Global Water Technologies releases annual shareholder letter
Dear Shareholders of Global Water Technologies,
Turning the page to a new year after one of the most volatile stock markets since 2008, we look forward to new business opportunities that will add value for our stakeholders in 2023.
After successfully completing and maintaining compliance with new SEC amendments to Exchange Act Rule 15c2-11, GWTR stock continues to hold its upgraded status of Current Information on OTC Markets. This should help us as we explore possible acquisitions of technology and business operations that can benefit from access to capital markets.
While market conditions in 2022 resulted in much lower deal flow than expected at the outset of the year, the company researched and met with a number of potential candidates and continues to have discussions with several that may be a good fit. Although the company does not comment on such ongoing activities, updates will be provided if initial discussions result in material events.
The federal infrastructure funding for water projects in the United States continues to move slowly through state programs with mixed results on local activity. While the record amounts approved by Congress going into 2022 have led to increased discussion about water efficiency and innovation, the actual impact on improvements has been muted by the fragmented nature of the industry and few coordinated efforts. That is frustrating for many who have worked on changing the process over the past 10 years.
As noted in November, the company responded to slower activity in corporate deal flow and infrastructure projects by focusing on new licensing and distribution agreements that build on its legacy non-chemical water treatment business. Those efforts should continue in 2023 and lead to initial revenues and new partnerships.
In 2022, shares of Global Water Technologies traded between $0.016 and $0.10 with a closing price of $0.028 and volume of 1,111,560. In 2021, shares of Global Water Technologies traded between $0.014 and $0.34 with a closing price of $0.07 and volume of 2,648,279.
The number of common shares at December 31, 2022 was 26,173,955 and the number of free-trading shares remains at 5,895,503. The company has reserved 2.4 million shares for convertible promissory notes totaling $73,500. Additional shares may be issued as the company seeks adequate funding to execute its business plan and further upgrade its SEC compliance.
We wish all our stakeholders a most prosperous new year and thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Erik Hromadka
Chairman and CEO

Welcome to the GWTR board and ihub HTGK.
Its not a very active board at the moment, so you might not get a lot of other responses.

Happy New Year. It is too bad that those patients expire before those could sell them. Maybe a larger company will acquire us. As far as I know I think the CEO has been fair.

Hey there bagwa,

I am thinking GWTR must be getting close to having something happening.

This stock and the entire year has been a year from hell, I have 12 reverse merger plays ( with $10k in each one) in my penny port and not one of them is alive, and they all have such great potential and obviously I'm underwater.
And I cannot bring myself to sell any of them.. so sit and wait, wait and sit, hurry up and wait. Glad this is only a hobby for me. I'll be out of the country for two weeks, you watch something break loose and I won't see it... being a riverboat gambler is not easy!!!
GWTR is such a rare opportunity here.
Not many (if any) OTC pink current stocks with a current market cap under $1M, actively seeking a J/V or R/M candidate.
Water sector is bonus.

Well, the lights are still on

Thanks nikkitime,
GWTR longs know the story so far. I for one, wouldn't have stuck around this long if I didn't think there will be a happy ending.
I am grateful to Erik for his efforts and honesty here.

From the message board to the chairman of the board!
Quite right.
Years ago the current CEO Erik Hromadka, was just a shareholder. He eventually went to court to gain control of GWTR from the previous CEO.
After gaining control, he restructured it to be a vehicle for a JV/partnership or RM candidate.
That was a long time ago, but since that time we have seen almost no dilution and no toxic financing.
He recently got GWTR pink current to prevent us from going to expert market.
After all this time, with this tiny O/S and float, GWTR is still in a great position once Erik finds the right deal.

A custodianship public company is one that is held in trust until a company or entity is willing to bring the company current and register as it's rightful owner.
RESEARCH, BUY, FORGET...it is funds in a time vault.......... that when opened, could be lucrative ( or not)
People don't realize that GWTR is a custodianship play, years in the making.
It is a joint venture/reverse merger candidate with a tiny float and a market cap of just $1M at the current PPS.

Maybe this will help. Biden admin reveals 60 finalists for $1B in economic grants
Via AP news wire
Mon, December 13, 2021, 3:01 AM
Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on Monday is announcing 60 finalists for $1 billion in economic development grants tied to the Biden administration's coronavirus relief package and aimed at improving job training and regional industry partnerships.
There were 529 applicants for the grants. That means roughly 11% of submissions made it to the next round, which will ultimately choose 20 to 30 regional coalitions for up to $100 million in grants that could shape manufacturing, clean energy and life sciences hubs around the country. Twelve of the finalists were from places tied to the coal industry.
The finalists — often coalitions made up of government, academic and economic partnerships — received $500,000 each to help plan for the next round, with applications due in March. The deadline for choosing the winners is September.
“This program will bring communities back in regions across America ” Alejandra Castillo, assistant commerce secretary for economic development, said in an interview. She said the program was designed to bring different local partners together "to leverage their assets.”
Among the city-led finalists are: Indianapolis; Newark, New Jersey; Tucson, Arizona; Manchester, New Hampshire; Phoenix; and New Orleans. The finalists also include universities in Alabama, Maine, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Kansas. There are also economic partnerships and industry-specific organizations such as the Wisconsin Paper Council.
White House senior adviser Gene Sperling, who is overseeing coronavirus relief, said interest far exceeded the expected 150 applicants.
