It seems ford has several things winding through the courts... its all noise. today we are at 1st resistance... the bottom support is around 10.40 and the top resistance .... around 10.90 .. either way you could score a nice one.

Well you need a chart at least 200 days long to get the MA. Six month chart won't quite do it.
1 yr or 2 to 3 yr are easy to work with but a longer 10 or 20 yr should be glanced at once in awhile.

thanks for the info.. in the numbers you are referencing are these from a 6 mon or 1 yr chart.

on the one year chart i see where 50 day moves above 200 day in late feb and then falls below 200 late april..

is this the right chart to be looking at..

Carl, the past 5 days down have brought us below the 50 MA since the second day down. It continues on a smooth sub-5-day MA angle downward. 50-day MA is turning down and may cross below the 200 day MA in about two weeks. The trend has shifted down since we crossed below the 200 Day MA on March 22.

Buying opportunity will be after it forms a bottom and that looks to be months away and then there is the election. $9.05 pps on Oct 4 2011 will have to be tested IMHO.

nope I don't have the crystal ball upgrade... I can tell you that my upside is about 11.59 if it decides to turn and run.. but as for a pop... its too early to tell.

10.75 has been met.. 10.70/ then 10.63 would be my next guess.

you also have a strong plateau formation on the 6 month chart that is being confirmed with the long chart. It appears there could be some more down left in this trend.

we are just touching the lower bollie on the long chart... it will either ride the lower bollie like a slide or consolidate here till it lets go..

then its either a small bounce or a move to the middle of the bollie band.. which sets up a whole new test.

Well, if the "fill the gap" cliche takes hold, we just hit the top-end of it today. The gap is 10.70 to 10.90, so we'll see if it actually is "filled".

Frustration at it's finest with a profitable and steadily improving company.

Good luck all, this "go away in May" thing is also taking hold on stocks too... for some reason it just doesn't show it on the the dow, nasdaq, and S&P.

in looking at 3 month chart with BB set at 20,2 the bottom is at 11.21 on the 6 month look bottom band is at 11.00

not sure i have the right chart but 10.85 to 11 looks good. right..

I sold my Ford holdings this morning in premarket before it went down much further. I still made a little bit which is always better than taking a loss. Can't wait for things to look up again.

I think you will do fine buying on the way down...

This thing will rebound pretty soon... its in the lower end... the only thing I am really keeping an eye on is if its going to bounce with the MACD .. its at the zero line on the long chart.. if it dips under we are going to mid 10's easily.
