gold showing. The 15 Mile target contains silica-carbonate alteration areas associated with strongly anomalous stream sediment gold values. The historic data has been geo-referenced to the geographic coordinate system (UTM-GPS).
The Goldcliff Copper Mountain-Tulameen project is a contiguous block of 56 mineral claims totalling 25,387 hectares. The claims were acquired by staking and are 100 per cent-owned by Goldcliff. The project area has established infrastructure, with the town of Princeton, British Columbia, Canada, as the centre of commercial activity. The project is situated west of Highway 3, a major route in the province of British Columbia, and contains abundant access roads. The project also has water and access to electrical power.

Hey Stox56,
I think there was a pretty healthy price increase back in the day when the results were released, the stock was in the .50c range back in 08, dropped down to the 0.05c level and then rebounded to .25 level in the spring of this year, company has been quiet of late so price has suffered as it typically does during periods of low activity levels...hsb
Why oh why wouldn't favorable assay results attract a JV or other financing or drive the share price to much, much higher levels.
It appears to me that the market and even the managers of
this company don't believe the results are as good as you seem to
think they are. Otherwise they definitely would not have suspended activities after favorable results.
Something seems to be wrong here. I have been investing in gold and mining companies for many years and have never seen a company provide good assay results and not have it followed up by positive market activity.
Maybe there is a scam going on that I can't figure out. I mean I hope everything is above board but they need to prove it to me now.
thanks,
stox56
Well if one reads this release which I know all of you who post here must've at one point or another they state that the co was in cash conservation mode after the market crash and as a result they curtailed the assaying activity until such time as financing could be obtained, alot of juniors were in the same boat the door slammed in their faces on top of having their equity slashed by 70% on average just becuz of those friggin hedgies dumping everything they could...hsb
Goldcliff Resource Corporation: Panorama Ridge Exploration Update
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 3, 2009) - George Sanders, President of Goldcliff Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GCN) is pleased to report that new targets have expanded the exploration potential at Panorama Ridge from deposit scale to district scale. Through airborne geophysics, a major northeast structure was discovered that is believed to be fundamentally related to gold mineralization in the Nickel Plate/Panorama region.
The major structure and cross-cutting structures are believed to be the conduits for mineralizing fluids that formed the economic gold deposits in the region. The new targets exhibit spatial, structural and mineralogical similarities to both the Panorama and the Nickel Plate gold mineralization. The targets display a broad range of positive structural, magnetic and conductive attributes that promote them to high priority for ground follow-up, trenching and drilling.
The Panorama Ridge gold property is located in Hedley, British Columbia, Canada, in the historic Hedley gold district. From 1904 to 1996, the Hedley gold district produced 2.5 million ounces of gold.
Acquired in 2000, the Panorama Ridge property has undergone extensive surface ground exploration, trenching and drilling, all of which have led to the discovery of four potentially economic gold zones in the southwest portion of the claim area.
In 2003, drilling intersected gold mineralization at the York-Viking zone where the discovery drill hole cut 1.02 grams per tonne gold over 67.02 metres. In 2007, surface trenching in the York-Viking zone discovered the high-grade gold at the Bonanza Trench, grading 17.37 ounces per ton over 1.00 metre. In 2008, Goldcliff conducted 312 kilometres of an airborne survey over the claims and identified more exploration gold targets. Consisting of 60 contiguous mineral claims that total 6,434 hectares, the Panorama Ridge gold property is 100-per cent-owned by Goldcliff.
Since 2000, Goldcliff's exploration activities have included 4.1 kilometres of road construction, 6.2 kilometres of trenching, 16,611 metres of drilling and 21,093 samples of gold fire assaying. The exploration work has identified numerous gold showings and four gold mineralized zones in the favourable Hedley Gold Basin geological terrain of Upper Triassic Nicola Group sedimentary and volcanic rocks. The Hedley Gold Basin covers an area of 500 square kilometres that includes the Hedley gold district and the Panorama Ridge gold property.
In 2008, the exploration program focused on trenching and drilling at the Bonanza Trench area and grid drilling on the York-Viking, Nordic and Thor zones. Around the 2007 Bonanza Trench, a large area was stripped (156 square metres) that exposed gold-skarn altered rock for detailed channel sampling. The exploration drilling program consisted of 6,163 metres of coring in 81 holes at the three zones.
