Forest Gate Resources Inc Company website http://www.forestgate.ca/ Forest Gate is exploring the East Side and West Side diamond properties at Fort a la Corne, near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan as well as the South Side property, which consists of 52,368 hectares of ground to the southeast of the Fort a la Corne kimberlite field, the largest of its kind in the world. Forest Gate has also entered into a joint venture with Majescor Resources on the Portage diamond property in the Otish Mountain region of Quebec. . In 2003, on the East Side Property, 37 diamonds were recovered from a 485.52 kilogram sample taken from its 100 percent-owned Dizzy kimberlite. Eight of the 37 diamonds had at least one side measuring more than 0.50 millimetres. Forest Gate Resources recently completed its 2005 exploration drill program on its 100% owned East Side diamond property. Preliminary results from this drilling program show that the first batch of microdiamond results for two of five drill holes targeted on its Dizzy kimberlite pipe produced a total of 28 microdiamonds, plus one macrodiamond (two dimensions greater than 0.5mm), were recovered; the second batch of microdiamond results from the other three HQ-sized drill holes are pending. Samples from the 121 and Duke were also tested for microdiamond analysis for which results are pending. The company also identified at least 13 distinct geophysical anomalies on its wholly-owned South Side property located near Melfort, about 100 kilometres southeast of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