On the York-Viking zone, the 2007 Bonanza Trench of 34.40 metres returned values of 17.37 ounces per ton (opt) gold over 1.00 metre and averaged 5.24 opt gold over 5.00 metres. The remaining 29.40 metres of the trench had gold values that averaged 0.37 grams per tonne. The gold values where accompanied with strongly anomalous values of bismuth and tellurium. During 2008, the Bonanza Trench area was stripped (12.0 by 13.0 metres) and panel sampled in detail at one metre intervals. The panel sampled area (156 square metres) averaged 3.31 grams per tonne gold with a higher grade component of 0.79 opt gold in a 10-square-metre area. Electron microprobe analysis of the trench samples identified native gold and the gold-bismuth-tellurium alloys of hedleyite and joseite.
Nineteen drill holes, totalling 1,143.17 metres, probed the York-Viking zone. Fourteen of these holes were directed at the Bonanza Trench area. Reported results from twelve holes showed several 1.00 metre intercepts with grades of 0.73 to 5.65 grams per tonne gold and weakly anomalous values of bismuth and tellurium. Hedleyite, joseite and native gold are the important contributors to the high-grade gold values in the Bonanza Trench on the Panorama Ridge property and the other gold mines in the Hedley gold mining district. In addition to the trenching and drilling on the York-Viking zone, drilling was conducted on the Nordic and Thor zones.
As financing sources evaporated and equity markets drastically declined in late 2008 and early 2009, Goldcliff elected to curtail further property expenditures in an effort to conserve cash. As a result, much of the drill core was retained in a secure facility pending improving financing conditions and Goldcliff's additional financing. Recent financings have enabled the Company to expedite core cutting and sampling.
The Panorama Ridge property is located four kilometres east of the historic Nickel Plate-Mascot mine that has produced 2.5 million ounces of gold. The gold mineralization on the Panorama Ridge gold property is related to the pervasive silica-iron alteration (skarn replacement) of the Upper Triassic Nicola Group sedimentary and volcanic rocks. The property was staked in 2000 after Goldcliff prospected new logging road outcrops that exposed skarn alteration. The property has mine-related infrastructure and is readily accessed by roads. Goldcliff has discovered several gold showings and four potentially-economic gold zones. The results from the airborne geophysical survey have expanded the scope of exploration and increased the potential for the new gold discoveries within Goldcliff's claim area.

Goldcliff reassays confirm bonanza grades at Panorama
Thursday January 10 2008 - News Release
Mr. Leonard Saleken reports
METALLIC GOLD ASSAYS OVER 17 OUNCES COMFIRM BONANZA GOLD GRADES AT PANORAMA RIDGE
Goldcliff Resource Corp. has confirmed the bonanza gold grades by metallic assay at the company's 100-per-cent-owned Panorama Ridge property near Hedley, B.C. The high-grade gold values have been reassayed by metallic methods and confirm that the bonanza gold grades are not subject to a gold nugget effect. The metallic gold assaying has improved the gold grades in the Bonanza trench to 17.368 gold ounces per short ton over 1.00 metre or 9.210 gold ounces per short ton over 2.50 metres. The bonanza gold grades are a major discovery on the Panorama Ridge property.
Bonanza trench gold results
The Bonanza trench, which was excavated at the southwestern portion of the York-Viking zone, has multiounce, high-grade gold results. The metallic gold values in the tables are continuous channel samples and are reported in grams per tonne (g/t) and ounces per short ton.

Gold assay procedures
In the metallic gold assay procedure, the rock sample is two-stage crushed to minus 10 mesh and split to achieve a 250-gram pulp assay subsample. The 250-gram pulp assay subsample is pulverized to a fineness such that approximately 95 per cent will pass through a minus-140-mesh screen.
The 250-gram pulp assay subsample is then screened through a 140-mesh screen. The fraction that passes through the screen is called the undersize. The fraction that does not pass through the screen is called the oversize. The undersize fraction is then weighed and rolled to ensure homogeneity and two 30-gram subsamples are taken from this fraction and fire assayed for gold. The plus-140-mesh material (oversize fraction) is assayed entirely. Each metallic assay requires three fire assay analyses to achieve a result. The resultant fire assay beads are digested with acid and after parting are analyzed on a Perkin-Elmer atomic absorption spectrophotometer using an air-acetylene flame to a detection limit of 0.03 gram per tonne.
The gold values are then calculated back to the original sample weight which provides a net gold value for the rock sample that is based on two minus-140 values and a single plus-140-mesh value. Results are collated by computer and are printed along with accompanying quality control data (repeats and standards).
Though not as rigorous as the metallic, the non-metallic (regular) gold assay procedure follows the same basic steps as the metallic procedure. However, unlike the metallic procedure, which does assay the plus-140-mesh material, the non-metallic procedure does not assay a sample's oversize fraction. Furthermore, the non-metallic procedure does not require three fire assay analyses to achieve a result as does the metallic procedure.
Samples are redone if the quality control standard is outside two standard deviations or if the blank is greater than 0.015 g/t.
Conclusions
The metallic assay procedures are often used when multiounce gold grades occur and when samples are suspected to contain coarser gold. As explained above, in addition to producing a coarse (oversize) and fine (undersize) fraction for analyses, the rigorousness of the metallic procedure assures accuracy. In the case of Bonanza trench samples, the procedures indicate that while some coarse gold is present it is not disproportionately represented in the overall sample composition. The fine (undersize) fraction contains the majority of the gold and accordingly, the samples are not subject to a gold nugget effect.
In the Hedley gold camp, the gold mineralization that is associated with gold-ore deposits is typically fine grained (undersize). At Panorama Ridge, the fine grained and the coarse grained (oversize) gold is not visible. In order to have these bonanza gold grades, a gold sulphide compound mineral must be related to the high-grade gold values. Goldcliff is researching the mineralogical possibilities to identify the mineral that is attributed to the high-grade gold values.
The Bonanza trench, located at the southwestern portion of the York-Viking zone, is a major gold discovery. The high-grade gold discovery at Panorama Ridge is comparable with the high-grade gold mineralization mined underground at the Nickel Plate mine. The high-grade gold beds occur within an overall mineralized sequence that is up to 200 metres in thickness. The lower grade gold portions of this sequence were successfully mined by Mascot Gold Mines' open pit operation.
The geological setting at Panorama Ridge is similar to these previously successful settings. Goldcliff has been targeting the bulk tonnage potential of Panorama Ridge with success. The Bonanza trench gold results confirm the high-grade potential of the property.
Analyses
The samples are shipped to EcoTech Laboratory Ltd. for sample preparation and analyses. EcoTech Laboratory is a certified laboratory with the ISO 9001 certification of registration No. 52172-01. The certified assayer for EcoTech is Jutta Jealouse, B.C. certified assayer.

wow alot of people are uber bearish on this name do ya'll know what stops are???
hsb
Not by our power--that's for sure.
Thank you Eagle777, I know (I think we all realize) these drill results are poor, IMO, but compassion has the ability to change hearts of stone into the finest gold. Dad's always want to see their sons do well. Nothing wrong with that. But one person doing well does not take away anything for the other. Our Father, who knows where the treasure is-- made more than enough to go around.
:>)
VEEEERRRRRYYYY NICE OF YOOOOUUUUUU TO ENCOURRAGGGEEEE THISSSS COMPANYYYYY. THEY DESPARRATTTLLLYYYY NEEEDDDD ITTTTT WITH THE DRILLLLLL RESULLLLTTSSSS SHHHOOOOWWWNNNN!!!!
Still waiting for your evaluation of the latest drill results.
I hope this company/CEO does well.
While I'm not invested in it (I'm long in another)I'm of the opinion that there is more than enough under the ground to be an overwhelming and abundant blessing not only for this company but for mine as well. We need these resources, jobs for men.
I bless this company and the hands that work on it to discover more than they dreamed possible. (And of course, my CEO/company, as well---soon and very soon! :>)
the only way this company is 'top notch' would be if charts were ski slopes...
What would be your interpretation of the latest drill results?
I highly doubt that is why. These drill programs cost serious money and if they had any confidence in the results, they would not have delayed publicizing them nearly two years. These programs are professionally designed. Naturally the BEST spots are always checked the first time. This is something everybody would do. There may be a legitimate reason for the delay, but unfortunately the results were horribly weak anyways--the vast majority were well below 1 g/t, and none even exceeded 2 g/t.
Could it be fools gold?
in laymen's terms this company really 'sucks'.
Yes, something does not seem right with this, maybe entry level at .01, maybe.
Ah yes I see the dates now, could be that these first holes in the Thor zone were given lower priority to those of the York-Viking & Nordic Zone results where the results were more developmental ie step outs and infill drilling rather than trying to prove up a completely new zone...hsb
Your right ! it a big bust
howe, the PR says those were drilled in 2008, but assays were not released until 2010 (see below). I don't know why there was such a lag time. Perhaps they were drilled by a previous owner of the claims and just never got sent to the lab (but I just don't know why). For better or worse, it is what it is. Unfortunately, they were not so great...too low grade.
Hopefully, the next drill program will be better, but I didn't see where they have anything lined up (from the last several news releases). Might be because they were waiting to get some working capital, which it appears they did get, in exchange for 3.1 million shares.
http://www.goldcliff.com/files/1279561350.pdf
So, maybe we'll hear something soon about another drill program.
P.S. admin deleted your posts (and several other users posts as well) not me. I just became mod and have not deleted any yet. As long as people follow the TOUs the posts stay. Posts calling others "pumpers" or "bashers" or being "personal attacks" etc. will get deleted.
Short summary of TOUs:
1. talk about the company/stock
2. don't talk about other posters (don't call them pumpers or bashers, question agendas, etc.).
3. don't spam
Can you please substantiate your BS claims about delayed assay results? I'm waiting...hsb
i think there is something VEERRRRRRRYYYYY sinister going on at goldcliff with promoters and the like...what do you think?
Sorry .. I do not know that and I could not care less what these guys do or what this Company does. The bulk of my investments lie elsewhere. Thank you.
I don't know, Doberman. .005 still seems too high for me.
The value of an exploration company, ultimately, is in what they discover and prove up. Their resumes won't help the stock price. Having adequate experience and actually discovering and proving a property would go a long way to help the stock price here. Any idea why the last results took so long too be announced by this cracker-jack team?
this stocks is in BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGG trouble.
The fact that it took them 2 years to put out assay results fits the profile of a Howe Street scam...can you blame them? They were garbage! or it was just very bad planning and timing and synchronization(crappy management) And of course the market sees it too. No volume .. no interest. The'll get delisted before it hits bottom...prayers up for anyone holding this trash!
what do you think the bottom is here?
Oh it goes way deeper than that, bro...some real slippery individuals involved with this company. No one's money is safe here.
A Review of Recent Mining Stock Scams

Hey Mr. Howe Street...do you really think that eases anyone's mind? GCN fits the profile to a T of Howe Street scam...especially with the "promoters" they have chosen. This is a train wreck waiting to happen...my heart goes out to anyone who has been influenced by the "promoters" here...get out now before they seperate you from ALL of your cash...because they will!
Factoid: Howe Street is consigered the penny scam capitol of North America!
Read the link above to get a glimpse of how they operate...WATCH YOUR BACKS HERE!
same here...this one is going straight in the toilet!
I would never own shares of this company...NEVER! I'd rather flush my money down the toilet...I know some of the "promoters" here and they are the worst kind...Be very careful investing in GCN as you will soon feel the wrath and greed of this "Howe Street" scam...nice handle by the way LOL! how ironic!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look at the dilution here!!!!! Check their filings...GCN is fleecing their shareholders...this is a big scam bro...and I hear that the father of the president of GCN is a major promoter! Im calling the Canadian Securities Regulatory Authority right now and reporting this father-son scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUYER BEWARE!
Nothing special about these properties at all...and I hear that the TSX has more scams than any other exchange...especially in mineral exploration...that must explain the pathetic volume here...no one is interested and I don't blame them!!!!!!!!!!!
